We went there for our 1st time . It was my Birthday dinner. My Steak was under cooked and chewy. Later that night when I got home I got a major upset stomach. I have had stomach problems now for 4 Days and counting. I gues I will have to go to the doctor. I heard not so good reviews from family and friends before I went. You never no untill you verify for your self. Never again .

The times that I have experienced Silver Fox, I have never been disappointed. The food is always great. The service is great, and for the type of atmosphere, the prices are normal. I would highly recommend Silver Fox for a special occasion.

Overall it was a great experience. Steak was ordered MR and came out rare. At least they made the mistake on the right side of the temp. Service great. Colorful plate and well designed menu. Great job!

We had a lovely meal......the salad and the filet mignon were wonderful.....the side dish of mushrooms was a bit dry,but still tasty. Beca provided wonderful service.
Noise from the bar was a bit much.....maybe if there was a glass divider, it would help muffle the sound.....

Fantastic as usual. Our server Jill was great and Dave came by our table a few times to ensure our meal was satisfactory. What can you say, this is what fine dining is supposed to be. Great food and great service.

First impression was actually a very good one. Went to the bar for drinks prior to being seated in dining room. Bartenders were VERY friendly and mixed a great martini as well. This was indeed the highlight of the night. Probably should have had a couple drinks in bar and went elsewhere.

Moved to the dining room which had a decent ambiance. Started by ordering a bottle of wine, but it took an unusually long time to arrive back at table. For an appetizer we ordered the tuna tartare which was ok, but lacking in flavor. Wife ordered the lobster bisque soup. Probably the worst lobster bisque either of us have ever tasted, having the consistency of water.

For our entree we both had steaks. My filet was slightly over cooked, but not enough to bother sending back. It was, however, a sodium bomb! Could only eat about half due to the amount of salt. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good, snap peas...meh, but we also added creamed spinach. Was nice to see it was fresh spinach and not frozen, but the “cream” had the same consistency as the soup...water. However, it sure wasn’t short on sodium either. Pretty much a common trend here, salt, salt and more salt.

We really tried to like this place, but no way we will ever be going back. Might possibly stop for a drink in the bar, but nothing beyond that.

We celebrate all of our special occasions there because - no suprises, always consistent.

My husband and I went for date night. It came highly recommended by friends. It had a romantic feel, dim lighting, elegant. The waiter Preston was very knowledgeable, thorough, and just the right amount of attentive. The food was incredible. We had a great evening and would highly recommend Silver Fox.

We had a reservation made for 8:30pm, we did not get sat at a table until 9pm. I thought the entire point of a reservation is to be sat the time of arrival? The hostess was not very friendly either. So around 8:55 she asks us if we would like to sit in a bar booth. She also explained that a table would not be ready anytime soon . I understand it was Valentine’s Day and they were busy but if that is the case you should not take reservations for that day . So we ended up sitting In the bar booth on Valentine’s Day.. my husband as well as me were both dressed very formal as well. Next topic our waitress.
She was amazing ! Her name is Hannah, and she really was outstanding! Made both me and my husband feel very comfortable! 5 star on service. Food was good, not the best I’ve ever had for the price . My fillet was over cooked but the sides were to die for . Yes I would go back to the silver fox, but for the price , and status of a restaurant that nice I really had my standards high. Honestly they really need to get there reservation agenda in order , or not use open table period.

Our Valentines dinner was wonderful. Timing was very well paced, thanks to our wonderful server. As always, our steaks were excellent. Silver Fox is our favorite prime steakhouse, and we will be back soon.

I have been going to the Silver Fox for 12 years. They were obviously not prepared for Valentine's Day. We arrived on time, was seated on time, 25 minutes later we got our drinks and bread. Our waiter was too busy trying to schmooze a party of 4 for a larger tip....he would visit their table 2-3 times while passing by us and not asking how we were doing or needed anything. The special was steak and lobster...sounds good but the lobster was cold and very mushy...the steak was good. The other items on the plate, mashed potatoes and green beans were ice cold. I guess our waiter decided not to bring them out for a while.

I write this with great hesitation because the Silver Fox has been a very nice place to go for special occasions in the past. But, after this experience I will not be returning. I think this was just a one time failure, but there are too many place out there that offer great service and great food.

Overall a really good experience on Valentine’s Day. From the valet to the hostesses to the waitress, all were outstanding. We joked around with the valet, the hostesses were very nice and our waitress was very attentive and personable. Two items could be improved especially during special occasions. The main dining area gets very loud during peak hours and the price for a couples meal was on the high side in my option. Otherwise the food was great, the people were outstanding, and the overall experience was as hoped.

The food and service were excellent. The steak, lobster and desert were outstanding.

We have dine at the Silver Fox a number of times and every time the food and the service has been has been excellent. We would highly recommend the Silver Fox to anyone who have not experience what a true Dining Experience.

There were 4 of us dining, originally we were seated at a table next to a young couple with a young child and a crying baby. I love children, I have 7 grandkids, but I did not want to sit next to a crying baby. The hostess was quick to move us to a booth when I expressed my concern. We had a delicious meal, but I do think the service was somewhat slow.

one bad thing, left credit card, silver fox hit if 5 times before I could get it cancelled, someone needs to look into that.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in FW. The food, service and atmosphere is always exceptional. I recommend valet because parking is limited if you don't want to walk. Unfortunately on this visit a table close to us brought a small child and baby. They did the best they could in keeping them quite. This is not a dining place for small children.

Seafood was sub par. Beef was chewy. Food on the whole was a huge disappointment especially for those prices.

Had a wonderful dinner celebrating my mother-in law's birthday. Service was excellent and everyone from the moment we entered to the final dessert were at our attention and making sure that we were good with everything. Would recommend this restaurant to other family and friends.

It was our first time dining at Silver Fox, and it was perfect. Table on time, perfect service, steaks were perfect. Quiet but not stuffy, relaxing, our steaks were tender and flavorful. We shared dessert, and it was perfectly decadent! We think it's our favorite now, and look forward to returning very soon. It's a special restaurant if you want a cut above and to pamper yourself a bit with others doing likewise. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. We often choose Silver Fox for the excellent food and wine selections. This latest visit was no exception. Our service was a touch under satisfying, in that a second cocktail was ordered but never delivered. We were not charged, so it was a moot point by the end of the evening, but it was still a lack of due diligence on the part of the wait staff.

Overall, its a great place for special occasions and excellent food.

Husband had chicken fried prime rib. Very fatty and full of gristle. I had filet mignon that was just ok. Just mediocre especially for the price.

Excellent service and meal as usual, our server was very attentive and the lobster & filet were prepared perfectly. We love coming here a few times a year.

The scallops were superb, done just right. The prime rib, while good, was not better than any of the less expensive steak restaurants. Our waitress Jill was highly informative and pleasant, although she seemed to be a tad stretched on her assignments as we had to wait for our dessert and our bill . A very nice spot to celebrate an anniversary or birthday as we did.

We enjoyed our birthday celebration the other evening in the bar. The steaks were perfectly cooked, sides delicious and dessert a treat! The HH specials on apps and drinks make this fine dining restaurant attractive for more than just special occasions. We will be back soon!

Loved our visit to Silver Fox. I found the service and food to be outstanding. Has all the elements of a fine steakhouse, but with a less pretentious atmosphere. Meals were prepared perfectly. Enjoyed our visit with the manager that came to our table to make sure things were going well.

Our waiter, Shawn was very attentive and we received excellent service. We will be back again.
