Siena Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
First time visiting for dinner - had previously only gone in for drinks, and the bartender's attentiveness made us want to come back and try the food!
We were a party of 2 couples.
Started with excellent cocktails and yummy bread and oil.
Shared the Calamari - HUGE portion. Very tasty. 2 of us had the Cioppino - delicious! Chock full of seafood. One in the group had the steak tips (and had enough to bring home for lunch), and the 4th had the short ribs and enjoyed them. All in all, a great meal and I feel an excellent value.
Good sized portions. We'll return!
Made a reservation for 7 pm and was seated promptly upon arrival. Great and attentive service and plenty of options for dinner with a variety of nice specials. The food is always good and very consistent. Great for families, a night out or a larger group... best part is they are always open in the Cape's winter off-season!
We enjoy dining at Sienna. The food is always great. My Son's favorite is the short rib ravioli -absolutely delicous. I had the roast Chicken special and it was perfect. The service is always good. We were there on a busy Saturday night, but we were served promptly and never rushed through our meal. I highly recommend Sienna
Siena is one of our go to places. You can dress up or go casual. The food is consistently good and they know how to make a proper Cosmo with the dirty ice on the side. It's a nice atmosphere and very popular, especially in the summer so a reservation is a good idea. It's located in a wonderful neighborhood with a movie theatre and lots of shops so after lunch it's a great place to spend the day or take in a movie after dinner
We enjoyed our dinner on Saturday night. We were seated immediately and our waiter arrived quickly. We shared an appetizer and we all had a small portion dinner. I love that Sienna has smaller plates as an option. Our only complaint is the noise level. But, we knew what we were getting into when we made the reservation. We had a corner table, so the noise didn't seem as bad as in the past. We will return.
I eat here frequently and the food is consistently good. On this evening we were seated next to an extremely noisy group on one side and a screaming baby on the other. You couldn't hear what the people in my group were saying. I do understand that you can't get a baby to stop screeching but no one went over to the group of men and ask them to lower their voices.
Dinner at Siena was fabulous once again! We started with the Mediterranean salad which was fresh and flavorful. Salmon, Chicken Piccata, Filet and and Alfredo dish were all perfectly prepared! Our Server Kelly was fantastic as well! Always enjoy Dinner at Siena!!
Sadly, my last visit to Siena was not great. One of the people in my party ordered the prime rib special and it was undercooked and cold, but he was too fearful to send it back. The service was so slow that the waitress didn't make it back to our table for the fresh grated cheese until we were half done with our meals. And the servers brought out food out before she knew it so we didnt have the proper utensils to eat with until later. Waitress was very nice but so busy she couldn't keep up. It was also very loud in the restaurant, the high ceilings didn't help (buffer). The rest of our food was very good though. May or may not go back.
Siena is always a good place for a meal, with or without friends. Salad and soup were delicious, as usual. Yummy bread and dipping oil. I ordered the lunch portion of Chickan Parmesan. It was tasty but the tomato sauce had a "bite" to it. I would have preferred the chicken breast to have been pounded a bit (it was a little tough) and plain breading in place of the seasoned that was used. With the sharpness of the tomato sauce, there were too many flavors going on. I didn't catch the name of our server but he showed just the right amount of attentiveness and he had a nice, friendly personality. We made the switch from Sweet Tomatoes to Siena when the place changed hands years ago and we will continue to be loyal customers.
We have a split decision on this restaurant. I was happy with my sandwich a chicken Caesar salad wrap but my husband was unhappy with his grilled chicken panini. He didn't like the smoked mustard mayo and ordered more plain mayo as the sandwich was so dry. He said it didn't have any flavor and when we got home poured honey mutated all over the other half he saved to get some taste.
We sat outside which was very pleasant until a young family arrived with a screeching child. I know that can't be helped but we were there to meet friends we hadn't seen in a long while so conversation became difficult.
The service was excellent and I had hoped the meal would go better. Maybe next time but my husband won't go back.
I was there with a friend. We sat outside as it was a beautiful evening & it was noisy inside. We enjoyed a cocktail that was one of their $5.00 specials. My friend & I split the vegetable platter appetizer & four cheese pizza. Both excellent. Service was good.
We have been going to Sienna for years and have found it to be a reliable restaurant for good food at a decent price in a very pleasant atmosphere. Yesterday I had lunch there with a friend and we both had the caprese salad with grilled chicken. It was fantastic. The tomatoes were ripe natives and the mozzarella was fresh. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the dish was drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was a perfect lunch dish. Additionally, our server brought bread, a focaccia, with a dipping oil that has parmesan and herbs....very tasty. I often recommend this place because we have never been disappointed. The only thing that I wish was better is the restrooms. There are two unisex restrooms and they have never been as clean as I think they should be, especially for a restaurant of this calibre.
We have been to sienna numerous times and it is always a place for great authentic food.
We went with friends and they were quite impressed that it was so nice. Staff is attentive and thorough, setting is casual.
Leave room for the Tirimisu as it will melt in your mouth.
We went on a Saturday night in the summer and it was very busy. The noise level in the restaurant was unbearable and made the entire experience unpleasant with the exception of our server who was very attentive and the food. However, if you are looking for a place to enjoy dinner with friends, I would advise against it unless you eat outside, which is a bit quieter. I do recommend for lunch since the place is a lot quieter and you are able to enjoy the food and not rush out before your ear drums burst.
Siena is a great go to local restaurant. We often go there for a late night bite and easy good meal. It is one of our more frequented restaurants in the Mashpee area. They have very good pizza, salads and nice Siena blend wine. I highly recommend it as it appeals to all ages. I also love that we can make a reservation.
The food was very good but the server could have been a robot. She was inattentive, never asked if we wanted more drinks and seemed disengaged entirely. I am a generous tipper and felt the 10% tip was more than she deserved. We wanted to complain to the hostess but she was not to be found. The restaurant is loud and it was hard to have a conversation. Overall food gets a thumbs up but was brought down from service.
We made reservations for a group of 15. We were informed by Melissa, the manager , when we arrived that we were not able to be seated together. Fine, then you shouldn't open yourself to large groups if you can't accommodate them. We were seated, informed our server that two children in our party have peanut and tree nut allergies and order beverages. We also state we would like to order straight away as the kids are very hungry. He left with our drink order and didn't return until 15- 20 minutes later, & upon delivering a water to one of the kids with an allergy making the comment "and here is your special peanut water". We were unaware of the comment until much later, or we would have addressed it right then. We ordered immediately and reiterated how hungry the kids were - lunch took an HOUR to arrive. Our waiter busied himself around the restaurant during that time, studiously avoiding our attempts to get his attention. When lunch finally begins to stagger out, the kids meals were last to arrive. At the end of our meal our waiter issued a halfhearted apology and announced they were sending over a dessert "on the house". The manager then came over to help deliver said dessert, and issued a very quick "sorry for your wait" and was gone. The dessert? Sloppily quartered pieces of tiramisu - WHO DOES THAT?! Ridiculous. You have lost our business at both Siena & Tavalino
