Signature, Inspired by Chef Andrew Weissman
The menu is straightforward and beguiling, featuring Andrew’s contemporary interpretations of classic dishes — fresher, brighter versions of traditional cuisine enlivened with unconventional Texas spirit. Gulf seafood conspires with Atlantic Coast oysters flown in fresh, house-aged sirloin easily holds its own with Pacific Northwest lamb, and the Hill Country is well-represented with venison, dove and quail. Local and organic ingredients change the menu as the seasons peak and wane, but the constants are quality, flavor, artistry in the kitchen and a warm welcome when you walk in the door.
Dinner: Tuesday-Saturday 5:30-10 pm, Sunday 5:30-9 pm
Brunch: Sunday 10:30-2 pm
This was the best meal I have ever eaten. From amuse-bouche start to the artisanal petit foures finish, everything was perfect. The food, service, and wine selection was absolutely top-notch. The ONLY thing that detracted was that our table was next to the large windows overlooking the front drive, and bright headlights shined on us occasionally throughout the meal.
The service and cuisine was impeccable. As always Andrew Weissman delivers with an outstanding menu. The quality and flavor with each bite was outstanding. This is now my favorite brunch location and soon to be for dinner too.
The atmosphere was warm, the food was delicious. The service was very good, made great recommendations. Overall great experience.
We had a wonderful experience during our anniversary dinner. The duck was amazing. Cooked perfectly. Cocktails were great. Our servers was great as well and the restaurant had a nice ambiance.
We visited Signature to celebrate our anniversary. We didn't feel the celebration feel from the staff. Food was okay, my potatoes were burnt underneath.
Wonderful experience through and through! Greeted at the door, quickly seated, attentive wait staff and amazing food. Well done!
Excellent service and the food was exceptional as usual.
Outstanding food, view and location, and ambiance. A happy place with a lot of charm. Suggestion please give a proper small fork for the oh so tasty escargot. Very nice staff.
It was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long while. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert! We will be back again soon.
Amazing!! Ambiance was fresh and interesting. Wait staff was phenomenal and the food was outstanding!
What a fantastic dinner. Creative dishes and the service was impeccable.
Love love love this restaurant! Food and service are always consistent and top notch. Make sure to try the lamb appetizer!
We were blown away - but what else can you expect from Chef Andrew Weissman. The Sommelier picked up on our taste, Manager and Staff...sharp as a tack! We cannot wait to go back!
Amazing food, service, everything! Looking forward to our next visit.
We love Signature and all the people that work there plus the delicious food. I always recommend it if someone is looking for a atmosphere that ‘s very comfortable yet beautiful.
Fantastic food, excellent service, cozy yet modern ambiance. Will repeat.
Superb in every way! The service is impeccable in every way, the staff personable and attentive.
The food is without comparison, tasty, creative and presented in an appetizing manner. Here’s just a small sample...the raspberry tart for dessert!!!
Would highly recommend for any occasion!
Great dining and service. When we went on a Thursday evening, the tasting menu was not an offering. The was no issue because of their great service... We told them that we were looking forward to a chef tasting menu and a few minutes later, our server informed us that the chef was willing to offer it to us (party of 3). Definitely part of our trip highlights.
You will not be disappointed with the service or the food. Wine list is first class.
Food was extraordinary! Everything on the table was exception. One of the best meals ever in San Antonio.
I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable but elegant décor and atmosphere, The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The portion size is perfect and well worth the $. I will definitely return soon and highly recommend.
Everything was stellar.
Restaurant was very nice for all reasons one could possibly think of regarding food, food service and cheery ambience. However, this is the FIRST restaurant that has ever called me to confirm a reservation, a practice more akin to that of a doctor's office or barber shop. I didn't like it, and told them so. It seemed tacky to me and not necessary. I reserved via OpenTable more than a week in advance, and got an email from the app, asking me to confirm, which I promptly trashed. If I make a reservation for a wedding anniversary dinner, I will keep it and neither a robo-email nor a phone call from a human at the restaurant hounding me, checking to see "if we're still coming", is needed. It's a lot like my Mom calling to see if we are still coming, where we are on the road, and what our estimated time of arrival would be, based on location and speed of travel. STOP IT!
