Such a wonderful experience! It’s a great neighborhood place to grab a delicious bite . Lots of familiar faces and a more than welcoming staff made our meal even better. We tried the gnocchi Mac and cheese, the burger and the baked chicken. All delicious and devoured quicker than we wanted! Oh and definitely try the desserts! The chocolate bread pudding was beyond!
We are regulars now. Always amazing!
We love Silverlake Bistro. It is small, neighborhoody, casual, and the most un-Miami of spots because it is chic yet unpretentious and has great food (the most un-Miami part is the unpretentious). Sandy Sanchez, who owns it with her chef-husband Benoit Ramblat, is effervescent, charming, and incredibly accommodating. The food is really good. Don't expect a wide-ranging menu--it's a small restaurant with bistro-like offerings--but do expect delicious food. A real standout on our last visit was a nightly special that was a wild mushroom flatbread with triple creme, but everything (and there were six of us, each eating something different) was really really good.
My dinner at Silverlake Bistro was amazing. Food was delicious and the service impeccable. Chef Ben and Sandy came by our table a few times. David our server was on point. Highly recommended. My wife and I loved it.
Lovely bistro, outstanding salad and fish!
Delicious food and excellent service are the main draws of this relatively new North Beach restaurant. It is such a joy to have a serious place in the area.
Excellent food and wonderful service! Especially loved the scallops and the desserts were amazing. Looking forward to returning and trying more dishes. The service was impeccable, friendly and on point with the menu and wine selection (which was well curated and reasonable). :-)
Silverlake is a very unassuming, casual bisto. The real surprise is when the food starts coming out. It is fantastic. The chef seriously knows what he is doing. I am still dreaming of the carrot appetizer. The only negative is that our waitress had some attitude. But the food is what will make us return.
What a delightful "neighborhood" restaurant. A wonderful and small place with very attentive staff. Fresh and wonderful combination of ingredients with a French flair. This was our second time dining at the restaurant and we actually enjoyed it more than the first time. We are looking forward to our third visit soon.
Very nice ! Its a wonderfull place . The food and the team are very good
We enjoyed the food and thought the decor and music were very intimate and cool.
Fabulous from beginning to end! The hostess was had a wonderful and welcoming way. The ambiance made you feel like you were swept away to another country. The food from the first course to desert was exquisite. The service couldn't have been better.
Both owners were there and at our table throughout the night. How much better does it get???
Nice neighborhood spot feels like old south beach
Neighborhood gem with very good food. Their French heritage shines throughout. Worth a drive.
Silverlake is a charming, quirky, laid-back neighborhood bistro with really good food. The staff (including the owner) were all warm and accommodating. Welcome to the Beach!
Go here for a date night. Go here to celebrate a special occasion. Go here to simply have a delicious meal in an intimate and super-cute space.
Absolutely wonderful service and food!
Food was great. It is a very cute place. Prices are moderate. Would highly recommend. The only issue is that the music was too loud. They said they would turn it down, but five minutes later it was loud again.
truly excellent and surprising, authentic colorful, food with healthy options, they have vegan options, need more.
I went for my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend. I was able to park for free right in front of the restaurant no hassle. We were greeted by name and immediately wished a happy anniversary. Next we were seated and given complimentary champagne.
The waiter was very attentive. We ordered gnocchi Mac n cheese, scallops, and the lamb shank. Everything was exquisite.
The night ended with a dessert with a sparkler in it. Everything was perfect.
Excellent food and friendly service! Have been several times and found food is consistently great ! Generous portions, and reasonable prices! Restaurant has a quaint “family” feel! Chicken is superb as are the mussels! Burger and fries are delicious as well! Desserts are interesting, but my favorite is the more traditional fudge sundae! For great food in a neighborhood setting away from the craziness of some of the touristy locations, you can’t go wrong at Silverlake.
Amazing food, decor, and service!
Loved itWill be back soon.
