What can I say, Excellent food, nice atmosphere, and very good service. It is bit on the pricy side, but worth the price tag.
The ribeye had no flavor and was very thin. We did enjoy the sides of beef fat potatoes, brussel sprouts and asparagus. The service was subpar.
We had a wonderful dinner. The entire staff was very accommodating and attentive. The food was outstanding.
Restaurant was empty and they sat us right next to the hostess stand and entry and table with small child. Annoying. Heard the staff talking and elevator dinging the whole time. Restaurant use to have wonderful food. 6/10 now. App was bland. Salad was good. Pasta good. Steaks terrible. Dessert so-so. Definitely won’t be back for awhile. Is a shame because restaurant is beautiful inside at night.....if you get seated at a better table than us next to the doorway.
We had a marvelous time at Siena. The food was amazing, as always. The drinks were fantastic. This is a wonderful date night location.
Our waiter, Zavier, was awesome!!!
There was a group of us celebrating several birthdays. We had just the best experience! The service was great and the food was delicious, from the appetizers to dessert! We each ordered something different and it was all amazing. Look forward to going back again soon!
A great restaurant all around. Our server was fantastic and helped us to pair some great wine with some great food. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant in the Wichita area and you want locally sourced, prime cuts of beef (the chef has connections to local ranches) and a good selection of wines, this is the place to go.
Always enjoy the food here!
We were there on a Wednesday night so it was really quiet.
Perfectly fine dinner but not good enough to return. The fish was overpowered by the crust of seasoning, risotto was low on flavor. We were served an outstanding parsnip soup. A fig appetizer arrived with the unannounced substitution of cherry tomatoes for the figs, the server did remove it from the bill.
While on business in Wichita, I used Open Table (as I often do) to try a local restaurant I do not have where I live in Seattle. Being part Italian and having traveled several times through Tuscany, the name Siena Tuscan Steakhouse caught my eye quickly. It was only a mile walk from my hotel.
The host was very friendly and energetic. I had a warm welcome when I arrived. I requested to be seated at the bar, as there were several people in there and only a few in the restaurant.
I ordered a glass of the Castello del Poggio Rosé (Lombardy, Italy). I should have been suspicious when the bartender asked me to show him in the wine list. Ugh !! The wine was as expected...crisp and delicious. The wine list is extensive with wines from all around the world, as expected for a nice Italian steakhouse.
I ordered the Grilled Caesar with anchovies and the House Pasta with Parmesan and black pepper. What I expected was a salad with homemade Caesar dressing topped with a few anchovies and a pasta that should look like Cacio e Pepe (Pecorino and black pepper). Because the menu said House Pasta, and Cacio e Pepe is a traditional dish in Italy, I expected to see something like Italy’s Cacio e Pepe. It is their version of Mac-n-Cheese. As you can tell from the pictures, they forgot my anchovies and the pasta looks more like an Alfredo sauce. Note: Alfredo is not really Italian. It is a pasta, butter and cheese dish created years ago by a chef in Italy who named it after himself...Alfredo.
The salad was not terrible. I would have liked the anchovies and wished the dressing had more Parmesan and anchovy flavor.
The pasta was very disappointing. Like I said, it was more like a Alfredo with parsley absent the pepper. The sauce could have come from a jar for all I know.
If I visit Wichita again, I will give them another chance, as everyone has a bad day. If there is a next time, I will order their Pappardelle with braised rabbit. Sounds delicious.
Mr. Fisher, I am sorry to hear that we failed to meet your expectations. I take great pride in the work that we do, please know that experiences such as your most recent visit are the exception rather than the rule. Please return upon your next visit to Wichita and I will personally see that you enjoy an exquisite meal (we just launched our new fall menu with some great new options). Thank you for your time and I hope to be hearing from you. Chef Josh
Phillip did an amazing job of pacing and presenting our tasting menu. Loved everything about this restaurant. Highly recommend
Great place for lunch business meeting
The food was average or below. The worst Gazpacho I’ve ever had. Service was ok. Atmosphere was nice and quiet for a business dinner. Wouldn’t go back.
Wow! My wife and I celebrated our fifth year anniversary dinner here and enjoyed a wonderful meal and service. You can’t go wrong here!!!
Had the salmon. It was very good. Service was great. Our primary server was very attentive and we had others checking in with us throughout our dinner.
This was our third time at Siena Tuscan Steakhouse (second time for lunch). Both lunches were outstanding (food, wine, presentation, service, ambiance, noise level). We’ll be back!
