   Came here on our honeymoon, which was gladly recognized by our waiter. He treated us to dessert at the end of the evening, which was to die for! We enjoyed the balance of flavors each meal had — lime complimenting saltiness of miso, fresh ground wasabi root dolloped on top of each piece of sushi, miso caramel cheesecake with a black sesame crust. Even the cocktails had fun twists (example: gin and tonic with chamomile, citruses, and elderflower tonic. Highly recommend coming here at least once!

   The food tasted amazing but the ambience feels too much like a standard hotel restaurant rather than a sushi restaurant in a Ritz Carlton. Booths feel more Denny's than the expensive restaurant that it is. We did find it amusing that whilst the food all looked and tasted amazing, the rice crackers came in a plastic packet like you were on a plane.

   I had forgotten how wonderful Taikun is. Honestly, it is the best sushi in Cayman.