Will never use OpenTable again because of this. I'll bet restaurants pay an outrageous monthly fee to OT for this service...what a gigantic waste of money, which could be better spent by hiring staff to do nothing but help customers making reservations by phone.
Next time, I'll CALL the restaurant, not use OT, and will request said restaurant NOT call me back to "confirm".
Chef Andrew Weissman has done it again... if you know and follow Chef Weissman then this should be to no ones surprise! I've been follow Chef Weissman since Le Reve, and everything in between leading up to his Signature restaurant. Amazing countryside French classic dishes in this relaxed elegant restaurant. Every bite coming out of the kitchen was superb. The classic Le Reve Tart is a must have if your ever visited Le Reve or ever wished you had but were not able to secure a reservation... absolutely amazing. This was my first time having Pheasant and I must say this dish from this restaurant has me spoiled. The staff was exceptional in every sense of the word service. Signature leaves you wanting to experience every dish on the menu... so if you try one dish... you'll be wanting more.
Fine dining but a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.
The gospel brunch was fantastic. The music was superb but the food was even better. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday. They seated us next to an open door that overlooked the golf course. It was a serene setting when it began to rain. This was my second dining experience here and I would highly recommend it to anyone celebrating a special occasion. Great service!
We love it and have probably been a dozen times. Totally loved the gospel brunch and think you should do it again
We always enjoy our meals at Signature although at times would like to see more variety on menu.
This was our first time at signature, we never see it advertised and only found it as we had driven by. So glad we went, everything was perfect. All the servers were very attentive! Food was absolutely delicious and loved how everything was presented and the variety of add-ons to each dish, which made each dish more appealing. Our only hiccup was the hostess was going to seat us by the kitchen and that was not what we wanted. She had to talk to her manager. We were eventually able to sit in a booth by the bar, which was much more romantic as we were celebrating my husband‘s birthday. Would recommend when you make your reservation to specifically ask not to be seated by the kitchen. Very happy with the restaurant, and the food was delicious! would definitely recommend to a friend and would go back again!
Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment I was greeted until the evening ended some 3 hours later. The food was amazing, our waiter Roger both knowledge and personable, and the setting and ambience nothing short of spectacular.
Outstanding! The food was excellent. Our server, Aaron, was personable, attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance is white-glove with all the little touches to make it feel special. An amuse bouche before starting. A sorbet palate cleanser before the entrees. The wine was decanted at the table. The noise level is a little high but not overwhelming. Wouldn't be ideal for a quiet romantic dinner but definitely a special occasion kind of place. Highly recommended.
More than just dinner, it was a show of delicious proportion. Kid friendly environment, excellent staff, food was incredible. Usually go for brunch, will definitely be back for dinner.
Simply the BEST place to eat in San Antonio. Super food with creative dishes.
We celebrated our first year anniversary of dating last night at Signature and it was complete bliss. Ariana and I had always thought that Signature was a beautiful restaurant with great service and food. Having worked there before, I never wrote a review on account of the bias it posed to convey, but, as a free-standing patron, I can now say, this is hands-down one of the best restaurants in San Antonio. Thank you to the whole team!
The menu rotates with the season, which limits offering of a favorite dish.
Lovely view across the green and of the resort's French architecture.
Incredible meal! My wife and I enjoyed the brunch menu thoroughly.
As always the service was great, the food was good, although menu limited. Nonetheless, quickly became our favorite local restaurant.
Started with a great bartender Allan with distinctive drinks and very good food and service for a great evening.
Love this restaurant. I was a bit disappointed in the Osso Bucco only because I have had better similar dishes. The lamb was nice and tender but I was not thrilled with how it was served - not sure what it was in the dish and it had 1 tiny baby carrot.
Otherwise I love the restaurant and all is great. Food was great last item we were there as well. Would be nice if the menu changes seasonally. Same dishes since the last time we were there in June.
When they first opened, my husband and I frequented almost every weekend, and so enjoyed it! Still do, the food is wonderful, as is the atmosphere. It has been several months since we have dined here, and one thing we did notice, was the size of the charcuterie. We always get the chefs selection, and this time they really skimped out on the cheeses and meats. Really quite disappointed with that, as that is our favorite part usually. Service still isn't quite up to par, but very nice staff. When you spend $800 (for 4 of us) for dinner, you expect everything to be 100% .
