we sat outside on the patio which was quaint and quiet (when we went inside to use restrooms we noted that the restaurant was pretty loud so I'm glad we dined outside). The menu is diverse with many options so it was really hard to choose. We started with drinks and appetizers; meatballs and crispy brussel sprouts=DELISH! Unfortunately only house wines are available by the glass; all the good stuff is by-the-bottle only but I managed to get a pretty good sangiovese blend by the glass. For dinner I had braised short rib ravioli (TO DIE FOR) and hubby had steak tips (REALLY GOOD BUT NOT THE BEST HE EVER HAD). The prices and service are great. We took my left over ravioli home and had it for dinner the next night and it was still delish. Can't wait to go back!
All in all, a first-rate experience. Great food, nice folks, and table was available for the time we reserved it (don't laugh, that's more the exception than the rule around here). We went with dinner entrees rather than the pizza, but the pizzas on the tables nearby looked great, too.
Would definitely do it again, and possible couple it up with a movie before or after at the theater next door.
Conveniently located, good food, our constant major complaint is it is so noisy with bad acoustics, that we cannot hear people across the table from us while we’re trying to have a conversation .
We had the wing appetizer which was quite good. I had a pasta and sausage special that was very bland and my friend had the veal saltimbocca, the veal was fine but the pasta was in a puddle of olive oil with no taste. Cocktails were good as was the service. I would recommend the pizza here - always good.
Food is always consistent. Service is always just ok. Noise level was very loud. We waited a long tine for our food.
It met my expectations because it’s always like this.
We’ve been here many times and the experience is consistently very good. The wine list is very good with some real bargains on bottle pricing.
Service that night was bad. She forgot to bring a dish for the shells for the fish stew. She did not bring a steak knife for my steak. The mash potatoes were so spicy that two of us could not eat them. the noise level ids always high there. The ciopino was excellent and my steak was very good. The other 2 diners ordered the veal and were given 2 cutlets that were not very big. Considering what we paid for the meal, it certainly wasn't worth it.
We've have dined at Siena many times and have NEVER been disappointed. Rather than for select one our favorites for dinner, like Chicken Parm or Steak tips we were in the mood for lobster which was a special. Our lobster fra diavolo was fantastic. Over 1/2 lb of quality lobster meat over linguini cooked perfectly was a steal for under $30!! You will probably see us at a table labor day weekend enjoying a great bottle of wine from their terrific selection and ordering the lobster if still available or an old time favorite. You will not be disappointed at Siena!!
Always reliable. We usually dine there before a play or concert.
We had an excellent server and the food was great. We’ve been to this restaurant a few times and the food is consistently delicious. It is little bit pricey tho and it took quite a long time to get our food. We were there over an hour before receiving our meals. I think there was a very large party seated before us so the kitchen may have been backed up for that reason. Overall a very positive experience and I would go here for dinner again. Also handicapped accessible!
Enjoyed our meal. Our server, Colleen was very attentive.
The food was delicious. The basket of bread arrived late arriving right before the meal came.
Everything was fine except it was VERY noisy!!! Couldn't hear our dinner partners.
Terribly noisy. Frenetically busy. Service slow. My chicken piccata was swimming in sauce, so that the mashed potatoes were completely melted into nothing, as in part of the sauce! And the chicken was tough.
I love anchovies, but the ones they served with the Caesar salad(and which came when we were half finished eating the salad) were terrible. Very poor quality.
We have eaten at Siena before and always been pleased, but this meal was not good at all.
Always perfection between the food and the drinks. Our wait staff was attentive and always readily available when we needed more of anything .
Excellent food and service by the waitress Katerina. It was an excellent meal experience
I thought the food was overpriced for the portion size. I ordered a "large" salad with grilled salmon--the salad turned out to be barely bigger than the size of a standard side salad, and the salmon was decent but not outstanding. It's VERY noisy, so I could barely hear what my friend was saying even though we were seated at 2-person table. The waiter was attentive, but not overly so (I don't like overly-attentive waiters!) . Overall the meal was average, the place was noisy and the waiter was good.
