Food is always amazing, drinks are even better! Staff are very friendly.
Absolutely fantastic meal and dining experience. Wow!
Service was just so so good. We waited just a bit for the server to come to the table, but it was fine bc he was so attentive and he apologized. He was handling a whole private room by himself and you wouldn’t have known it. His service was above par and he was wonderful!!
Food was delicious. We were blown away by the burnt pepperoni pizza and already planning another trip to Chicago to get it again!
Atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is perfect. We will be back, for sure!
Always a go to for location food service and atmosphere. It’s been there a long time for a reason.
Sit in the bar for more more casual dining.
The food was outstanding. The cace di peppi was the best in the city and the octopus was second to none. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. Wonderful experience.
Brunch was delicious and the service was spectacular, as always at Sienna Tavern!
Service was quick, food was tasty and it was a cozy dinning experience on a snowy winter Chicago evening. They were also extremely accommodating to my sensitive dairy allergy, which I always have the utmost appreciation for.
Fantastic food and great atmosphere. The three pasta dishes we tried were amazing. Great cocktails too. We’ll be back for sure.
We ate here prior to attending the theatre. The food was delicious. If you enjoy seafood, I would highly recommend the octopus appetizer. It was the best we ever had. Also the scallops were done to perfection. Nicely carmelized, flavorful and very tender. My husband the their signature chicken dish and he was not disappointed. I have recommended this restaurant and would return.
great for lunch! mushroom pizza outstanding and delicious kale salad
Siena Tavern offers a nice, varied menu, excellent food, attentive service, and a friendly, vivacious atmosphere. The meatball appetizer was terrific, as were the Kale Caesar and Burrata salads. The grilled octopus appetizer, as a main with one of the salads, was plenty for someone with a moderate appetite. The Chicken Diavolo and Orrichiette mains also were large portions and very tasty. The donuts for dessert were spectacular (and very, very big), and the selection of ice creams also was very satisfying. We will go back again.
Great food. Siena Tavern is always going to serve you a great meal. I tried the coccoli for the first time -- so good!
Initially, no one came to the table for 15 minutes or so. A manager came by and asked if everything was ok and we let her know what was going on. She covered the first round and sent out someone to discuss the menu with us. Went with the master chef dish, best chicken I have ever had, and the experience went from not so good to great. It was also our anniversary so we ordered the flight of ice cream and they comped it on the house. Turned a bad night into a great one, well done and great job by the staff. Will definitely be back.
Siena Tavern never disappoints. I had colleagues in from other cities and they loved everything we ordered. We drank a couple bottles of the Multipuciano
We ordered from the regular brunch menu. My friend's breakfast skillet was full of cheese and tomatoes..not great at all! My breakfast sandwich was not that great either. The description said it comes with sticky potatoes. I didn't expect it to be all covered with cheese again. Overall, not great food and not high value for money. Ambiance is good and have heard their lunch is pretty good.
Amazing food and great service. Will be back! Thanks for making my birthday great.
The brunch was outstanding. The egg white omelet with goat cheese was delightful. Recommend totally trying that out. The bloody Mary was tasty and service was great.
Sat in the bar with a friend for lunch. Abby was our server and she was very attentive. I have only been to the restaurant once before and it was the first time for my friend. She gave a little background information about the restaurant and the chef which I liked. We asked her for sone recommendations and we ordered what she suggested. Her suggestions were awesome and number of dishes perfect for our appetite. I would definitely recommend and I plan to go back again.
We made reservations for New Years a month in advance for 10pm and they didn’t seat us for 40 minutes and when we finally got seated they seated us in the bar. The reason being is because the earlier tables wouldn’t get up until New Years but I would think if someone had an earlier reservation the managers shouldn’t allow the tables to sit until 12 since other people have later reservations. Overall didn’t expect to spend my New Years at their bar.
Perfect choice of NYE dinner without the craziness of “events” or Bulk packages
Great experience! Our server, Jess, was awesome and had great recommendations for us. I had the truffle gnocchi and it was amazing. Highly recommend.
Made a reservation over a month in advance and was placed in the overflow area even though we specifically asked to be placed in the main dining area. The waitress we had was nice but was overrun. Hard to believe they were that short staffed for New Year’s Eve. Good food quality but poor overall experience that could have been easily remedied.
We had a great experience at the restaurant. Something went wrong with our order but the server brought us out an appetizer and it satisfied the kids - overall it was great.
Food and service was amazing... I will definitely be back !!! Even the Pistachio Gelato was outstanding. I couldn’t ask for a better dinner... amazing!!!
Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Our server was knowledgeable and suggested popular dishes. All 4 in our party enjoyed their entrees. Recommend the coccoli appetizer - something different and so delicious.
Food is always good. Arrived early and was second couple in. First couple placed by the windows and we were put at highboy table looking at the kitchen. I love the food but the staff seems inexperienced and we probably would have stayed longer and spent more If there was something to look at.
Second time visiting here. First experience was exceptional, this one was average at best. Felt like the waiter wasn’t too excited to work, or maybe he had too many tables. Felt very rushed even though we indicated we weren’t in any. Food was ok, but just nothing too special this time. May give it another try, but not for awhile.
Everything was great — delicious burger and pizza, and the Manhattan was well-crafted.
We’ve been to Sienna Restaurant before and had great experiences. This time however was not so great. The soup we ordered arrived cold like it had been sitting out for a half hour before they served it to us. We had it sent back to get warmed up. It took about 15 minutes to get our warmed up soup. It took about another 20 minutes after we finished our soup and salads to get our main course. We split a $62 bone in ribeye steak which we asked to be cooked medium well. The steak arrived rare and grizzly. We each picked around the steak to eat any edible parts. We chose not to send it back because of our previous experience with the soup taking too long.
Great food and service!!
Great food !!!!! Great setting and good service!!!!
Food was good but the service was subpar.
Great service, just enough attention.
Lovely wine list and healthy alternatives.
great food really good flat bread and pasta, will eat there again
Seemed like a good place, however had to wait 30 minutes to get a table and then the server too forever to take the order and then took even longer to serve the food. Since I was in hurry, I offered to give my card without seeing the check and he refused saying "I'll be back". I was hoping for a better service. Pretty disappointed!
Does not accommodate birthdays very well nor do they pay any attention to opentable requests
Wait staff and food were great - perfect special occasion spot!
Food was really good. Server was nice but not very attentive.
”Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference” - lady gaga
Squid ink linguine: pasta is too soft, cream did not have enough salt. Lobster was fresh and delicious though.
Breakfast Pizza: Unique and very good.
Brick Chicken Diavolo: good, but not great.
