About Siena Tavern
A polished and energetic restaurant with Italian and Mediterranean cuisine curated by DineAmic Group's Chef/Partner, Fabio Viviani, also commonly known for his Celebrity Chef accolade as Bravo's "Top Chef Fan Favorite." The décor reflects a hybrid of a rustic Italian market, a fine dining restaurant and a modern, industrial tavern, bridging old world comfort and hospitality with a contemporary menu and design. When setting foot into this 10,000-square-foot eatery for lunch, dinner, late night cocktails or weekend brunch, you can expect to taste the same "from-scratch" Italian cooking fundamentals in pastas, pizzas, mozzarellas, gelato and everything between.

Siena Tavern Ratings and Reviews
We went for Sunday brunch and had the Siena Chopped Salad and Kale Salad with chicken added and both were excellent. Service was excellent and the ambience was cozy. They had their holiday decorations up and it was beautiful. I think this restaurant is popular for a reason.
Wedding Anniversary. You could not pay me to go back. Food was either super bland of over spiced. Server was non existent throughout most the meal. It was a rarity to be blessed with their presence. We arrived early 7 minutes. Empty restaurant... they had us wait at the bar for the 7 minutes till our reservation then took us to a table which was unoccupied the entire time we were waiting. Unreal experience. Chicago has much better options.
We brought friends from Texas to the restaurant to show them the great food we have in Chicago and this restaurant was great. One of our friends a young girl had dairy and gluten restrictions and our server knew what they could do to meet these restrictions and she had what she considered a very good meal.
The only complaint I have is I requested to have my leftover bagged but one dish was missing. We have spent enough money for our meal that I just didn’t want to put food into waste. I called the restaurant as soon as I got home and realized one dish was missing. I was put on hold for a long time and nobody got back to me.
Amazing restaurant !
Best grilled octopus ever! Mouth watering pork chop, leanest ever ! Incredible doughnut dessert.
Great sangria. This place is deserving of its accolades. Great food, very attentive and friendly service, and a beautiful setting. The whole package!
Your salads, salmon entrée, huge wagyu meatball appetizer are wonderful. No idea how you get so much flavor from your Harvest Salad but it is fantastic and has so many different flavors and textures. Honestly the meatball is large enough for someone trying to do no carbs and wants a filling meal. We got that as our appetizer between wife and I and probably more food than was needed as we had already ordered the salad and salmon. Love this restaurant and consistent tasty food choices!
I decided to take my mom here as part of her Christmas present. Everything about the place was phenomenal. We arrived extremely early to our reservation and they sat us no questions asked. Our server Jenni was outstanding. Took the time to explain things to us. Gave great recommendations. Another fantastic thing was the pacing of the entire meal. No part felt rushed or stacked on top of one another. Would easily come back and easily recommend to others.
Our recent visit to Sienna Tavern was exceptional. The food was tasty and also different, but still recognizable. The wine list was approachable and the wait staff were wonderful . We had a person in our party with a special diet and they did great fulfilling her requests.
We were disappointed with Siena Tavern. We had heard so many good things, but were disappointed in the menu. We also thought things were overpriced. I ended up getting a salad and it was just OK. My husband ordered a pizza and it really wasn't that great. We may go back, but it would only be for drinks. I will say, however, that the meatball appetizer was very good.
Amazing food, great service, terrific atmosphere. A group of 8 women gathered for a birthday celebration and it was perfect from beginning to end. The bruschetta and burrata starters were unique and delicious!!! The presentations were unexpected which made them even more enjoyable because we'd never had those items that way before. I shared a pizza which was excellent. Others had salads and sandwiches which were abundant and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. Great place. The birthday gelato and monkey bread were the perfect ending to a great experience.
Orecchiette was one of the best I’ve had!! We also had the Burnt Pepperoni Pizza for the table that was awesome too. My brother had brick chicken which was really good but not the stand out, and my mom had the short rib ravioli which she said was really good but a bit too meat-y for her.
The only thing I️ dock from the rating was the service, our waitress messed up my dish but never came back to our table after taking our order, so I️ didn’t have a chance to even tell her. She also seemed a bit rude and we barely saw her which was a bit off-putting. Also i️t was my mom’s birthday and we noticed other guests getting a free birthday dessert, but we did not :(((
Other than that, food was awesome!
Thanks to Ben, our server who got us Osso Bucco after telling us they were out of it. That’s all we came their for and was salvitating all week for it so, that was awesome! But was delicious!! My husband had lamb chops and they were very good, as well! My birthday gelato wS excellent-all in all, a great night!!
