really bad communication. We get the a la carte menu. We asked the waiter the egustation menu. He told there was only one menu. At the end of the evening, an other waiter said there was a degustation menu but that our first waiter could not understand english. So a bad experience

We had a great experience at Sikwa. The tasting menu was very good and the booklet that accompanied the food brought the experience to a higher level. A lot of variety, but each dish would have a been a deliceous meal as a standalone meal.

One of the best restaurants in Costa Rica. I highly recommend this place. Food is amazing, staff very knowledgeable and friendly. A fine dining experience with Costa Rican flavors. The chef Pablo Bonilla always amazed us.

I am a foodie and this restaurant doesn’t qualify for the 50th best. The steak was so chewy. The noise was unbearable. We couldn’t talk at the table. And the service was slow. They had to comp the desert to accommodate for the waiting time.

The food was mostly decent. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great at the same time. The chef is guilty of the common mistake of focusing more on odd ingredients, preparations, and presentation over quality ingredients. The steak was kind of chewy. There wasn’t enough calamari in the dish with rice and hearts of palm. The tuna Crudo dish was good.

El 90% de los platos estaban muy salados. No se le volvió a indicar al salonero más sobre el problema. Mejor no volver

Es la segunda vez que visito sikwa, volver a costa rica por ir a comer a un restaurante me parecía una gran idea, sikwa en mi primera ocasión fue algo espectacular, lo mejor que había comido en mi vida. Esta vez fue una decepción debido a las altas expectativas que tenia al volver, mi plato favorito, la tostada de atun, ya no era igual, fue un momento triste para mi. No todo estaba perdido, las empanadas siguen igual de deliciosas.
