Food was exceptional as was the wine list. The host seated us immediately and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions. Service was top notch.
Thank you for the great review! We are delighted to hear you had a good experience dining with us. We hope to see you back again soon!
Wrong steak was received , not cooked as asked . Prices are a little high for the actual product.
I ordered the Cacio E Pepe, which apparently must translate to undercooked spaghetti noodles served clumped together, covered in a thick bland paste like sauce that was perhaps paper mache or elmers paste. I literally couldn’t even take a second bite. When the waitress asked how it was I told her not good, in fact not even particularly edible. She told me to try and eat some more of it and if I still didn’t like it she’d check back and get me something else. Although she never came back, not until 30 minutes later to ask me if I needed a box for my obviously untouched meal, and when I said absolutely not she just shrugged and said “oh I wish I could’ve gotten you something else”, even though she had never stopped back at the table.
The manager stopped by our table to ask how everything was and we expressed to him our disappointment. He asked if he could bring us dessert so we looked at the menu and thought how could one go wrong with New York style cheesecake. Well they managed to mess that up also, it was definitely not New York style cheesecake. It was more like a cookie with some kind of filling in it resembling a Fig Newton. We actually had to ask the waitress if it was cheesecake because we said “this doesn’t appear to be New York style cheesecake” and she laughed and said “oh yeah, it’s not, but it is a cheesecake, our chef just likes to do an artesian cheesecake and something different”. Had we been paying for the cheesecake off the menu and ordered New York style and this is what were given and charged for we would’ve been extremely unhappy. In fact, it didn’t seem as though many of the things I had seen when looking them up online were available, including the delicious lobster I saw in the pictures.
To top it all off, when we received the bill we were still charged full price for my entire disgusting clearly untouched meal.
Not only was the food bad, but the waitress was was very smirky and condescending as well. We won’t be back.
Nice atmosphere terrific service. Food was very good at a good price mark. My only disappointment was not a lot of variety in the menu.. But what we ordered was very very good
Excellent as always
Staff was great.
Italian Salad was nice but a little heavy with the onions. And I was overcharged for it on my bill.
Scallops were nicely cooked but VERY peppery.
Gnocchi Bolognese was basic and incredibly peppery. Loaded with whole black peppercorns, made it a bit unpleasant to eat. The peppercorns made it feel as though you were biting into small bones and left the meal tasting of nothing but pepper. The meat in the sauce wasn’t as tender or smooth as I expected it to be. Also, portion was very small.
Ian was an outstanding server. He made our evening very special. Highly recommend asking for his table when making a reservation. Kristen in the bar is a very friendly efficient server as well. We had a great time. Highly recommend the Ambassador and Siena. The male maitre'd was a little testy
Excellent service and delicious food. Sat in the bar, quiet and amazing attention to guests. Appreciated the recommendations from Bree, everything was as described. Fabulous place, highly recommend it.
As always, our meal was delicious and well-paced. We brought out-of-state friends and they were especially impressed.
Food was good but not great. Server had too many tables so we had to wait.
Location and ambience was nice. The food was decent, but not great. Overall we had an average experience at a place were the prices are above average. I'm not going to get into what I liked and disliked about each dish. I'm not the foodie type. Just want a meal that's equal to the price and on this night I didn't get that, except for the Caesar Salad. I liked that they put real anchovy's in the salad.
Excellent as always.
Steaks were very good but for the money, meals should include potatoes or salads. Too expensive for wichita if you have to add all the sides separately.
Was also surprised that the entire staff, except the boss, were wearing masks. It made me feel uncomfortable, like they were afraid of their customers.
We had a wonderful time here! We were stopping on our way back to Denver for a couple days. Everything we had was executed wonderfully from the burrata with fresh peas, the scallops, barramundi, to the the budino for dessert we paired with glasses of Madeira & Black Muscat! Service was great with Daniel making us feel so welcome. Def must try if you haven't been!
Very professional, good food.
The food was delicious! Filet was tender and cooked perfectly and the scallops were amazing.
We love the steak house for dinner but it's not the same experience for a Sunday brunch/breakfast. Very limited menu. Service was slow but I think they are feeling the hit of a lack of available labor right now. Our server was working her tail off for the whole restaurant so props to her.
