Amazing food! The Brick Chicken Diavolo was absolutely amazing!
The food was outstanding. . .meatball amazing! Our waiter was wonderful. . .our only criticism was that the bartender was very unfriendly. Considering we started at the bar before we were seated, it didn't start out well. But after our experience with him, it was a really good meal and a nice evening. A little pricey but not outrageous.
Stopped into Sienna Tavern for a drink and early dinner to celebrate before heading to the airport. Was drawn to ST primarily because of the wine list. Ordered a meaningful $200 bottle of Kongsgaard Chardonnay from the list, but after a long wait was informed that they "could not find it." Disappointed, we revised our drink and food selections. I then took a walk to the men's room. The hallway leading to the restrooms leads directly into a large glass wine refrigerator. In that refrigerator, plainly visible, we're multiple bottles of the wine we had sought to order but which we were told could not be located. So I essentially walked into the wine that could not be found. Upon returning to the table I informed the waitress (Hannah), who had been very nice, where the bottle was located. Her response was that her manager was new, and probably didn't look there. The lack of concern was surprising. At this point we had already been seated for 40 minutes and did not have time to reset/revive the experience we had initially sought. The lack of explanation or care was also confusing. An unfortunate and unnecessarily missed opportunity for everyone involved.
Great server: really knew the menu & understood our wanting to order & share multiple dishes: brought food out timely without rushing us! Server was 148 Broc H
Was not our first time @ Siena Tavern, each time has been very good! I am sure we will be back!
Place is alive and pleasent but service is a little slow. Food was excellent and would come back soon
Food was excellent.
Went to Siena Tavern for the first time and will definitely be back! Food was outstanding! I don’t usually order chicken when dining out, but server recommended the Brick Chicken. It was the best chicken I ever had. Juicy and seasoned well, crispy potatoes, arugula salad. My friend had the Butternut Squash Tortellaci - house-made pasta very tender and delicious! We split the broccoli side dish - cooked just right with shaved parm. For dessert we split something like a chocolate cake with vanilla gelato sandwiched in - rich but yummy. Server was outstanding! We were not rushed out and the staff was very attentive - filling water glasses, removing plates, etc. Small restaurant with a ‘cool’ atmosphere.
Food was excellent busy night it was st Patrick’s day. Little disappointed about the wine menu. Lots of wine selections unfortunately the cheapest bottle was $69.00 and up. I enjoy a good bottle of wine but don’t always want to pay 100.00 for a bottle they use to have good wines for a decent price in the 50.00 range don’t know what happened to those bottles ???? Brian
My food was not good. I had hopes but it was bland and way too much cheese. I've had much better omelets for less money. My friends enjoyed their meals except thinking it was an overpriced portion.
Luca was a great server! Our favorite was the waygu meatball and the mushroom pasta! We will be back!
The best chopped salad my husband and I have ever had! We also had grilled cauliflower which was insanely good. We both loved this restaurant and would highly recommend it!
great pasta a burrata
great wine list
Everything here is excellent. Have been in a few times and look forward to coming back. The brick chicken diavolo is a must item!
1st time there. Service was excellent.
Had meatball appetizer which was excellent.
Beet salad very good.
Had Dover Sole entrée which was very good
Short rib entrée was good, very tender, but very fatty. Have had better.
Overall good experience.
Noise level very loud, difficult to hear or carry on conversation
Another great meal at Sienna Tavern. I am a fan of all the DineAmic restaurants because the service is consistently good, food presentation and taste off the charts delicious, and price point that doesn't break the bank. Today my table had crispy duck confit risotto with yummy chunks of squash, the truffle mushroom pizza and started with the most amazing meatball. Sienna Tavern is a true foodie paradise everyone should try at least one (and then have to go back for more).
We had a great first experience at Sienna Tavern. Everything was outstanding. Would definitely dine here again.
Awesome! Large portions. Great flavors. Ordered the meatball app. Really delicious!
Very nice open space with big windows, atmosphere is hip and trendy, great for meetups and with children (yes they have highchairs)
Love that place, great food and drinks. I have been going there for years
Siena Tavern is a favorite place to go when we're in the city. The food is consistently great (minus the caramel cookie jar dessert). The coccoli and butternut squash tortellacci are a must. Cocktails are amazing. Service this time was good, not outstanding. (We waited several minutes for silverware after we'd received our entrees.) Overall, fabulous place that very rarely disappoints.