The restaurant was very classy and clean, but the lunch portions were small. My daughter was all excited to have the pasta she sampled from two years ago and I told them the whole long story. We expected a nice large portion and maybe even perhaps a candle stuck into one of the three desserts we purchased and none of that happened. They knew it was her birthday and we had reservations. I was told it would be very special and it was not. The food was very tasty, we all just needed more of it and we are NOT especially large eaters.
I got my business colleagues to try this place as an alternative to the Scotch & Sirloin (which is always great). Everyone in my group ordered something different. Everyone loved their food. Wine is priced fairly and with an extensive list. This is a great steakhouse with an Italian theme. You won't be disappointed.
Service is slow. They were not prepared for the large crowd at night. Food was mediocre at best. Expected something more special.
Great as usual. Perfect when you are attending a concert.
Incredible service, food, and drinks! Highly recommend!
Great food, great guitarist, great conversation.
Our server always helps make our experience special. We love the atmosphere, the downtown energy and the drinks. Don’t start a pre-made drink like a beer or wine. Try one of their mixed drinks. We do and we love it.
To confirm this is a legit review I will say that we stay away during special events because they don’t handle those wonderfully. Too much temporary labor and they pack you in a non-traditional dining space like a meeting room. I speak specifically of Mother’s Day.
Excellent in all aspects. Very attentive service, excellent quality of food cooked to perfection. Rather expensive, but that is to be expected for truely excellent fine dining.
The server was amazing and so was the beauty of the restaurant. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered steak and finger potatoes. His was very good, mine was so so. The salmon was nicely seasoned but the inside was still raw. Usually the server asks how I like my salmon cooked; I was not asked this time. Also my salmon was supposed to come with a serving of local vegetables. It came with a turnip that was dry, undercooked, and so very bitter I couldn’t eat it.
Class A restaurant . Food good, staff great, 100% worth going anytime. Took friends from Texas tonight and they loved it. Thank you for treating us all so good and letting us have a wonderful reunion.
Initial wait on service seemed a bit long, but once we got drinks and bread it was an excellent experience.
The most thought out menu in Wichita. Reasonable prices. Amazing wine list. Incredible service.
We were celebrating my sons 21st birthday. Dinner was amazing. He had a friend with him. We went to Dockum. His friend was our designated driver. Dockum kicked him out because he’s not 21. Fair enough. He went upstairs and waited on us. The hotel guy came and said he could not be on hotel property and had to go. We had had many drinks. Left us with no designated driver. This was terrible and very very dangerous. Ruined an otherwise great time and sent a message to my son that drinking responsibly is not important. Thanks.
Zavier was our server. He was professional and knowledgeable. All steps of service executed well. A relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food.
Overall we liked it here. We were grabbing a bite before a comedy show on our anniversary.
We both ordered the Filets. They were over cooked a bit, which was disappointing given the high price point. The steaks were still delicious despite them being overdone.
The mushrooms saved the entire experience. But to be honest, we will go elsewhere for that kind of meal at a better price and quality.
Portion size too small. We made reservation that confirmed online. When we got to restaurant they did not have seating available so we had to eat in the bar.
Wonderful atmosphere and the service was great. Not to mention the amazing food and wine!
This was a very nice experience. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the steak salad and the steak was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. The full steak entree's were a bit pricey at $42+ not knowing the area that could be the norm and this was a high-end establishment. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area!
We had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. We were finally seated 80 minutes late after being told it would be a 20 minute delay by one host, 40 minute delay by another. We were "comped" tequila shots while we waited, but two of us don't drink alcohol and the others did not enjoy the shots. Once we were seated, the service was poor. The server did not check back with us following the delivery of our food, either the salads or the main course. A side dish was not served with the entrees and it was 20 minutes before it was brought to the table - we had to ask for it because the server never came by to make sure we were enjoying our food. The grilled Caesar salads, fettuccini bolognese and the steak we ordered were good, but the carbonara and the Casarecce Pasta were not. We were celebrating my daughter's college graduation, but the celebration was dimmed by the poor experience. The server could have done a lot to make up for the long wait, but she mostly ignored us. The hosts never came to check on us after we were seated - very disappointing.
I reserved a table for mother’s day lunch thinking we would be able to sit down, be served, and enjoy a lovely meal picked from the menu; however, upon arrival the host was rude and made it clear that this other reservation he was working on was more important rather than politely asking us to wait a minute. Our waiter was very friendly and seemed alright but had to inform us that we could not order from the menu and that the lunch was buffet. I understand some people enjoy a good ole buffet but that was not what i was after to enjoy planned lunch. My biggest complaint is that upon reserving the table it would have disclosed buffet only.
Very disappointed with their brunch options and food quality. Extremely overpriced for the experience.
Food was good, but not great. Service was fair, but not entirely the fault of the staff. It looked like they were under staffed for Mother's day brunch.
