We were surprised at the food being so bland, the atmosphere so dark, and the cost so excessive for what we received. No salad or soup, appetizers and deserts EXTRA, and the food we did get was far from exceptional. We felt the restaurant didn't warrant our drive to Ft. Worth, or live up to the advertised excellence of the restaurant. Let's just say we expected more, and paid for more, than we felt we received. We realize there are less restaurants to choose from on a holiday, but those who DO stay open and DO charge us for the privilege to eat out for what is supposed to be a great experience, shouldn't take advantage of customers, just because they can.

Thankful for such a wonderful dining experience at Silver Fox. The Thanksgiving meal was so delicious. Our other guests had steak and reported it was also delicious. The Brussels sprouts and potatoes made excellent sides. We had wine, an old fashioned, espresso martini and beer. Great drink menu. The restaurant is well laid out and the waitstaff were polite and very quick to respond. We will be back.

Steaks were excellent. Service was great. Brussel sprouts were not good. They were a bit undercooked and no seasoning. We were excited for the bread pudding, but it was very disappointing. Wonderful ambience. Just not impressed with sides or dessert.

Our first experience at Silver Fox and it did not disappoint. Food and service were exceptional. Our steaks were tender, juicy, full of flavor and perfect temperature. Wendy, our server was very friendly, professional and welcoming…she never rushed or smothered us. Her attention and service were perfectly timed. Seating was comfortable with notable privacy at the table, even among other tables around us. If you want a very nice dining experience at place that’s comfortable and friendly with exceptional food and service, Silver Fox will deliver. Highest recommendation!!

I have been going to the Ft Worth, TX location since it opened. I have to admit I have not been as frequent since Covid. Last night our food took exactly 1 hour to come from the time we gave the waiter our order. The waiter looked frazzled and the bar was undermanned. To be perfectly honest I was embarrassed for you and disappointed in the portion of steaks. My out of town guest were also a little disappointed. I will be going back to Capital Grille & B&B Butcher in the future !

Our food was excellent. However, in general we were rushed throughout our dinner. Water was served without someone asking our preference, which was to have bottled water. Bottled water was brought to us when we had a chance to ask as the person who served us tap water just threw it down and fled. Then after we had our salads, our forks were taken and not replaced. Our main course was served without the forks being brought to us. We tried to flag someone down and three servers/bus persons standing about five feet away from us either didn’t see us waive our hands at them because they were too busy chatting to each other or they were ignoring us. I had to get up out of the booth and walk over to them to get their attention and ask for the forks. Then when we’re not even done, corn and potatoes still on the table, still chewing food, a person starts to take plates away while simultaneously asking if we are done. Had to quickly swallow my food and tell her to stop, we were not done. Our main waiter never told us his name, so can’t tell you who are server was. However, he was efficient and that was about it.

We had dinner at Silver Fox to commemorate a very special event and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our server, Madeline, was so courteous, thorough, and kind. The restaurant gave us a delicious slice of chocolate cake to celebrate. The ambiance was perfect- not loud, dim so the party can relax. The steak was superb, and we loved the variety of the additions. The mushrooms and mashed potatoes were wonderful. Even the bread for the table was soft inside and perfectly hard on the outside. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we will return. Thanks again, Madeline!

My husband and I had dinner for our 10 year anniversary, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience and food. The steaks, both filets, were cooked perfectly. The creme brulee was larger than we expected, which was a nice surprise. Our server, Mariah, was excellent and very attentive. We will definitely visit again when in the Fort Worth area.

We had the salmon and the filet The salmon was too dry on top and lacked the flavor. Filet was good not great. The mash potatoes were not the best nor was the cream spinach. Sure miss Saul in the kitchen.
