Great night and delicious food!
Everything was amazing! I had several “this is the best I ever had” moments! Best gnocchi, best chicken, best meatball, best cheese and salami tray and the best latte ever! I will be coming back!
Fabulous squid ink pasta with lobster and cream say
Wonderful meal at Siena Tavern!! We had the meatball, burrata, burnt pepperoni pizza, and charred cauliflower. All were delicious!! Great wine and service too as always.
Was disappointed. For an Italian style restaurant, I would have expected bread on the table, especially as pasta was ordered. When I asked for salt and pepper, we were brought a small plate with little dishes of salt pepper, red pepper, Parmesan. I wanted fresh ground pepper and I had no idea how many pry had already stuck their fingers into the little bowls. Ugh!!! The food was average. The wait staff was nice enough.
Even though we had a reservation, we waited at least twenty minutes for a table. No apologies. No acknowledgement of the inconvenience. We were told to leave and they would text us or we could stand in the extremely crowded bar area. Neither were an option as we made a reservation for a reason (strapped for time). Would have made a difference if this was acknowledged but wholly ignored. Similar to my last few experiences at Sienna, would say while the food is good, it’s only a once every few years restaurant.
Their pizza is the best - crust is yummy! The tuna crudo was delicious too.
Really loud. Neapolitan style pizza was undercooked and soggy, not crispy. A few standard requests proved tricky: no crackers for soup, and no salt and pepper on the table.
Salads were great. The room is really nice and energetic.
Birthday. Loved it
Great as always
Delicious brunch and lively atmosphere although not too loud for a conversation. Recommend the breakfast pizza.
Birthday celebration. Service was severely slow. Took the server 10 min to greet. Another 10 min to get our drinks. Food was taking longer than usual. But, the food was great.
The food was OUTSTANDING and our server was incredible. Such a positive experience. The service staff was very knowledgeable about the food and was able to make great recommendations as well as good wine pairings. Awesome spot for any occasion.
Food was amazing! I had the lasagna and gelato 🍨 for dessert and both were fantastic!
Great service and excellent food is always the only thing I didn’t care for as we were sitting by the door and it’s winter and it’s cold
Food was poor.
Fries were burnt, burgers were dry.
Wait staff was indifferent, and I could not get the attention of our waitress or any bus staff for more water or for missing silverware.
Being a former waitress, I finally got up and went to the wait station for a water carafe, and some silverware.
My server just stared at me, while another waiter helped me with the water and the silverware. I nevertheless gave my usual generous tip, which seems to be on no consequence to our server, who didn't say another word to us.
I would not recommend.
Waited 1/2 hour for a reservation we had at 8:45 pm. Restaurant needs to spread out reservations. When finally seated, service was very good.
We made a reservation and they were running about 45 minutes behind but we just got a drink from the bar and we really didn’t mind waiting. They apologized for the wait and when we were seated they comped us an appetizer which was very nice of them since we never complained. We had the meatball which was gigantic and very tasty. I had the harvest salad which I would highly recommend, it had all of the wonderful flavors of fall fruit (apple, pomegranate seeds and a spiced cider vinaigrette). For an entree I had the butternut squash tortellacci which was the best pasta dish I have ever had. Perfectly homemade pasta filled with squash and bathed in a creamy brown butter sauce. I can’t wait to go back next time I am in town!
A very lively place. Great bar area and cozy seating. The service and food were great!
Siena never disappoints. Food here is better than in actual Siena in Italy. Must try coccoli, octopus, meatball and margherita pizza. Melody is the best waitress we ever had...ever... anywhere.
Our server was polite enough but could have been a little nicer about the restaurant being out of 3 kinds of beers that my colleague tried to offer. He is from the Netherlands and was just trying to order an American beer but the waiter was of no help whatsoever. He was clearly busy and distracted and it made my friend feel a bit awkward. Otherwise, everything was good, thanks.
Everything was amazing - food, service, atmosphere
Great job with our group of 9. Diverse menu meant everyone enjoyed their meal. Many guest shared that they really enjoyed the casual but nice tavern feel.
This was our first time visiting. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Service excellent. All of the food from appetizers to dessert was superb. This was a special dinner celebration and it couldn't have been better. Great place!
Overall a nice experience. Good service . Friendly atmosphere and courteous staff. Some dishes were acceptable, others a little dissapointment
We did have a few issues but the waitress and manager handled them in the best possible way. The food was great and their service is always top notch
Having dined at Siena Tavern four times previously, I am always excited to go back when I am in town. This time, however, it was a slightly disappointing culinary experience. The highlights were the Brick Chicken (which is always awesome) and the Scallops. However, a $21 Kobe meatball was disappointing (Iacked flavor) and the Kale Caesar salad was weak. The Tiramisu was the best I have ever tasted.
The biggest issue for me was the food. I order lasagna because I didn’t want to be too experimental but
Food was average. We thought it should be better.
One of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long, long time. Service was quite good and the team was flexible when our party size grew unexpectedly.
The dining experience was memorable at Siena Tavern
Très bruyant. Pizzas médiocres. Plats plutôt bien faits. Bons vins
Nice place to grab dinner, especially if you like to be surrounded by lots of people in a warm, jovial atmosphere. The Chicken Diavolo was superb, crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. Loved the burrata and the octopus starters.
Our food and service were fantastic. It was an incredible atmosphere.
Great service by our server! Good recommendation
Amazing pasta! Great ambience. The truffle gnocchi is the best dish I have ever had! On the pricey side but totally worth it.
Wide variety of delicious foods. Diners can choose their experience, you can do a bunch of small plates to share or entrees for individuals. There's something for everyone.
Great food. Unique twists on classic rustic Italian quite elevated. Chefs are great with food allergies but horrible in managing delivery of food safely - " food runners " severely cross contaminate dishes even when they are repeatedly advised by waiter, patrons and chefs about severe food allergies. If you have allergies prepare to wipe everything down and remove 1-2" of the food edges where servers fingers go into the bowls and plates. Management was aware as was server and chef but other than saying sorry it kept repeatedly happening they seemed to offer no other thoughts for prohibiting this issue from occurring repeatedly with other patrons.
Excellent food !
