Great food and professional, courteous staff. Location is okay
We have been to silo’s several times . The food and service is outstanding. We look forward to going again soon!

I always like the seen there. Good to enjoy the company you are with in a nice spot.
Great food, nice setting, okay location
Great food, great experience
Our server Daniella did an amazing job taking care of us for our first anniversary. It felt great in the dim lighting, the ambiance set the mood for an amazing paired with delicious food and finely crafted cocktails. We will be back!
Service - outstanding. Ambience - outstanding. Appetizers (duck spring rolls, and seared tuna) - excellent. Entrees - shrimp and grits - gritty grits, sauce lacked flavor, needed seasoning. Crab cake - poor value, again, very under seasoned. Deserts - very good (raspberry sorbet and chocolate mousse.) Six glasses of wine for the 4 of us, $270 including tip. Given the less than stunning mains, it wasn’t the best value.
One of our favorite date night places!
Silo is one our favorite restaurants. Convenient, excellent food,, service and setting. We will return.
Always exceptional. We enjoy the 'elevated' cuisine and service. A great place to celebrate!
Silos never disappoints! We always receive top notch service, excellent food and great atmosphere. We always recommend them to our family and friends.
The food at Silo is consistently good - have been enjoying meals there for several years. There is a good mix of old favorites with special additions. Preparations tend to be imaginative but straight forward so that nothing is overdone with ingredients. Service is always pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere varies with the size of the crowd at the time. This time it was pleasantly calm and easy as the restaurant was not full.
No special occasion jut a night out for s wonderful dinner.
Begin with the chicken fried oysters, you won’t regret
Delicious food, phenomenal service. Will be back!!
It was very good as always!! The whole staff seemed to work together well and made the experience a very pleasant one!
Great food, great service, & great atmosphere. Try it you’ll love it!
The food was great and my party and I left with smiling faces.
Food and Service were great just to much noise from the bar below. Side note, be aware if you have food allergies, make sure that all the waitstaff know of them. We informed our waiter of someone at our table with a severe food allergy to aged cheese and a different server brought a bread with cheese baked into it to the table. Other than that minor issue we had a great experience and will return.
This was our first time a SILO and we had a very nice meal. The food was excellent; I had the lamb chops. Service was quite good; attentive but not intrusive.
Silo was great! We went to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The food was phenomenal and the service was excellent. I would recommend to anyone!
Excellent place to have a romantic dinner on date night!!
This was our first time, food was very good and service (Brendon) was outstanding. My wife and I will definitely go back.
Great food and atmosphere - one of my favorite for a night out !
The risotto wasn't good, very expensive for the taste of all the food
Our server Jeff provided excellent customer service and kept on top of everything.
First visit and I’ll be back. Small menu but excellent choices. The mussels app was great. We each had the specials that night. My broccolini was a little over done, a little too crunchy from the sauté pan and the portions were a bit small for the price. Aside from that it was very good. The rack of lamb with mint chimichurri was fantastic as was the halibut.
We split the mousse with caramel and chantilly topping which was excellent.
Good food, good service. Please consider more comfortable chairs in any updates you might try.
Shirley is always fantastic! Octavio was friendly & took great care of us also. The seared sea scallops & chicken fried oysters are our favorites. We order them every visit. It would be nice if they did SOMETHING for a birthday. I don’t think a complimentary dessert would hurt a restaurant that we regularly spend between $100-$150 per visit at for 2 people. (We are really bad at remembering to make reservations. I remembered this time bc it was my husbands birthday) Regardless of that, this is still our favorite restaurant in San Antonio. We have loved Silo on Austin Hwy for 20 years.
Lunch and it was great.
First time at this location. Service was slower than normal but the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was on par with the 1604 location and as good as we expected.
I have been here before for a graduation dinner celebration and everything was fantastic. The only reason I was not totally happy with the experience was that we were placed so close to the kitchen. We were a table of six and it didn't appear there were any other tables available for six people. There was some open space where they could have moved us further away from the kitchen if even only a couple of feet
Excellent neighborhood restaurant in San Antonio. Impeccable service and food is consistently high quality and served to perfection. We love Silos.
The main courses were disappointing, compared to previous visits. My asparagus was tough, and the beef had no real flavor other than the meat itself, even with a mushroom dressing. My wife's shrimp and grits seemed dry, as if it needed more sauce. The service and desserts were excellent. We received complimentary glasses of Champagne for our anniversary, which was nice.
Good as always -- though it seems to be getting a little pricier over time and the fare not exceptional this time around. Overall, still one of our favorite fine dining options in San Antonio
Silos is an amazing restaurant and we love going there especially for a special occasion. Will go again and highly recommend it.
The area was a bit loud to have conversation that was easy to hear. The portions were quite small for the amount of money that we spent, and the fact that it was a pre fixe menu. More vegan options would be appreciated.
With that said, the food was delicious and I appreciated the variety of fruit offered to be put into the water.
Zia was a fantastic waitress and the tenderloin filet is the best tasting, most flavorful of any in town. It beats all the top steakhouses. Even the Valet is the most courteous.
Wonderful atmosphere, very nice menu choices. Server seemed a bit reluctant to ask the kitchen staff to make any small modification to an order, or to add to it. For a place of this distinction, I would like to think that my money and patronage is somewhat valuable since guests are the reason these people have their jobs.
