Silverheels Bar and Grill
Loved the all you could eat St. Paddy’s day corned beef and cabbage, and great Irish coffee. All at a very reasonable price.
We a dinner reservation through open table last Friday, what a nice surprise that we were able to get in at the last minute.
I ordered Mountain Trout Alamadine on the menu, since it is one of my favorite dishes in Summit County.
I enjoyed having this dish whenever I go to a number of reputable restaurant in this area, I know Blue Spruce used to serve, however that place is no longer in business unfortunately.
I was so looking forward to trying it out that evening, since I saw a great review of this restaurant.
However, my dish of mountain trout alamadine was flopped. My fish was too thin and over cooked with very greasy Panko flour. My husband had a bite of my fish, he insisted it was fried.
I was a bit disappointed with my dish.
I may try the other mountain trout items on the menu next time, but not this same dish.
My only negative was the soup that was a special this night, it was awful! Some kind of onion soup, otherwise all meals were great, enjoyed all.
Everyone was very friendly!! Great food excellent drinks.
It’s definitely family friendly! Everyone in our party enjoyed all the food, it was delicious & fresh!
Our food was very good, server was attentive but had too many customers to serve. They messed up our desert order a little, but it was still good. The restaurant was crowded and as a result a little noisy - it fills up on weekends during the busy season, so plan ahead. We will certainly go again, but will try to avoid the high season.
We have dined at Silverheels a number of times, but this visit the menu changed and we all loved our choices. Great atmosphere! Fun night out with my wife and son!
I’ve dined at Silverheels many times and it’s always the best steak! Tonight, the service was a little slow, but it was very busy and I knew they were short staffed. It’s usually noisy, but that’s just due to surrounding tables. I’ll always come back to Silverheels until the food goes bad. The food is always good!
Group of 5 friends.
Great food. Only problem was that one member of our party did not receive his salad when others did and had to ask a manager to track it down after all the other salads had been eaten.
The table we sat at was very draughty and when mentioned nothing was done. Menu was excellent but both my choice of starter, scallops and main course, duck could have been better. The dressing on the scallops was too strong so the scallops could have been anything and the cherry dressing on the duck was too sweet. Disappointing.
Always a wonderful experience, from Happy Hour, Dinner or Lunch. For this occasion we visiting Silverheels for our Anniversary. Reservations were made easily online via Open Table. On a busy weekend night, this was very helpful. We started with the Ahi appetizer which was truly delicious. And of course, their delicious bread that they offer! My partner got the Prime Rib and thought it was one of the best he had ever had. Had a wonderful herb crust! I had a surf and turf meal that included a filet with hollandaise, one scallop and one very large tiger shrimp. I do not usually eat steak and this was the best steak I have ever had! However, the scallop and shrimp need some sort of seasoning, perhaps garlic butter? I believe they wanted the integrity of the seafood but the lack of seasoning had me longing for more of the hollandaise to run everything through. The atmosphere is a little comingled and the restaurant was very busy so a tad loud but all in all a wonderful experience. The food is always spot on and delicious!
Wonderful, fun place. Bring your appetite because the portions are enormous. Thank goodness the food is really good.
A hidden gem in Frisco, don't let its interior fool you. The bar area is nice enough and the dining room could use some intimacy, but the food is almost unexpectedly fantastic. My wife and I have been here a few times and absolutely loved each meal. Interesting, creative, and (most importantly) delicious!
My girlfriend and I had reservations for dinner on Valentines. When we arrived our table was ready and we were promptly seated. Our server arrived and explained the special Valentines menus for two. The food less wonderful and the only thing we had to ask for was an extra plate since it was inconvenient for both to eat from the same plate. I would highly recommend Silerheels Bar and Gill.
Great service and awesome food. Had the duck and a wedge salad. The citrus soy flavor of the duck was incredible. Friend enjoyed his Filet mignon as well. Nice atmosphere.
We enjoyed the two evenings we dined there. The live music on Saturday night when we are in the bar was very enjoyable. The first night when we ate in the restaurant was pleasant. Our food was all very good both nights. We will go there again!
