Great service, good food, good atmosphere. I’ll be back again.
I am very disappointed that this was my first visit to the restaurant, because had I known how much we enjoyed it, it could have been a place we would have visited regularly over the past few years. The food and service were exceptional. We had a shaved Brussel sprout salad, spaghetti with jumbo lump crab in a delicious light creamy sauce, and a truffle mushroom pizza, and a beer. All were very delicious. The server was very helpful in recommending dishes and the service was excellent. When we return to this restaurant which will be soon, we will want to get a repeat of our choices because they were so good, but I guess we should try different items!
I brought a group of out-of-towers to Siena Tavern based upon a recommendation from my brother who is local to Chicago. We each ordered an array of appetizers, entrees, and cocktails - each one of them a delicious spin on a traditional favorite. The service was exceptional and the ambiance was comfortably hip and chic. I will be back and I’m confident that my dinner guests will be too!
Siena Tavern is amazing!! The wait staff are very attentive and the food is delicious!! I will definitely eat here again.
Our server was great, but we were seated later than our reservation, we had to ask for bread three separate times, the food came late, my entree came out wrong the first time (they had to remake), and the food quality was just... fine. We were also charged for the wrong table's food accidentally. Much better spot for post-work happy hour than meeting up for fine dining. That being said, we really did have a great server.
Excellent food and service. The homemade pasta was outstanding!
Yummy food and wine -always a favorite place for a quick bite
The truffle scrambled eggs from the brunch menu were delicious!
We met a friend for brunch on a beautiful Saturday-a crazy time around the river. But we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely setting, great food and attentive service at Sienna Tavern.
Great food and drinks-enough to remain satisfied until evening.
P.S. Our friend lives in Trump Tower and remarked at how reasonable the meal was.
Long wait time despite reservation, but great food and service
Amazing grilled octopus as always
We were in Chicago to see Hamilton and arrived later than anticipated into O'Hare. Sienna Tavern was holding a reservation for us that we were forced to change at least 3 times. The staff were so amenable to all of our change requests and even remembered to help us celebrate our anniversary when we arrived with gratuitous glasses of champagne. The late night vibe was great; lots of cheerful people but you could still have a private conversation. It was a beautiful night for the outdoor patio, too. We split the kale salad, my husband had the brick chicken which he could eat without a knife it was so tender and I ordered the wild mushroom/truffle tagliatelle which was simply outstanding!!! The wine list is definitely overpriced but if you are celebrating a special occasion and feel you can splurge, go for it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely revisit the next time I am in Chicago.
Enjoyed fantastic food, wine and service. Loved it!
Not great as ratings suggest. Noisy, bar food of no distinction and expensive by Chicago standards
One of my fave places for outdoor dining italian. very pet friendly and I love the wine list and pizza choices...
Siena Tavern never fails to disappoint. Everything was delicious and the service is always too-notch. It is hard to get a reservation here for a reason—it’s not all hype.
First time dining at Siena Tavern, enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent.
We sat on the patio and had a fantastic brunch! The service and quality of food were fantastic!! I highly recommend the Lobster Hash and a side order of Parmesan Potatoes.
I eat here at least 6 times per year. This time I organized another group dinner for people that traveled from Tampa, Milwaukee, Cleveland and Palm Coast. Everyone loved their experience and they made my friends birthday brunch amazing.
Food and service were great, highly recommend the lobster hash, so good.
Arrived early for our reservation and was told I'd get a text when table was ready. Asked how long when 15min late and was told they were waiting for us...no text.
Gnocchi had little flavor and baked lasagna was so hot it took 15min to cool off to eat it.
Waiter disappeared after food arrived. When he finally got to us I said we'd been trying to get him for a while. He immediately left and 30sec later he threw the bill on the table. Never asked if food was ok. Never asked about dessert.
First time I left zero tip. Disappointed because we picked the restaurant for our anniversary
It was our second time eating here and it was as good, if not better than the first. Service was informative and helpful. Food was ridiculously good for all six of us.
The homemade pasta was well made, the sauce was excellent and the crab in the sauce was tasty and properly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
It was my boyfriend and I’s first time going to Sienna Tavern and it was definitely one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. We had a server named KJ and she made our experience amazing. The food was great and the restaurant is nice. We will definitely be coming back and will speacially request KJ.
Loved it! Food was delicious. My husband had the scallops, I had the chopped salad. Fresh and tasted so good! Drinks were awesome also. Definitely coming back!
We’ve been to Bar Siena and we expected the food to be as good. It was nowhere near as good so we will not be back. Also, we were there to celebrate two birthdays, and the food was so disappointing that we did not order dessert.
Food was creative and very good. Service was attentive. But bring earplugs, it is extremely noisy.
The whole staff was very accommodating! The food was delicious!
I highly recommend it!
Dinner was delicious....waiter very attentive and friendly....place was gorgeously decorated and comfy and romantic!! Gnocchi and burnt pepperoni pizza out if this world !!!!
A definite must go to for any occasion!
We went for our anniversary and were greeted with 2 delicious glasses of bubbly 😁
Have consistently had good food and good service at Siena Tavern. Had a great server that was ready to share recommendations. The Alaskan Halibut and the Salmon were both great choices. Watermelon salad starter and shaved Brussels sprouts starter were also great. Will look forward to our next visit as it always good.
We’ve only ever had dinner here, but after Brunch yesterday, we will definitely make it one of our go to brunch spots.
If you go, you must try the biscuits and gravy!
Consistently grea spot for brunch...from bombilinos to monkey bread to lobster hash and shaved Brussels sprout salad along w Mimosas and Bloodies-flavors abound!
We were in town for overnight and found place on line. The menu had a lot of choices, and intersting ones at that. I had French toast which was outstanding and my wife had omelet which stayed warm through out and was delicious
The food was good as well as the friendly but not over done service.
Food was great. Really good energy. Service was very slow...
Slow service today but great food and nice staff
Everything is wonderful! From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out.
Who knew that an Italian restaurant would have THE BEST Lamb Chops I have ever eaten?!
We had a reservation but we were early so we ended up getting a drink at the back bar. The bartender was very nice so we ended up getting comfy there so we decided to eat our meal at the bar. The Gnocchi and the Wagyu meatball were amazing!
Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere.
This was our first time at Siena and it didn’t disappoint. We’ve been trying to dine here and when we did...wow! The food was amazing and the service was awesome. Our server, John, was attentive but not excessive. The gelato flight was a fun way to do dessert. The chicken diavolo was delicious and the gnocchi as well. I’m so glad they make their own pastas. We will definitely be back.