Table for 4. Two Lasagna dishes were burned black on top, but otherwise good. Spaghetti was very good. Mushroom, butter, pappardelle noddles has potential, but noddles were way over cooked and drenched in butter sauce(not in a good way). I can see where there is potential, but exicution was way off.
The lump crab spaghetti was perfection! I’ll be craving that delicious & delicate pasta for life!!
My friends had the beet salad with steak and the burger and both were happy.
Our server Tara was great, she chose my entree for me, as I undecided.
Will be going back.
We had an amazing lunch last Friday, March 8th at Siena Tavern. Our waitress Kara was so much fun. We loved all her delicious recommendations and her attentive service. While the food was outstanding, it was her outstanding service that would bring us back. She made the entire experience a blast.
This was not my first meal at Siena Tavern, and I would return again and again. The food is delicious, all being made in house. We started with a Coccoli, light and full of taste! The Truffle Mushroom pizza will for sure make your taste buds sit up and say thank you! For dessert, don’t think twice about getting the Bomboloni, it would be your worst buyer’s remorse! Service is attentive but not overbearing, with suggestions that do not disappoint! Siena Tavern, go!
Service was excellent and food outstanding! It is always a must when in Chicago. The restaurant is always full of energy and the specialty cocktails are great!
The food is always great here. I work in the service industry so I hate to be harsh but our server almost ruined the night. I tried adding g something to my order and she walked away. Bringing in a birthday cake became the biggest hassle of all time with her. She didn’t seem to have much common sense. However, the food, atmosphere, and hosts were all quite pleasant. Many food options for both healthy and “cheat” meals. Gnocchi was phenomenal. I recommend this restaurant for a more casual get together. I would not have a party here again.
Showed up early for a reservation and they took us in immediately. Friendly service delicious food will definitely be back.
Food was fantastic! I will definitely go back! The space has great ambiance as well.
Excellent food and service.
The food was wonderful. Our waitress recommended a couple of different wines for us to taste and I found one I fell in love with! I would definitely go back to this restaurant
Fabulous!!! Siena Tavern never disappoints--at brunch I had the lobster hash with its perfect combination of rich savory eggs and truffled hollandaise over caramelized roasted vegetables and potatoes. They do great steak and eggs, burgers, hamachi crudo. Everything we've had--whether in one of their cozy banquettes on a freezing cold Saturday or on their outdoor terrace in the height of summer--has been amazing!
Great dinner!!! Homemade pastas were all amazing!!! Octopus was charred to perfection...I could’ve eaten that all night!
So hard to choose the best item on the menu...everything was outstanding! Amy was our server and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and her recommendations we spot on! We will be back :)

Great food and service! Love this place!
Service was excellent! The meals were prepared to to perfection. I rated 4 stars due to 1 out of 4 of my guests was not loving his dinner. It was good but thought it could be better. I had the brick chicken it was excellent! I would order that again! For apps we had the octopus and the meatball. Great choices!
I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu.
The bar area was hopping! It was considerably louder than where we were seated.
My friend and I are seniors so we wanted Italian casual. It was her birthday. The food was very good and plentiful, I took both boxes home and ate another day. I had told them it was her birthday so they provided a free sorbet with a candle. Nice touch!! The waiter was prompt and very knowledgeable.
We had a great experience. The food was outstanding and so was the waiter!
I used to love coming to Siena Tavern; the food was always so delicious and the atmosphere, while crowded and loud, was fun. I had a business meeting and decided we should come here for dinner- on a Monday- I made reservations, and we were seated pretty quick after all arrived. I have always loved the octopus appetizer, so we ordered that, but this time it wasn't nearly as good as I remember; the octopus was on the chewy side and it was always so tender previous times. It was very crowded and I think our server forgot we were there a few times. Took her a long time to come to us after she took the app order and drink order. As a matter of fact she didn't take our dinner order until after we had already finished the app. It is also not cheap at all; won't be going back- the hype may be over.
Great food, nice atmosphere, convenient location
The food lacked flavor.. the service was terrible... it was truly disappointing to spend $250 for a business lunch, where all felt like it was just okay... no one raved, and everyone was polite but wishing for taste... even after asking for pepper or more salad dressing... it was lacking. The waitress was awful.
