Creative menu and pleasing ambiance . We had a very good meal and an excellent server.
My girlfriend and I went for our own day after Valentine's dinner, able to skip the crowds. The atmosphere was nice, the service was good (sidenote our server did us a solid and gave us the Happy Hour prices on our drinks even though we weren't sitting at the bar, which I appreciated) and the food was really good with a special nod to the tasty brussel sprouts and the hand mashed potato side dish that accompanied our steaks. If I had anything negative to say about the food it would be that the portion size on the steaks was a little on the small side, but the sauce served with them was fantastic as was the wilted greens. We will be back!
Always the best in town!! They thrive on the high quality of there cuisine and consistency of service. This I a trait that has unfortunately become lost on most of the towns restaurants. It is always a pleasure to dine at silo and an even bigger pleasure to recommend it to others. Take my advice, dive deep into the small plates!
The flavors were great! Drinks during happy hour are the way to go!
Took my wife their to celebrate Valentines a little early. Semi Dark but lit enough to see your meal and your date. Vegetables were outstanding, steak was good, beer selection is a bit limited but had some interesting cocktails for the lady.
A perfect place to celebrate Valentine's Day early! The waiter's recommended dishes were really good - ricotta dumplings and the date jam glazed pork belly. I tried the trout and my husband tried the steak mains. Both very good!
The food was pretty good, but the service was sub-par. Our server disappeared for long periods of time, we refilled our own wine glasses, and we were never given an opportunity to order an additional bottle of wine or sparkling water.
Great food great atmosphere
Ok Silo, you had me at $5 Mimosas. They serve them in full sized champagne flutes not those tiny ones other brunch spots serve them in. We ate the huevos rancheros-the black eyed peas were a great twist instead of pintos beans-and the skillet which was pretty basic and delicious. Will be back for sure.
It was great love he food had the quail.
