We bumped into Silo driving around Germantown and booked it on a whim. The food and drinks were great. Prices reasonable. Stay attentive and friendly. Notable are the beef kabobs and the bourbon drink!
I would tell friends visiting Nashville to go here.
Good food. But the drip coffee served with brunch is terrible
Delicious food. Innovative combinations. Many great starters for sharing with great specialty cocktails. If you love hot sauce, be sure to buy a bottle of theirs! We told the server we loved it and she told us we could buy it. Not a gimmick, no label, just great hot sauce. Went to Silo on the recommendation of a friend - now I will recommend to others. A great night!
Delicious vegetarian tamales, even the carnevores liked them. Perfect serving size.
The chocolate bombe, too rich for a single serving but perfect shared, was a lovely end to the meal
Great food and wine. We paced ourselves and shared small plates. Food arrived quickly and server was great anticipating exactly what we needed and when but did not hover at table.
I visited SILO for my birthday dinner while on a trip to Nashville. I loved the ambiance of SILO and our waitress was incredible! We shared a lot of small plates in my group and they each were presented with purpose and elegance. Delicious!
What a great venue and a great meal! We had delicious ricotta dumplings. They were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. We will definitely visit again.
Awesome food. I loved the truffle fries. Beautiful presentation and friendly staff.
I met a friend for dinner and we had a wonderful dinner. Our service was excellent and each of our dishes was quite enjoyable. The ricotta dumplings were particularly good.
love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Went to TPAC
Brought some friends who were visiting on a week night and had a wonderful time! Food was fresh and unique and absolutely delicious. Couldn’t order a bad thing on the menu. Don’t forget about their desserts!
The food was good but the menu selection was too narrow. There was nothing bad about my experience but the SILO is not a place I will go back to.
Excellent food and prices. A definite return destination!
Great space, great location. Good food, though lacking variety/menu change after several trips there in last several months. Bar is well done- good drink/alcohol selection- beer selection is not keeping pace with other establishments in Town. Cocktails well executed. Server pleasant though bereft of ANY semblance of enthusiasm about being there (?bad night). When All’s said /done, will likely return at some point.
Disappointingly slow service.
Great food! Slow service.
A group met for Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. Seated on time with a reservation and server was top notch! Food was awesome and there was a good variety for everyone at the table. we did a sharing tasting of the deviled eggs, pop tarts and beignets. I had the crab cake eggs benedict. Everyone loved it and planned to go for dinner the next time around!
Creative menu and pleasing ambiance . We had a very good meal and an excellent server.
My girlfriend and I went for our own day after Valentine's dinner, able to skip the crowds. The atmosphere was nice, the service was good (sidenote our server did us a solid and gave us the Happy Hour prices on our drinks even though we weren't sitting at the bar, which I appreciated) and the food was really good with a special nod to the tasty brussel sprouts and the hand mashed potato side dish that accompanied our steaks. If I had anything negative to say about the food it would be that the portion size on the steaks was a little on the small side, but the sauce served with them was fantastic as was the wilted greens. We will be back!
Great experience all around. It’s the first time I’ve tried deviled eggs and actually enjoyed them.
Always the best in town!! They thrive on the high quality of there cuisine and consistency of service. This I a trait that has unfortunately become lost on most of the towns restaurants. It is always a pleasure to dine at silo and an even bigger pleasure to recommend it to others. Take my advice, dive deep into the small plates!
The flavors were great! Drinks during happy hour are the way to go!
Took my wife their to celebrate Valentines a little early. Semi Dark but lit enough to see your meal and your date. Vegetables were outstanding, steak was good, beer selection is a bit limited but had some interesting cocktails for the lady.
A perfect place to celebrate Valentine's Day early! The waiter's recommended dishes were really good - ricotta dumplings and the date jam glazed pork belly. I tried the trout and my husband tried the steak mains. Both very good!
The food was pretty good, but the service was sub-par. Our server disappeared for long periods of time, we refilled our own wine glasses, and we were never given an opportunity to order an additional bottle of wine or sparkling water.
Great food great atmosphere
Excellent brunch all around! Prefect for groups
Ok Silo, you had me at $5 Mimosas. They serve them in full sized champagne flutes not those tiny ones other brunch spots serve them in. We ate the huevos rancheros-the black eyed peas were a great twist instead of pintos beans-and the skillet which was pretty basic and delicious. Will be back for sure.
It was great love he food had the quail.
Great experience late on a Friday night. Food was delicious. Gotta get the catfish fingers! Great selection of mocktails too!
Food and service was outstanding. Looking forward to a return visit.
Can't wait to go back! One of the best meals I have ever had in Nashville.
Wow! Super nice server who was very helpful with some of the things we'd never heard of. We enjoyed lots of tasty small plates some very tasty cocktails. We'll be back for sure.
What can I say? We had a fabulous experience and the space is beautiful! The menu is creative with lots of little plates for sharing. Didn't have room to try any entrees but will be back for sure as the table next to us raved about the bone-in pork chop. The deviled eggs were creative and original, as were the lamb meatballs and cheese curd croquettes. Ricotta dumplings were amazing as was the chocolate mousse dessert. By far the best restaurant in the Germantown area.
We were visiting from out of town and found this great neighborhood gem in Germantown! Sunday bunch was good but would even better w a make your own bloody mary bar. Their bloody marys were plain compared to other popular sunday brunches but overall a yummy brunch selection to choose from!
My only complaint is that we weren't seated until 40 minutes after our reservation. However, the restaurant is small, so I can't fault the staff for this.
Great date spot; 4 small plates was plenty of food for two people.
The ricotta dumplings and the pork belly small plates were the BEST!
Food was fantastic! I have never had anything quiet like the ricotta dumplings, i would say that is a MUST try!