Simply fantastic. From check in to signing checks we were treated very very well
Always a pleasure dining at Siena.
Ate here with family after my college graduation. It was a very nice restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning to this spot.
Thank you for taking the time to share your exceptional experience with us and congratulations on your college graduation!!
...35 dollar Mothers day Buffet...with l2 entrees to choose from prime rib or friend chicken...the serving spoons were all gross and stuck on the cloth napkins dessert choices were cheesecake cake or cookies...Un appealing set up and presentation mainly...just kind of disappointing considering the atmosphere and price...nothing super spectacular...I had higher expectations
Thanks for your review. I am sorry to hear that your experience was not what you were expecting. We work hard to ensure that every guest’s experience is special and unique but sometimes we miss the mark completely. We know that is no excuse but we value each of our guests and hope you’ll give us another chance.
Took way too long to get food - over an hour
Guitar player was way to loud
Very difficult to carry on a conversation
Food was excellent
Waitress was mediocre had to ask for water fills - didn’t offer bread refills since we waited so very long for food
Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We take full responsibility and will use your candid feedback for ongoing staff training. We apologize for that and hope we can make it up to you in the future should you decide to give us another chance.
Grilled Scallops, beef filet both excellent. Caesar salad & Italian salad crispy fresh & tangy dressing. Focaccia bread served warm! Cheesecake with berries also a win. Ask for Daniel!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a great review! We are so grateful and hope to welcome you back soon!
I took my boss to Siena Tuscon Steakhouse and surprisingly neither of us had steak, instead we each were impressed by the other items on the menu. The gnocchi that I ordered was incredible as was my colleague's carbonara. Great food, great setting, and great service.
Thank you, John for such a positive review! We are thrilled you and your boss enjoyed the Gnocchi and our Carbonara! Both of those dishes have been very popular lately!
Enjoyed very much! Guitar player/music was a very nice touch.
Literally had the best filet steak I’ve ever had the other night at Siena Steakhouse. It was slightly under cooked from what I ordered but it was the most flavorful steak I’ve ever had! So tender and fresh. The potato’s were incredible as well as the chopped salad (slightly too many onions for my taste). Their bread is unbelievably tasty. A truly fantastic meal. Love going here although because the sides and salad are an add on it can be pricy. There are other menu items that are more affordable. Definitely worth adding to your dining options.
Michelle, thank you for taking the time to leave us such positive feedback! We have shared all of your comments with our chef so that we can perfect your next visit!
I had the ribeye with potatoes and my wife had the filet with potatoes. By far the best steaks we've ever had! Waitress was awesome and the live music was pretty good too! Well definitely drive an hour to come back here!
We loved reading your review! Thank you for such positive feedback! We hope to welcome you back soon!
We stopped in Wichita on our way back to MN from AZ and were welcomed with a great dinner accompanied by awesome wine pairings. Highly recommend the antipasta to start and any of the pastas for the main course. Ended with the Far Niente Dolce and vanilla bean ice cream so it's hard to say anything but great things!
Thank you, ChrisL!
Filet was yummy. Our server, Phillip, was great.
Friendly service...food was cooked to perfection!
Siena Tuscan Steakhouse was absolutely amazing. From the appetizer and entree and dessert, every care was taken and every bite was to die for. The drinks were absolutely delicious. Would 100% recommend this restaurant and plan to go again soon.
A great place to eat. The staff was great and the food was delicious!
Reservation was ready. Server was good. Drinks were correct. We got the arancini and burrata appetizers and they were both very good. It was Friday and during lent so instead of steaks we went with the fish and scallops. Both were very good and hot, but seemed like they were sitting under the lamp a bit long. Otherwise, it was very good. Would go back again.
Fresh, local, seasonal food made very well.
Loved everything about our time there.
Drinks were excellent.
We had the Cesar salad, ribeye and the scallops.
We thank you for your wonderful review! We hope to see you back soon and we're glad you enjoyed our Caesar Salad, Ribeye and Scallops!
Wonderful atmosphere with a great musician. Tasty food, a little pricy, but the food and experience is worth it.
Food and service at the Ambassador are always outstanding! We love the cityscape view and the quiet ambiance. Very pleasant and relaxing for fine dining and visiting with friends! Service is impeccable.
Live music, cuisine, and service were all absolutely wonderful.
