Excellent service with attentive and professional servers. Food was amazing in presentation and taste. Highly recommended.
My husband and I went for our Anniversary and it was half price off wine. It was a Monday evening. I ordered the beet and arugula salad. It was the most amazing salad. My husband loves their spinach salad. I had the shrimp and grits which was so tasty.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. My wife's fish was perfect and I had rack of lamb cooked to perfection. It was a great experience!
Consistently good food, service, and ambiance.
A favorite that we go to frequently. It is one of the few very good dependable quality restaurants in San Antonio
The food was amazing. Excellent quality, excellent flavor, excellent plating. My wife had the roast chicken and the Jus was so good it elevated the fairly simple dish to a new level of excellence. I had the pan seared red fish with Israeli couscous with roasted tomatoes and lump crab meat which was amazingly creamy and rich.
I regret to say that the food was a mixed experience last night. Silo has always been a favorite of ours but this bad experience may change that.
The salads were good. It was the shrimp and grits entree one of us had that was terrible. The shrimp were over cooked and were not fresh. Very disappointed. I did not make an issue of this during dinner so as not to ruin the evening.
With a miss like this I am wondering if Silo is slipping.
Everything about this place is exceptional. Ambience is beautiful, exceptional service, and of course, outstanding food. Pork shank is a must, and the scallops are to die for. Already planning our next visit!
I always have good experience when I come to Silo for either brunch or dinner. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent.
Horrible food, not good service. They are clearly phoning it in at this point.
Great food and service. It was on a Tuesday, so maybe that’s the reason for a slight lack of ambiance. We loved it. Food was awesome. Service was as awesome as the food.
When we booked our reservation, we were asked if it was for a special occasion. We said it was for a birthday but there was no acknowledgement of that fact at any time during the meal. Not sure why they asked. Other than that, the experience was, as usual, very good. The food has always been excellent.
We were early for our reservation and they were still able to sit us right away. Great sever and our food was delicious. Definitely will return
Excellent service and the food was so savory! Enjoyed the long eve!
I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience for my birthday. We arrived a little early but were sat right away. The service and food were excellent and we will definitely be back!
The Restaurant week menu was excellent and the wine pairings were devine! Was seated next to a quad of ladies who were obviously celebrating an occasion and enjoyed a loud guffaw from time to time. But overall, a wonderful dining experience.
My husband and I went for a birthday celebration during restaurant week. We chose the fried oyster appetizer, pork chop and chocolate mousse as our selections. Oysters were small and a little chewy, but nice presentation and good flavor. Pork chop was very good as was the dessert. We had the best waitress, Sylvia. She exceeded our expectations with superb service. She even brought us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our upcoming anniversary. All in all, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.
We had a very nice lunch there. The restaurant was mostly full but the noise level was low which we like very much. We both had the prix fixe which were excellent and the service was very professional. We’ll definitely be back.
We dined here during Restaurant Week, wonderful menu. Highly recommend.
Fantastic first visit to Silo on 1604 as part of Culinaria week! Food and ambiance were awesome. Will definitely be back...need to experience every item on this menu!!
Anniversary date and it was exceptional! Food was on point and the service was great. Thanks Silo!
Food was very good. Little pricey.
Everything was excellent. Pretty place, too. Great value when compared to what you get at other restaurants. Glad we have this fine restaurant in our city. Ron & Lydia Jay
Great ambiance, amazing food. We had a wonderful time.
Restaurant Week was a good time to go to the Silo.
What a delightful Monday night dinner at Silo’s 1604. The dinner on the special Restaurant Week menu was outstanding and I am very glad i took advantage of the offer. The choices were outstanding and I had an excellent waitress. If you happen to like fried oysters, Silo’s have some of the best in town. For my entree I selected the pork chop with mushroom Madeira sauce and braised greens and cheese grits. This was a delicious combination and cooked perfectly. The portion of pork shop was so generous that I finished the meat for lunch the next day. For dessert the raspberry and lemon sorbets hit the spot. I definitely would go back and enjoy the exact same selections.
The food was very bland... everything from the cold Avocado soup which should not have even been on the menu. It was like eating a cold bland bowl of cream of guacamole soup.
I sent it back and tried the spinach salad. The idea was ok, but poorly executed. Because the dressing was so scarce, the salad’s ingredients did not merry well at all.
My main course should have been a no-brainer...I ordered the sirloin strip with mashed potatoes. Where do I begin? The sirloin was over cooked, should’ve been rare and it lacked no flavor of seasoning...just chargrilled meat. The ultimate let down was the brown reduction... it was SWEET! It totally threw me off. A sweet steak on bed of now sweet mashed potatoes. I tried to eat around the “glaze”, but couldn’t stomach it. I had my mouth all worked up for a savory steak with potatoes.
We then decided to stay and chat even after having no meal...so I ordered two several glasses of “house” Cabernet only to find out that their ”house” Cabernet was $12 per glass. Like really?
So, I ended up paying more for our glasses of wine than I would’ve paid for both of our meals together!
I am am very disappointed considering I’ve been wanting to come to Silo for quite some time now! Needless to say, I will not be returning!
I love the food, great service, a beautiful restaurant, great price. What more can you ask for.
From the service, food, and ambiance all was a great experience.
For lunch - food was very good. Had a fairly large menu with some brunch items on a Saturday. As more people came in it became louder but overall comfortable to have a leisurely lunch. Service was good and the food was very good. The lunchtime price point was reasonable.
Outstanding value on fix pris menu for lunch!
The service was outstanding, and so was the food! We got the Pork Shank and the Oysters. Will definitely be going back!!
Celebrated my wife's birthday at her favorite restaurant. Great experience as usual.
Excellent experience just a night out and the food and service were superb!
Silo has a wonderful Sunday Brunch menu. It was a very relaxing, elegant menu. Everything was delicious as always and the service was perfect!!
We visited SILO Elevate Cuisine, on Hwy 1604, in San Antonio, on Sunday afternoon, for brunch. It was a pleasant experience. Good food, great service and nice ambience. I would like to mention, our server, Vonn. He was attentive, accommodating and made our dining experience memorable. We will definitely be returning.
Great food and great service
As always excellent choice on food menu. Good wine selection too. Superb service from Hilary our server. Made for a excellent celebration of our 60th wedding anniversary.
Pricey but great experience. I would definitely recommend
We love Silo! Service is always flawless, never intrusive. We shared the chicken fried oysters (a must!) and the tomahawk feature. Best decision ever! Our server recommended the perfect wine to complement our meal. We finished with port and chocolate mousse. We can’t wait to return!
