Silo was great! We went to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The food was phenomenal and the service was excellent. I would recommend to anyone!
Excellent place to have a romantic dinner on date night!!
This was our first time, food was very good and service (Brendon) was outstanding. My wife and I will definitely go back.
Great food and atmosphere - one of my favorite for a night out !
The risotto wasn't good, very expensive for the taste of all the food
Our server Jeff provided excellent customer service and kept on top of everything.
First visit and I’ll be back. Small menu but excellent choices. The mussels app was great. We each had the specials that night. My broccolini was a little over done, a little too crunchy from the sauté pan and the portions were a bit small for the price. Aside from that it was very good. The rack of lamb with mint chimichurri was fantastic as was the halibut.
We split the mousse with caramel and chantilly topping which was excellent.
Good food, good service. Please consider more comfortable chairs in any updates you might try.
Shirley is always fantastic! Octavio was friendly & took great care of us also. The seared sea scallops & chicken fried oysters are our favorites. We order them every visit. It would be nice if they did SOMETHING for a birthday. I don’t think a complimentary dessert would hurt a restaurant that we regularly spend between $100-$150 per visit at for 2 people. (We are really bad at remembering to make reservations. I remembered this time bc it was my husbands birthday) Regardless of that, this is still our favorite restaurant in San Antonio. We have loved Silo on Austin Hwy for 20 years.
Lunch and it was great.
First time at this location. Service was slower than normal but the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was on par with the 1604 location and as good as we expected.
I have been here before for a graduation dinner celebration and everything was fantastic. The only reason I was not totally happy with the experience was that we were placed so close to the kitchen. We were a table of six and it didn't appear there were any other tables available for six people. There was some open space where they could have moved us further away from the kitchen if even only a couple of feet
Excellent neighborhood restaurant in San Antonio. Impeccable service and food is consistently high quality and served to perfection. We love Silos.
The main courses were disappointing, compared to previous visits. My asparagus was tough, and the beef had no real flavor other than the meat itself, even with a mushroom dressing. My wife's shrimp and grits seemed dry, as if it needed more sauce. The service and desserts were excellent. We received complimentary glasses of Champagne for our anniversary, which was nice.
Good as always -- though it seems to be getting a little pricier over time and the fare not exceptional this time around. Overall, still one of our favorite fine dining options in San Antonio
Silos is an amazing restaurant and we love going there especially for a special occasion. Will go again and highly recommend it.
The area was a bit loud to have conversation that was easy to hear. The portions were quite small for the amount of money that we spent, and the fact that it was a pre fixe menu. More vegan options would be appreciated.
With that said, the food was delicious and I appreciated the variety of fruit offered to be put into the water.
Zia was a fantastic waitress and the tenderloin filet is the best tasting, most flavorful of any in town. It beats all the top steakhouses. Even the Valet is the most courteous.
Wonderful atmosphere, very nice menu choices. Server seemed a bit reluctant to ask the kitchen staff to make any small modification to an order, or to add to it. For a place of this distinction, I would like to think that my money and patronage is somewhat valuable since guests are the reason these people have their jobs.
The food was fabulous as always! Debbie is our favorite server and did an outstanding job as usual. This is our "go to" special occasion restaurant as well as our favorite "I need a break" place to go.
Everything was excellent except for one thing, the reservation with Opentable never showed up! Good thing I called ahead of time to confirmed the reservation, reservation could not be found! Thanks
We were a group of 4 looking for good conversation along with predictably super food but the dining room had one large group of happy people all talking loudly and making the room uncharacteristically noisy. When the staff couldn't provide a quiet table, they moved us into the back room of Nosh where we ordered from the Silo menu. Service was beyond excellent and the food really, really good!
Every bite was delicious and the service was excellent!
First time there, definitely pleased! Food was excellent, very reasonably priced, not too busy. Classy level was just enough, not pompous, but definitely higher end than many options in this part of town. Even for the Alamo Heights crowd, it’s a great choice.
I went in to celebrate a friend's birthday. The service was wonderful. The server was prompt polite friendly. The food was delicious. I ordered the soup/sandwich my friend ordered the duck egg roll and the salmon. The atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely recommend this to friends. I would definitely go back.
Dinner was delicious. Our waiter Jeff was great--gave the perfect amount of attention and suggestions. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Had a Groupon, which helped some.
Service and food were both excellent. I consider this one of the best overall restaurants in San Antonio.
Food and service were excellent as always.
Atmosphere is very speak easy-esq. Romantic with amazing food.
We gathered for a birthday celebration, each bringing different palates and preferences to the table. The food was splendid and the evening lovely. Thank you for making our celebration so memorable.
Great food, service, and reasonably priced.
We go there for all special occasions and
take relatives and guests there
We are in town visiting for a last minute birthday celebration and wanted a nice dinner out. The food didn’t disappoint. The chicken fried oysters are well flavored and cooked perfectly. The duck spring rolls are amazing. I had the “Flintstone-like” pork shank which is delicious. Wine prices are very reasonable. The only downside was the bar on the first level was a bit noisy at times, but that was likely just bad timing with March Madness. Would dine here frequently if I lived in San Antonio.
Silo Elevated Cuisine was wonderful as usual. I ordered my favorite...chicken fried oysters!
I had the CIDER BRAISED KUROBUTA PORK SHANK everything on that plate from the main dish to the sides was outstanding and the wine we had Felice Moscato D Asti was the best wine i tasted..I went and bought a bottle the next day..we will be back
Prix fixed menu is very good value
Everyone in my party was very happy with their meals. Our waitress was very good. Only constructive comment I would add is that the wait staff could have been more attentive to refilling water but after one ask for a refill we never dropped below glass half full again. Also the young lady tending bar that night made me a great Beefeaters Martini so I had 3. Thanks. LK
Great atmosphere. Food was exquisite. Service was great. Our server had a gewst knowledge of the menu. Will definitely be back.
Always great food and service.
First visit and will definitely be back. Service and food were amazing
Good , food was great and fried oysters rocked.
