Food was fantastic across the board, but this place is just tired. It’s been in need of a full renovation for many years but I think with Bob’s and now Perry’s, it’s going to be tough to do enough business to justify the investment. Management was attentive and great. Service and food really are excellent here, it just needs a thorough cleaning and updating.

Our family of eight had Easter dinner at Silver Fox in Grapevine. We ordered from the Easter menu and all totally enjoyed their meal . The service was perfect as well. We typically eat at the Frisco restaurant, and everyone in Grapevine was well skilled like we are used to.

The place needs updating and it smells old and musty when you first walk in. The food was super tasty and our waitress was great! The pre dinner cocktails and service at the bar was also top notch. Not very crowded for a Saturday night so it was really quiet. We had a very nice time celebrating my friend's birthday.

Silver Fox gave us an elegant evening meal out. The mashed potatoes were delicious, our steaks were prepared well, and the extras that came with the meal were nice additions.

Food was great, service was perfect, very comfortable seating which allowed visiting at table. No noisy groups or crowds tonight. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

The Silver Fox had great, friendly, informative, timely service. The taste of our filets was superb. Sides were good & some were tasty,unique dishes. A bit pricey, but excellent food & service.

Had the Baseball Filet Mignon and it was excellent. Mac & Cheese very cheesy and smooth. Nice place. Get the Baseball Filet, trust me.

I've been to the Silver Fox in Frisco several times and made the stupid assumption that it would be the same. I was wrong. Was there on a Saturday night and the place was mostly empty. Food was ok but not even close to the Frisco location. The building is kind of dumpy and unimpressive. Won't be back.

We were there for our 22nd anniversary dinner. We don't dine out too often - perhaps twice per month - and very infrequently at high end restaurants like this. We will be at a restaurant of this price point only once per year.
To us, it was less than stellar. The service was great - no complaints. Waitress and staff were very attentive.
We had a scallops appetizer that was tasty. We ordered a filet and a lobster tail for dinner. The filet was good. The lobster tail was not - there was just no taste to it at all. The cream corn side was good. The mushroom side was just OK. Not a ton of flavor.
Quite frankly, we thought the whole experience was reminiscent of Steak & Ale. We even commented during the meal that it was a shame Steak & Ale went out of business because we enjoyed our meals there just as much as we did Silver Fox but at a fraction of the cost.
Again, nothing horrible. The meal was OK. We were just expecting more at this price point. Perhaps we built it up in our mind too much in advance of our outing. Your mileage may vary.

Steaks were cooked to perfection but the lobster was a big disappointment. Menu said it was cold water rock lobster and when asked, the waitress said it was from Australia but the tiny 1.5 - 2oz piece that arrived on the steak sure seemed like the usual tough and tasteless Caribbean lobster. Food temp could have been better but was warm enough to get by. Enjoyed a great bottle of wine and the Calamari appetizer and wedge salad were fantastic.

Incredible food from the bread all the way to the dessert at the end. Must trys are the pickles served with the bread, III Forks salad and the Mac & Cheese. We will be trying the Frisco location next.

Silver Fox Grapevine is my favorite steakhouse in the world! The food is second to none. The prices are great and the service is excellent! What more could you ask for?

The staff were all very friendly and the food was great but overpriced. I don’t mind paying top dollar when I feel like I have gotten my money’s worth, but I felt a little cheated when I got the bill.

We were celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. His best friends since grade school flew in from out of town to surprise him. I made the reservation and when they arrived at Silver Fox ahead of us, the hostess hearing the story gave us a private dining room at no cost. It made the dinner and surprise more special. The wait staff were very attentive. The meal was delicious. The chef came to make sure all was ok with us. Very special evening.

Went here for Valentines date with my wife, we really enjoyed it. Food was superb, nice and quiet, great cocktails and delightful service.

I believe if I remember correctly our waiter was Lander. He was absolutely awesome. Great service. Very helpful explaining the menu. Overall a really great experience, with amazing tasting food, and awesome waiter

First visit to this location. We chose the Valentine’s menu of a 6oz. Filet mignon and lobster tail with choice of III Forks salad or lobster bisque, and a chocolate mousse dessert. Our waitress was very personable and provided excellent service. Atmosphere was fairly quiet, as we were seated in a room off to the side. Price for the meal was a fabulous deal and we will definitely be back to this location!

Silver Fox is a little quieter than Kirby’s or Bob’s and the food and service is just as good.

We had a wonderful time and the food/service was awesome!

This was the first time I’ve ever eaten there. Doubt we will ever go back. I had the bone-in ribeye. It was on par with Outback Steakhouse. The Mac and Cheese was really good and the service was awesome.

The very worst thing was that the place smelled. Hard to describe, but it reminded me of a litter box. That hard to get past.

I really wanted to like this place, but when you drop $300 on a meal, you expect more.

Continue to enjoy the food & service. Never disappointed. The Maker's Mark Mushrooms are fantastic & we "must" have them each time we dine at Silver Fox.

I asked for my steak Medium and it came out red rare in the middle so they took it back to cook more. When it came back, it was literally charred black entirely on the outside and well done throughout. It also took so long for them to bring my steak back that the rest of my party was done eating their steaks by the time I got mine back. I have had good experiences there in the past so they must have got some new staff the night we went.

Great experience overall from greeter, server, assistance from others, manager stopped twice. Food for 2 with Valentine special was greater. Ticket total gave a burp.

Silver Fox is a nice, old fashioned looking steakhouse. The food is good. However, there are better options within 1 mile. Our server was very pleasant, but there is just something missing with the overall presentation of the restaurant. I am in the area often, and cannot say I would never go back, but again, there are much better options nearby.

Celebrated a great friend’s birthday. Food, service and ambulance was beyond expectations! We’ll be back!
