About Siena Tavern
A polished and energetic restaurant with Italian and Mediterranean cuisine curated by DineAmic Group's Chef/Partner, Fabio Viviani, also commonly known for his Celebrity Chef accolade as Bravo's "Top Chef Fan Favorite." The décor reflects a hybrid of a rustic Italian market, a fine dining restaurant and a modern, industrial tavern, bridging old world comfort and hospitality with a contemporary menu and design. When setting foot into this 10,000-square-foot eatery for lunch, dinner, late night cocktails or weekend brunch, you can expect to taste the same "from-scratch" Italian cooking fundamentals in pastas, pizzas, mozzarellas, gelato and everything between.

Siena Tavern Ratings and Reviews
Thanks to Ben, our server who got us Osso Bucco after telling us they were out of it. That’s all we came their for and was salvitating all week for it so, that was awesome! But was delicious!! My husband had lamb chops and they were very good, as well! My birthday gelato wS excellent-all in all, a great night!!
food was delicious, we had the Croccoli for an appetizer- crispy dough, stracchino cheese, prosciutto di parma, truffle honey --very tasty, not heavy, there were 4 on the order but they gave us a 5th since we had 5 in our party. then I had the Trofie poast for dinner- braised rabbit, castelvatrano olive, toasted pistachios, grana padano over trofie pasta which I love. Also had gelato and their nutella mousse and cookies for dessert.
only negative in my opinion and I am 57, is noise level from bar- I wouldn't call it "energetic", i call it noisy. I would absolutely come back however, this was my 3rd visit but 1st 2 times were in their private dining so didn't notice the noise :-)
Took my family to celebrate a birthday. Did shared plates. Some standouts include the bay scallops, crispy on the outside perfect inside, short rib ravioli with excellent gravy/sauce and brick chicken, perfectly crisp skin with juicy meat. Need reservation but then got right in. Service excellent!!
We had a rez for 8:15 on Sunday night. It was a special occasion and we booked Siena Tavern as it came highly recommended by many of our friends. The restaurant was not crowded yet the wait staff seemed a little frazzled. We waited a long time before the waiter came for our drink orders and we did not get our drinks until 50 minutes after being seated. The waiter had a very canned schpeel to the point of repeating himself and just seemed checked out and ready to go home. This was an important night for our family and too expensive of a meal to get sub-par service. The food was very good. We requested take away for our leftovers of which we only got 2 of the 3 dishes in the bag but did not realize that until after we got back to the hotel. Didn't think I would have to check their work. Honestly, good service makes or breaks an experience and I was just so disappointed.
Although the food wasn't incredible, it was above average. The most impressive part of our dining experience was the service. We went in for Sunday brunch and had a 10:00 reservation. We waited a few minutes to be seated, and then waited around 5 minutes to be seen. We thought the service was very fast, especially since we were one of the first tables. However, the manager came up to us after we ordered and apologized for the wait and offered to comp a dessert. We waited no more than 5 minutes. We declined his offer because although it was very generous, we did not think we deserved anything for free because we didn't have any problems with the service, and I probably would have given them 5 stars regardless because I didn't think we waited at all! 5 stars for the service.
This was the second time I have had a bad meal there. This time it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I told the server that I needed to be dairy and chocolate free. I originally ordered waffles. After waiting awhile the server came out and told me that the chef burned them and it would be awhile longer. When it finally came the chocolate was front and center. I then said let's try something different and ordered the breakfast skillet which was all vegetables. When it came out it was covered with cheese. I guess they thought cheese was not a dairy product. By this time my friend finished their meal and I figured three failures was enough. I told them to forget my food and I would never return. The manager did comp my friends food (a lot of good that did me). Since was the second time I or someone in my party had left without eating, I have concluded that a once very good restaurant had deteriorated beyond repair. Don't waste your money there. There are too many other places to eat.
I stumbled across Fabio Viviani on a yahoo 3 ingredient pasta meal. My gf and I have been big fans of his videos and a few of meals we’ve tried to replicate from his videos or recipe books. While traveling to Chicago for a convention we made a point of visiting one of Fabio’s restaurants. We were not disappointed in any way. Our waiter was very friendly describing the restaurant food and specials. My gf had the salmon and I tried the Diavolo Chicken. Every bite was filled with flavor and perfectly done. Well worth the trip. Can’t wait to try again.
The food was delicious as well as the hand crafted cocktails. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. She helpfully offered dishes that accommodated the various food allergies at our table. Gluten - shellfish - dairy. We were a tough bunch... The sommelier paired our meals perfectly. Highly recommend and would happily return.
