Service and food was excellent. We will definitely be returning.
Absolute perfect. The food was delicious. Service impeccable. Great date place or get together. Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere! Perfect for late night drinks. Highly recommend!
Wonderful as always with Siena tavern. Josh was the server
Was a great place to eat. We had gone there based on seeing & hearing reviews from other sites. Overall wasn't too bad.
WE LOVE THIS PLACE
Brought my aunt here from England and she absolutely loved it! The best Lasagna she has ever had! I love coming here anytime I am in the city.
We just checked out this place last weekend, I think it is fantastic, the place is really cool and the food is very interesting.
Being a new place we expected the service to be less than perfect but we were pretty impressed, prompt and accurate service, very nice waiters/waitresses.
The only thing we didn't like very much was how noisy the place was. The tables are very big and the volume of the music was so high that it was impossible to have a conversation with the people across the table. I think a place with such interesting food that is being shared should be more conducive to conversation.
So two pieces of advice, lower the music and keep working on the waiters knowing the menu, some dishes need a bit more explanation.
Had a wonderful experience. Our waitress (forget her name, very tiny and personable, blonde, had been there 5 years) was superb. She was attentive and helpful. We had the coccolini app which was so good. It was like a cream puff but not sweet and crusty on the outside. We put the prosciutto, cheese and honey inside. Two of us had the brick chicken which was moist and tasty. The crusty potatoes underneath were so good and the arugula salad offered a nice contrast. We had the monkeybread for dessert. Too good. The only slight negative is the level of loudness. Why are so many restaurants loud? I highly recommend this place. It was my second time there. There was also a very active bar scene and outdoor dining. I recommend reservations too. We got seated immediately.
I love this place hands down. I was in the hospital and my friends ask me where would I like to go for dinner after getting out. I suggested Siena Tavern. None of my friends had heard of it nor been there. Now every one is in love! One of my girlfriends said she is coming back to sit at the bar and flirt with all the men.
I must say that place attract some good looking men!
The ambiance is lovely at the Siena Tavern. We chose it for the outdoor dining but indoor is very nice also. I would not recommend it only because the menu felt limited to 5 high price entrees and some pasta dishes. There were a couple of interesting salads but in general, the menu is not that diverse.
I love Siena tavern for their fresh food and great service. The ambiance is also really cool with the lighting and outdoor seating.
Great Location for a date
Waiter was awesome. Table was great. Drinks were great. Food was great. Stayed for 3 hours and weren't rushed at all (granted it was a Sunday night.. but still).
My wife and I were on vacation. From the appetizer to the wine and dinner and dessert, the meal was perfection. The service was incredible. We started with the Hamachi appetizer which was like butter. The homemade pasta with lobster was beyond delicious. The homemade pasta was perfect just like the lobster. My wife had the salmon which was amazing. Our waitress assisted me with a wine selection which was great. It was a great meal while we were in Chicago. I could not recommend this restaurant any higher. We are from LA which has great restaurants, Siena Tavern tops them.
I always enjoy dining here especially in the summer outside! Great staff, food, and ambiance!
Great! great great!
Bloody Mary was all ice!
Food was good (beat salad & bacon omelet)
Great food and atmosphere! We will be back!
Food and staff were fantastic. Scary good. Will be back at the next opportunity.
Excellent service and good as always!
We went for a friends dinner. Great big menu with lots of salads and seafood. Good drink selection. Halibut and Brussels sprouts salad was the stand out.
Nothing went wrong
Siena Tavern is my River North go-to! I've been to the restaurant a dozen times and it's always so hard to choose from the amazing menu. The cocktails are unique and delicious! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Gluten free menu was great. I even got dessert. Will definitely come back. Food was amazing
I always enjoy visiting Siena Tavern. It's a great place for a drink with friends after work or a nice dinner for two. We actually came for my wife's birthday and they were wonderfully accommodating (we had two guests back out at the last minute and we also have a toddler with our party and they made sure we were very well taken care of). The food was great, the coccoli is a must have every time we go. We will be back for sure!
I enjoyed the food and our waitress (et al) was very good. The restaurant needs to have an area where screaming (or potentially screaming) babies can be seated so that the noise will not distract people expecting an expensive restaurant to provide a relaxing atmosphere. Granted, I do not understand why people bring an infant/toddler to an upscale restaurant, but since they do (and they cannot be expected to take them out if they are screaming) the restaurant needs a policy so that other diners do not have their experience ruined.
We love this place and so do our kids, who are not very adventurous about food but always find a pizza or pasta dish to love! Highly recommend...
Had been here once before and remembered it was delicious. Tonight did not disappoint, service was outstanding, very cool place in a great spot and food was delicious, again!
Great anniversary dinner.
This was my second time dining at Siena Tavern. Neither time disappointed.
Amazing brunch options!!! Their mimosa kit was great, though it doesn’t come with enough items. It could have had more fruit and their purses and orange juice could’ve been filled more.
The goat cheese and zucchini omelet was delicious!
The atmosphere is definitely great for a date night, too!
Wonderful Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. We were running very late, but hostess was very kind to hold our table and then she remembered the birthday without any prompting. Try the burrata with tomato jam, very tasty. The menu is diverse and interesting and the cocktails are just innovative enough to be interesting.
Excellent food and fabulous service! Great brunch menu!
Delicious pizza and pasta however the beet salad was the best!
First time we were here we thought the food and service was fabulous. Went for lunch yesterday and we were disappointed; food seemed average and we were inundated by busboys trying to remove our plates....had to tell them 6 times...no we are still eating! There were empty tables so there was no reason for the rush!
Fantastic food and our server Melody was the best! Great menu recommendations and she took good care of our table throughout the meal. Will definitely return!
