Had a reservation at 8 for a party of 5. Where they wanted to seat us the people did not leave. They sat several parties of 4 before us and finally sat us at 8:45. They did give us some drinks complimentary- but affected our evening cause of delay and other plans. Food was good once we finally ate. Not sure I would go back.
We were seated next to a drunk table of ten. That was fine except that our waitress was preoccupied with them. Our waitress took our order but returned twice to get it again because she couldn’t remember it. She never asked us for a drink order. We received our appetizers fairly quickly but waited at least 30 minutes for our dinner order. Both were highly vinegared. The vegetarian tamales were not good and the summer salad was not good either. Too much vinegar and the collard tamale was very uninspired. We waited at least 20 more minutes to try to catch the attention of this wAitress and had to ask for the bill. It was a very disappointing experience and we will not be back. I have dined on two other occasions years back at silo. This was a deal breaker.
Very small menu. Prices are reasonable. Food is average and the restaurant tries to be unique with its food, but it does not make it. We ordered a side order of vegetables were not fully cooked. Potatoes in there vegetables were not cooked. We mentioned it to the waitress and she said nothing.
Good food and friendly service.
Loved , loved , loved Silo!!! Food and service were exceptional!!
Extremely happy with my choice of this restaurant to share with my family and friends. Great location, food was delicious, the drink menu was great, and we had an excellent server, despite the challenge of a large party. Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, attentive service and amazing food! Such a wonderful little spot!!
Very impressed with our service, especially for such a large group of us!
Our service at Silo was outstanding! We had a party of six and did not have to wait as all to be greeted and get our orders taken. Anytime we needed anything our server Rebekah was on top of it right away. Everyone was quite impressed with their food as well, I would definitely check out their brunch if you get a chance.
What a great place! We were visiting Nashville and decide to have Sunday Brunch at Silo! Great food!!! Anyone visiting Nashville need to take a trip to Silo!
We are from Portland, Oregon, another great food city and we were pleasantly surprised to find such a rare gem in Silo. Our friends joined us at the restaurant and we enjoyed ten different plates - each bite better than the last. We especially enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was supportive of lgbtq as we definitely want to spend our dining dollars in inclusive establishments. Thank you for the amazing meal Silo. And, Nashville, we’ll be back❤️

We took our guests to Silo for brunch. Everything our group of six ordered was delicious, and we enjoyed the eclectic ingredient mixes in some dishes. The hot chicken sliders were fantastic, too. Our server Emma was delightful.
Awesome. Food was amazing. Drink selection was amazing.
Silo is going downhill unfortunately. For the past three years it has been a fairly reliable good night out in our neighborhood. However the last two visits over the past month were letdowns and don’t think I will be returning. The cost is not justified anymore. Very lackluster service, cold food, wait staff standing around talking- and worst of all fruit flies and gnats rivaling a dive bar in New York City. My love affair with silo has come to an end. I don’t write bad reviews often but this one is deserved.
I took out one of my friends who I had not taken out for a meal yet and Silo was such a great place for a meal. I had a great experience overall.
Menu was limited and preparation of dishes and their quality varied widely (temperatures for steaks were inconsistent). Appetizers were better than main courses.
For a Saturday night the restaurant was fairly quiet and not busy.
Had a great brunch, service was great as was the food. Very quite good place to get together with friends, and catch up!
The owner was very responsive about reservations.
The restaurant is very small but has a private room and outdoor seating areas. It would have been nice to be seated in the private room and close the doors to the noise. It was very loud even though it was not busy.
We had a group of 12 and most of us ordered the bottomless mimosas. The service was extremely slow on everything. It took a long time to get drinks, refills, or food.
I would definitely order more appetizers to share to avoid the long wait. I would recommend Silo for a cocktail at the bar or a small group of 2-4.
If you are in Germantown it is a great place to sit outside and people watch...but if visiting from out of town it isn’t worth the long wait time.
Fantastic dinner with the wife. Atmosphere was very inviting and the service and recommendation was outstanding. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience in a great area of Nashville.
The table where we sat was very cramped and in a corner. I had the pork chop and it was well over cooked. With the sauce it made it worth eating.
The waitress we had was fantastic.
Very good place to grab some small, shareable plates. Nice selection of meats and cheeses. Lots of great bourbon to choose from too!
Small selection of good to very good entrees, loud environment, fair service. Conveniently close to First Tennessee park (walk) and short drive into downtown.
We had Saturday brunch and sat on the patio. Food was tasty, shared plates of scones and waffles and potatoes ordered maint items of eggs benedict and omlettes, fritatas. good food
The food was great and so was the atmosphere. The portion sizes of food were perfect for the price you paid. They had great drinks as well!
Small restaurant with just a few options but it was very good. If we come back to Nashville, we would come again.
Went there for Father’s Day brunch with my hubby. Food (large portion) and drinks (tasty) were great and very reasonably prices.
Ok - She: pick a Father's Day brunch restaurant - He: no question, SILO's - why: great food, atmosphere, ambiance and top notch service. For Brunch let me recommend a starter of "killer" scratch made mini-scones (today's apple was outstanding) - follow that with SILO “skillet”-home fries steak tips, 2 fried eggs, topped with house-made sausage gravy - all in a bowl. The sausage gravy alone is so good u can eat it by itself. For a Sunday morning drink, how about a Seelbach (bourbon, orange liqueur, angostura bitters, sparkling wine) - freshen you up in a minute. Oh, and my wife ordered fresh Spring Salad topped with two perfectly prepared poached eggs.
Other than all of the above, the additional "ingredient" that makes a great dining experience is the overall service provided by the employees - the ones that greet you, seat you, recommend suggestions and provide attentive service. This "ingredient" Silo has mastered, so hats off today to Emma (our server) and Kaytlin (Silo's hostess) two individuals that made a "great brunch" an "extraordinary brunch."
Great restaurant with good food and service.
The food was delicious! So much attention to every detail. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful evening!
Our first time at Silo! Thought we had to wait a little long for the food, but man was it worth it!! Delicious! Healthy! Limited menu but we tried at least four different things and shared (there is plenty) and everything was great! We will definitely return.
Great meal as usual. Clientele is getting a little casual for the price but it was also early bird/happy hour time of day. Food and service quality continues to be the best in Germantown.
Bottomless mimosa brunch and great service! Recommend the huevos ranchero or the skillet. This will be my new brunch placs.
Fantastic food! I can't say enough about how delicious our meals were. The servers and wait staff were very sweet and patient. My first date here was a great success with this place!
Good food. Good service. Did not disappoint.
Adam, our waiter, and Michael at the bar, gave my group and I a lovely dining experience. The food and drinks were top notch. I will definitely be coming back to Silo. I need to try all of the other delicious looking items on the menu!
The only downside was the room felt subzero and all of us were shivering for the first 30 minutes, but we ordered more cocktails and evened out by dessert.
Great varied menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Loved the salad dressing!
It is difficult for us to be impressed by service, knowledge, food AND atmosphere. SILO had all 4 for our dinner experience Saturday June 1st. Our bartender was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about his bourbons and our server, Rebecca, did a fantastic job. We will be regulars :)
Amazing! We loved our server and the brunch was excellent
From the start, it was perfect. Not fussy, but classy. Waitstaff had a lovely sense of humor, Logan, yes, you! His recommendations were right on target too! Food was appropriately sized, plated nicely and ohhhh, so delicious. Nice wine list too. Going back!
