Birthday. Great service and food.
Painfully slow service
I always like this restaurant and this time was no exception. I had a fish called Ono (Wahoo). The name means "good to eat" and it was. My wife had the crab cake starter which was plenty.
Be careful with the "special" drinks they serve them in glasses that have holes in them, they keep getting empty ;)
We really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here Friday evening, and the service was phenomenal. However the chicken fried oyster appetizer tasted a bit bland and although my steak was delicious, was still a bit too rare for a medium temperature, and for having a reservation scheduled for over a week it would have been nice not to sit near the bathroom hallway.
I enjoyed Silo's on 1604. The food was delicious. And being that it was my first time, I was truly pleased. My friend and I get together once a month to try new restaurants and this was my pick. Glad I made this choice. Plan on bringing my partner here. I know she would love the atmosphere and food. Thanks to David, our server, for making my first time enjoyable.
Excellent dining, highly recommended!!
Fantastic dinner and for the quality and level of service a great place to go. All aspects of the meal and service were top notch. Will absolutely be back!
Silo is a gem. Fantastic food and drink offerings. Nice wine list and cocktail offerings. Our favorite celebratory spot!
Food was excellent, but waiter would leave us sitting there for long periods, and we were there when it first opened for dinner.
Food was good for the most part, as was the service and pace of the meal. Exceptions: we were never served the grits we ordered and desserts were average.
Waitstaff was very knowledgeable, extremely important with food allergies.
My oysters we're a little inconsistent, but that may have been due to after effects of hurricane Harvey?
Prix Fix menu options nice if there early.
Stopped in a late lunch and what I wanted was a Spinach salad & a Crab cake appetizer. But then my server recommended that I order them together. He explains that the chef could put the Crab Cake on top of my salad. It was perfect & delicious. Highly recommend this place, they never disappoint. I will be back.
Was very nice but I would prefer Laurie to take care of our table. She spoiled use when we were in the time before.
Food was excellent and the ambiance very nice. Well worth the visit.
Third time eating at Silo Elevated and this visit was disappointing on several levels. Service started out good but server was also assigned a large party in a private room and evidently they were demanding so we did not get the level of service we usually receive at this restaurant. Cocktails and appetizer/salad were good. Husbands beef tenderloin was tough and not cooked to the doneness he had requested. Crabcake was good but the accompanying Creole Dirty Rice overwhelmed the crab.
Dessert souffle was undercooked and still completely liquid in the center. Coconut Mousse Pie had delicious filling and a crust that was almost impossible to cut with a fork.
Not sure we will return.
This was our second time here and I thought was excellent both times. We will return for sure!
Wasn't very comfortable, food was good but definitely not for the price. Too expensive for a restaurant like this. Looks fancier than it felt. I recommend Perry's, Bohanans, or Eddie V's in Austin.
Great food great service
I have dined at this location of Silo 3 times and my first two were amazing, this time was underwhelming. It was restaurant week and we had the chef's choice and it was just ok. The server knew nothing about pairing wines nor did she ask anyone more knowledgeable to assist. Even with the prix fix menu we spent over 150$ for two and it just wasn't worth it.