Friends recommended Silver Lake Bistro to us and we tried it out on December 27. We really enjoyed it and are going back again three days later. We each had a different salad and they were sizeable and excellent - both dressings were top shelf. My girlfriend had the scallops and enjoyed them and I had the burger and it was top 10. we had a nice bottle of wine for a reasonable price. The ambience is very nice, the service was EXCELLENT, very friendly staff. Probably the best service I have ever had in Miami. I highly recommend (and I am fussy and eat out 200+ nights per year)
We had an amazing dinner at Silverlake this past weekend. Some outstanding dishes were the chicken and lamb on the menu and the swordfish special. Of course the truffle fries were over the moon. We can’t wait to return.
Absolutely one of my favorite new restaurants in Miami!
Remarkably imaginative menu and presentation. Delicious. Fun. A number of California specialty wines.
Our local neighborhood go to- always delicious!
A great and welcoming restaurant. So glad it is my neighborhood now. Food is delicious. Great happy hour. Scrumptious wines.
This was my first time dining at Silverlake Bistro and I had the most amazing experience. From the moment I walked in I was taken aback by the stunning decor everything about it was warm and inviting. Our server Tracy was excellent very well versed on the menu and the wine list. She made great recommendations and did a wonderful job of describing the specials and answering all our questions throughly. Now on to the main focus: The food ! Everything was absolutely delicious. We started off with a few appetizers the lamb tartar, gnocchi mac and cheese, the St. Helena mini grilled cheese, veal meatballs, and delicious pan fried okra. My guests and I finished every last bite everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor ( I do have to say the mac and cheese and the grilled cheese were my personal favorites). In between our courses the owner Sandy came by to check on us and see if we were enjoying ourselves which was a nice touch that made us feel very welcome and taken care of. For the mains we shared the burger and the scallop dish(simply amazing) between the four of us. Please do yourself a favor and order the burger it is the juiciest most delectable burger you will ever have in your life. We somehow had enough room for dessert and enjoyed the sundae and a yogurt cheesecake parfait but the most memorable was the cigar au miel! sooo yummy. I can't recommend this place enough! sooo looking forward to my next visit!
Food nothing special. My scallops were overcooked. Fish plates very plain. They will have to improve to keep it open. The current chef has not learnt from the Fresa Francesa. Very poor.
A neighborhood gem. Look forward to our next dinner.
Our dinner was absolutely delicious. Small menu but everything was as described and very fresh and appealing.
Food was great! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Great restaurant for any occasion!
Great food, original gnokkies
As a loyal fan of their other restaurant La Fresa(my fave) , we wanted to support them in this new endeavor and so happy we did ! Outstanding food... the gnocchi Mac and cheese style I want buckets of lol, burger to die for and the butterscotch pot with salt quickly became my favorite dessert ever . But most importantly we loved the atmosphere , ambience and warm welcome by staff . You feel like friends . Sandy is a sweetheart and so hospitable and it translates to her staff (some of which we remembered from la Fresa). Highly recommend trying this new little bistro . A+
As a great fan of their first restaurant, I expected greatness here and I was not dissapointed. I dropped in for a burger, and had the best burger ever, along with a neat microbrew. Next time: the scallops looked great.
A great experience! Every dish we had was deliciously unique! The steak and fries was amazing ... Fries were incredible! The grilled cheese small plate is a must have... What a gem!
Fresh, interesting food served in a beautifully decorated space. The location is not great, but don't let that stop you from a visit. The chicken is delicious (and a very generous portion). They only have beer and wine and the menu is not huge, but everything we had was great and what passed us looked good too. The service was friendly and attentive and even though it was a Saturday night we did not feel rushed as often happens. They are still working out a few kinks, but it is a joy to have such a high quality restaurant in our neighborhood
Food very good. Had the red grouper and it was delicious. My husband had the enormous hamburger. Would suggest they not heap so many french fries with it. LOL.