Siena consistently delivers with excellent food, experienced staff, friendliness, and specials. We go frequently.
Fun restaurant with good service. Our waitress
accommodated our separate check request.
Siena is a very good restaurant with delicious Italian offerings. Our service was outstanding and the dessert was to die for.
First time there. Food was absolutely terrific. Service at the bar was good. We’ll be back.
Food, drinks and service great, but very noisy, hard to have a conversation.
We were here years ago and it was much better. This is our second time in a week, and I will not go back. Service tonight was not good. Waiter was not friendly and seemed to be in a rush. It was not busy at 4:30 pm. He would leave the table before I even finished my request and his response to most of or requests is that ‘we don’t do that’.” I asked for bread and oil for me without garlic and he said “we can’t do that “! I said , but they served me that last week . Finally, once my husband insisted and asked him again, the waiter agreed to bring us bread and oil without garlic. We also asked for 1/2 and 1/2 pizza and he said “ we can’t do that” .... etc . Needless to say , we will not go back.
Casual spot w plenty of seating. Good menu selection but food is just average. Pasta dishes need to be sauced in the pan, instead the sauce was just ladled on top. Pizza is decent.
Very limited GF luncheon menu. Others liked their sandwiches though.
Good food good service, and the staff are are alway friendly.
This was our second meal at Siena and it was as delicious as our first! Our waiter, Susie, was very knowledgeable about the dishes and helped us to select an excellent meal. She was attentive and friendly without hovering. We sat outside for our dinner which was the perfect ambience. I highly recommend!
Great food and good atmosphere
The food was delicious and the waiter very helpful, attentive, courteous and friendly. There were four of us and we all had a good time.
Siena is consistent. However, they seemed a bit overwhelmed the night we were there. Our waiter didn't have much personality and seemed like he was just going through the motions. Dinner was delicious and we really like it there overall!!
Enjoyed our meal with friends. The food was good, we were able to sit outside which was fun, and could have good conversation. The service was a little slow, but the waitress was very personable and accommodating.
Up until this last visit, I have found the pizza at Siena to be outstanding. This time it was a big disappointment. The amount of vegetables on the veggie pizza was laughably small. I ordered it without the mushrooms. I didn’t mind so much that they brought it out with the mushrooms ( I could pick around them), but there was very little else. Also, the service was just fair. Our server was a charming young woman, with a big smile: but she totally neglected our water and iced tea glasses- kept looking for refills. I left with a negative overall impression. I’ll probably try it again in the future, but I’m not rushing back. Too bad!
Was very nice!
Great service, very good food, reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful summer evening on the patio
We were sat promptly at our table on the patio, friendly hostesses and friendly server who was attentive to all our needs. We had delicious cocktails from their specialty drinks menu and had a wonderful meal to follow..
highly recommend Siena
We eat at Sienna all of the time. The food is great and consistent. The manager is terrific and the service is always good.
Very dried out meals! I had a risotto that tasted like it was made with instant rice. My husband had veal parmigiana which was oversauced and dry. I have had better meals there at other times and its' location is convenient for doing other things in Mashpee Commons. Service was good and efficient.
We had a great time celebrating a birthday. The manager event took a photo of us and gave it to us on our way out. The food was great and service excellent.
I continue to be impressed with the service, food and consistency that is the hallmark of Siena. I have compared the quality of their food with some of the best restaurants in Boston's North End. I may love wine as much as the food and the vast selection of both Italian and California wines in their cellar maybe the best on the Cape. Why go out and enjoy dinner and be limited to less than 10 bottles of white and 10 bottles of red? From very affordable to top end there is a wine selection for you at Siena that will add to a great dinner. Enjoy Siena and find a wine to your taste and not simply the restaurant's liking.
Siena is a great spot for authentic Italian food and enjoyable outdoor dining.
We were a group of seven and work easily accommodated in there and bought door seating. Our server was engaging and friendly. We will surely be back.