As usual, the trout was quite good. Silverheels has been a reliable restaurant in Summit Count for many years.
On a whim decided to go here. I ordered Trout and it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I were stuffed the rest of the night!
Trout was delicious! Also Lettus wraps were great. One of my party got the pork chop, it was delicious. Food was a 5! Service was good, but they were understaffed and we didn’t get a 2nd drink. ( we were having wine)
Yes I would recommend this restaurant.
We had a dinner reservation but stayed for food at the bar because it was so much fun. The musician was amazing. Green chili A+ . Would return.
Excellent food, friendly staff. Job well done!
Food was good... better than good and the ambiance is nice. Service, not so good (empty water glasses, didn't get checked on, dirty dishes left on table after we packed leftovers and finished our bottle of wine).
Great for a bar, not the best if you want a date night where you will be waited on.
Always a great meal and good value!
Birthday dinner - had trout and a flat iron steak dinner
Great restaurant in Frisco, really enjoyed my meal
The mussels are amazing
Our party of 4 chose to eat here because Breckenridge, where we were staying, was so crowed. We shared the BBQ chicken wings which were very tasty & meaty. I personally had the Simply Seasoned Pan Seared Duck Breast and it was delicious. The other three guests had the Raspberry Glazed Pork Chop, Smothered Steak, and Almost Famous Fish Tacos and they said they were very good. Two of us shared the Pear Bread Pudding which was amazing! It’s a casual atmosphere, perfect for apres ski dining. It was definitely worth the drive from Breckenridge.
Food was good not great. Understaffed which I understand. All of Summit County is understaffed.
Waiter had too many tables to manage a great experience, but he was lovely and kept his cool.
We arrived after a chilly visit to the Ice Castles and the host seated us right by the fireplace. Our server was very friendly and the food was creative and good. Loved the crab empanadas!
Our husband looks forward to coming here every time we visit this area (approx twice a year). Last year the service was horrid—no refills on paid drinks and took forever to get sauces for food.
This year, we ordered an appetizer which never came. When we asked the waiter, who seemed overwhelmed, he said it would be right out. As he went back towards the kitchen, he passed the other staff bringing our food. He said it had not been made yet. We did not want it as we already had our meals. I ordered a steak medium and it came out rare. He took it back twice and it was still rare the third time it came out. I just ate a piece but I basically had lost my appetite at this point. Also, almost this entire time of sending steak back, my daughter had been waiting for ketchup, which she didn’t get till the third steak presentation. The manager never even came over to apologize or anything. They did not charge for my meal which was nice but just overall not a pleasant evening.
Our waiter, Joshua, was outstanding. Full knowledge of the menu and wine list. Service was superb and Joshua was Very customer-oriented. The seafood was recommended and the entrees were well presented and delicious. We definitely will return to the Silverheels Bar and Grill.
Our waiter Jeremy was awesome. Loved the live music in the bar l. The food was amazing. The steaks were cooked perfectly!
Service was slow, and it took about 25 min for our entrees to arrive. I had the 7 oz filet with scallops and shrimp. Both seafood items were very good, but the filet was a little tough, although cooked correctly at medium rare. The food was quite tasty and we enjoyed the ambiance and food, but probably best to order an appetizer because the service was a little slow.
There was live music in the bar, which was quite good, the sound does not carry into the restaurant.
Food was excellent. The service was also excellent.
The cornbread muffins are a nice change from the dull bread other restaurants provide. The food was decent, not great, but the value was appropriate. I'd eat there again.
The food was good, ambiance was nice but a bit noisy. Definitely a nice place to stop in Frisco. I highly suggest using the open table app for getting a res, that seems to be the only way they take tables. We were turned away the first night without a res and came back the second night.
Outstanding service from the moment we walked in until we left! Food was great and with a large party, the service was amazing!
Friendly staff and excellent food!
Very friendly and excellent food. Tuna tartare starter was fantastic! We really enjoyed our meal here.
Excellent food and service! Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable of the food and answered all of our questions. He was polite, quick and just an overall great waiter. The restaurant itself was spacious and family friendly. Would definitely eat here again!
