Beautiful place, great food, just wish it was not so noisy
It does not get any better than the meal that my wife and I had at Signature! From the beauty of the setting and the restaurant to the truly outstanding staff, Signature can not be beat. If you want to have a special evening, consider Signature for your next quality place to dine!
Unbelievable dinner. Our drinks, appetizers, dinner, dessert and menu selections were all outstanding. The wait staff were all knowledgeable of the menu items and how the items are sourced and prepared. Very passionate group of people working there. 10 out of 10. Can’t wait to go back.
Every little detail was perfect (save the A/C that kept turning on freezing my wife and the 2 ladies nearest to us). The escargot was great. The braised pork belly was like candy. The venison medallions melted in your mouth. The espresso was strong. The chocolate truffles were light and rich. Good food, good wine and a good time.
Everything was outstanding. Great place to dine and socialize.
Location and building are excellent setting for the restaurant with nice views. Food presentation was outstanding as well as the flavor and taste. Very up scale with a casual atmosphere. Open kitchen allows patrons to view the food preparation operation.
A truly beautiful experience. Hats off to the entire team at Signature for the top notch dining experience.
The food was incredible, the service was outstanding and the decor was sensational
One of the best experiences we’ve ever had!
Excellent dinner from beginning to end. Layers of flavor, meant to be savored. Our server, Roger, was outstanding. Looking forward to returning.
We were missing Francesca's at Sunset at La Cantera for fine dining, and although Signature is a lot different, we were not disappointed. Service and food were very good.
Amazing meal. Amazing service. Perfect mix of a country setting, yet romantic and relaxed. Venison steak was perfect. Apple tart dessert is a must.
The food was so awesome and delicious. I love the open kitchen concept, you can watch your food being prepared. The place is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. The staff is on hand and attentive from the moment you walk in. I will be returning often and look forward to the next delicious meal.
Outstanding experience. Food was on a par with the best. Price might be a tad high compared to others, but not outrageously so.
Our third time at Signature and it’s as good as ever. Great food, excellent, friendly staff and a nice setting. Prices are commensurate with the quality. The open design and size of the space makes it a bit noisy when busy, but that’s about the only minus. Recommend it highly .
Spectacular, food of amazing and drinks are exceptional. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers and drinks, strongly recommend for date night or girls night. Ambiance is wonderful.
Two words sum it up - First Class! Our meal was a gastric delight, the service was impeccable and the ambience was classy and yet homey at the same time. This is definitely the place to go if you want an absolute dining experience.
One of the finest meals we have had in some time. We will for sure be back the next time we are in San Antonio. Keep up the great work!
What a wonderful restaurant! I have heard about it for a while but just hadn't made it out before Easter. Our family enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch and the food was so fresh and tasty. Wonderful wine and sparkling wine selection, and the servers and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to go back for dinner!
Lovely setting , delicious food, helpful staff
Perfect easter brunch
Once again, Signature delivered with superb cuisine (the wild mushroom omelet and Signature burger were both delicious) and gracious, excellent service. We were seated indoors but near the fountain with a gorgeous view onto the gardens and golf course. In addition to stunningly good food, Signature distinguishes itself with its attention to guests' needs and comfort--from the valet parking attendants to the receptionists to the wait staff, service is exceptional, better than anyplace we've experienced in the city. The staff is intelligent, highly conversant, and attuned to making diners feel comfortable and welcome. This restaurant has become my favorite dining experience! We did not leave before making a future reservation!
This was a very nice Easter treat for my husband and 2 young adult boys. The food was very tasty and the dessert buffet was a wonderful treat! Ate at 1:30 it's 4:39 now and I am still very full! I had the lobster dish, my husband had the chipped beef, 1 son had the salmon with poached eggs, the other had lamb chops. All were very good but by far the lamb chops were the best.
One of the best restaurants in San Antonio. The food is the star here. Always excellent! Great place for an elegant brunch too; the poached eggs with salmon is my favorite. The wait staff is always professional although a little inconsistent in being timely and thorough. It does not take away, however, from the excellent food and lovely atmosphere. I also enjoy the open kitchen, fun to watch!
The restaurant for brunch was just okay. Great atmosphere but the food wasn’t very tasty. Desserts also were so so.
Excellent wait staff
I highly recommend Signature, great atmosphere with outstanding food and service. Alan at the bar will take good care of you and Clayton was an excellent waiter. I would recommend having the "Bald Genius" aka sommelier pick a bottle of wine for your meal, he made a fantastic choice for our meal. Looking forward to going back.
Our meal was outstanding and the service was superb. We felt as though we were in Europe! Thanks and Kudos to Chef Weismann.
We were visiting San Antonio for the NCAA Men’s Final Four. I searched fine dining restaurants before coming and this looked like a good choice. Well, it exceeded expectations on every level. The restaurant is gorgeous with beautiful golf course views. We had perfect weather, so the sliding doors were open to the outside. Our request to be moved to a table by the open door was kindly granted. The lobster pot pie was recommended when we said we are seafood lovers, so my husband and I both ordered it. It was so good, as were our appetizers. Overall, just a delightful experience!
My wife and I were in San Antonio for the Final Four. She had read about Signatures in Southern Living magazine on the airplane from San Diego
Our waiter was fabulous and made our meal very social. The food was unbelievable. Great evening the meal took 2 hours
Read about it on plane to S.A. For Final 4! Outstanding!
Poor cucumber martini. Why no Jack Daniels?
We enjoyed this restaurant very much and we plan on eating here whenever we are back in area for small breaks. Our waitress was wonderful and so was the food.
I had been wanting to try this place for some time now. And brunch was a great way to try it! Hands down it was amazing!
Lovely place, we were greeted and seated quickly and with a warm welcome on our special occasion. Drinks were brought quickly and were very good. My daughter’s pancakes came topped with bacon, which she doesn’t eat. This was not noted on the menu. They were very nice about taking it away , but the plate came back very quickly, and it seemed to only have had the bacon taken off, not have been completely remade. She was hungry, so she ate around it, but that shouldn’t have happened. Otherwise, food was delicious and we would return, just need to make sure to tell them about any food restrictions.
The restaurant was very dark, had to use the flash light on my phone to read the fine print on the menu. The oysters were tiny and very expensive. The seafood soup had about 6 small bite sized pieces of seafood, the red snapper was very dry on the outside.
The apple dessert was good as well as the wine.
There are not a lot of items on the menu, but I think I would have been happy with any of the selections. I had venison that was prepared perfectly. The plating for all the dishes was very nice. The prices were quite reasonable. This is a nice choice for any special occasion.
This was our third visit to Signature. We would have liked to have visited more often but it is hard to get in at our preferred dining hours, especially on the weekend. The menu is pretty limited but there are always delectable choices, not the usual fair found in most restaurants. When recommending to friends we let them know that this is not an inexpensive outing, however it is an exceptional restaurant and perfect for a special occasion, just be sure to plan ahead.
Beef tenderloin. It is excellent.
Visited Signature for our wedding anniversary. Ordered the venison and the chef's special for the evening, haddock on Spanish rice cooked in squid ink - excellent. Waiter recommended the perfect wine for these dishes. Very relaxed environment. Highly recommended.
