Besides the crispy, perfectly cooked calamari, our server Susie was a delight. So welcoming and personable, she made our dinner special.
Plenty to chooose from off menu; Food great: staff knowledgeable and friendly
The food was outstanding and so was the service. The outdoor dining is very nice.
Great service, friendly servers and food was very good!
As always, fast super service and very good meal.
We made the reservation on Open Table and asked for an outdoor table with umbrella coverage. My husband is disabled and his medication interacts with sunlight. They sat us at a table with an umbrella with little shade coverage. The umbrellas were to small and too high over the table. Before long we were in full sun. When I asked the waitress to speak to the manager she came back and said there was nothing they could do. There was a four top in full shade at the time. We have lived in Mashpee for 32 years and have gone to this restaurant since it opened. Both our meals were lousy. Sooo very disappointed! Not even close to sister restaurant Tavolinos. I would suggest they train their dining manager and replace the inadequate umbrellas.
I had dinner with three girlfriends service was exceptional and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Bolognese and had enough for lunch the next day. Two of my friends had the cod and loved it and the other enjoyed her steak. Bread and dip was wonderful. Good wine selection.
Great staff service...Suzzy
Food delicious ambiance great.
Sienna is always an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
the four of us all enjoyed our meals, as usual. The only issue was that it was so loud, hard to hear waitress and people at our table
From the scowling waitress to the mushy scallops to the tiny cramped table piled with pizza stands at our elbows, the entire experience at Siena was less than stellar. We will not return. There are many other places to eat in the area that are far superior in every way.
Delicious food. The grilled artichoke app was scrumptious! After several nights of lobster and seafood I was craving good Italian food and we weren’t disappointed. We’re from the Miami area and Siena reminded us of the better places we find in upscale Miami Beach. We loved it here and our server Michella was terrific. My only tiny issue was not finding a big California cab by the glass. A wonderful experience overall!
Everything great. Need to upgrade outdoor furniture quality
Great food and service
enjoyable, good food, would/will go again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Food was great. Everyone at our table was very happy with their meal. I love that they have so many gluten free options (even meatballs!). If you're looking for a quiet date spot, this isn't it - it's very loud inside and a lot of families with kids. But outdoor patio is great (and a lot quieter).
We made a reservation weeks in advance and asked for outside. When they made a confirm call they again asked if we wanted outside. When we arrived they told us 30 min wait for outside. Offered to seat us inside right away, which at 7:20 with kids we felt compelled to do. One inside room is lively and at least part of the outdoor scene... we got stuck in back corner of crappy back room. I’m sure many walk ins fared better that we did with our month plus old reservation. Gotta learn how to prioritize better! Food was solid, entrees much better than starters. Won’t rush back though.
Food is average but on Cape Cod in the summer getting a table can be tough. Been here a bunch, usually only when nothing else is available. Wish it was better, decent as a last resort. Service is pretty good for the Cape but food not so much.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The server, Suzie, was very attentive and informative. The wine list is very good and the higher priced wines are very reasonable in comparison to retail prices. For example, a 2013 Tignanello was listed at $105 and a 2013 Opus One at $230. I’ve seen retail liquor store prices higher for these wines. I’d highly recommend Siena for both couples and families.
Had the calamari and must say it was one of the best I have had in a long while. Will try the meatball appetizer next time we go as I saw someone have it and it looked appealing and probably tasty like the calamari. We had a margarheta (sp) and the crust was the way I liked it as well as the pizza having a great taste to it. The waiter was friendly and professional as well as the wait staff. Overall a really good restaurant and definitely will go back again.
If you're going - have a fabulous cocktail and stick to the pizza menu. Entrees were completely disappointing from tasteless Spaghetti Pomodoro to cold sides accompanying the Cod to stingy mozzarella on the Caprese salad which was extremely overpriced!
High point is the Steak Tagliata during the summer. A delicious, healthy summer meal.
For wine, Siena serves Quatrinos — at least two glasses. They also have $5 drinks. A real treat.
You can also skip dessert and just have an espresso, which comes with a biscotti.
Siena is always a treat.
After 50 years in national sales and dining across America I always looked forward to my Saturday Night date with my wife at Siena. No surprises just consistency in quality and service. If Siena had sister restaurants in San Diego, Miami or Dallas I would frequent them on my numerous visits. All of that makes Siena in Mashpee special for my wife and I as well as our other family members and friends who visit and dine with us.
That have a very tasty vegan menu. Great, friendly service.
Our waiter was just not good.
Siena is consistently a good place to go with friends for a fun casual meal. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the area and we frequent it often. They have great salads and pizza as well as prepared dishes. A favorite is their chicken parmesan. I also love their Tuscan blend red wine.
Consistently delicious food. Menu is consistent, always with new dishes. Drinks are excellent , service is always wonderful. Portions are always generous and if you choose, you can get a smaller portion.
The location was perfect for three couples who wanted a convenient place to see on Cape Cod.
The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. The best part was that we were able to have a conversation and everyone at the table could participate and hear each other.
We dined at Siena on Saturday evening. We were seated in the upstairs dining room. There was a birthday party at one of the tables and the noise level was so high, we could hardly hear ourselves talk. The acoustics in the room were awful with the high ceiling. The server was pleasant but not attentive. The food was fair. Both my pasta and my husband's lacked salt and adding it after is just not the same. Shrimp however were nicely prepared with a browned crust. Desserts were ok. Tiramisu was soggy but tasted good. Chocolate cake was fine. I sometimes feel as though when I book with Open Table, I am seated in a less than prime location.
Great food and desserts. Best Calamari on Cape. I bring my wife here every mothers day.
Celebrated mother's day with my wife and two sons. Food was exceptional as was the service.
Very disappointing. Food was sub-par for the price point. Caesar salad dressing tasted like mayonnaise, garden salad dressing was all vinegar. Chicken piccatta was served with garlic mashed potatoes that tasted like they were in the refrigerator for days and broccolini that was swimming in the overly lemon flavored sauce. At least the chicken was tender, though my dog got at least half of it ... my husband's chicken parm with spaghetti wasn't any better than the local sub shop.
Would I go back? Maybe for pizza, that's about it. Certainly not for an Italian dinner - too many better places.
Very pleased as always. Food quality is good as is the service. It has become a stand by for us. The wings are special and we opted for the pizza this time. The crust is thin and the ingredients are excellent. Too cold to dine outside but the outdoor seating is very nice.
The veal parmesan dinner was not up to Siena's usual standards during this visit, but I was told the veal piccata was very good. The food seems to be hit or miss. At this price point I would expect consistently high quality dinners.
Family gathering and favorite restaurent. Have shared many occassions there through the years and always enjoy.
Siena is consistently excellent. The service is second to none. I am Italian and went to school in the North End. On Cape Cod, this is North End dining. Melissa and Megan are tops. We dine here frequently because the quality of food is excellent. The service is second to none. Try Siena once and you will become a regular as well.
Had a wonderful Easter dinner. Great food. Nice to be able to eat off the regular menu as well as a special Easter menu. Ended with a gift from the restaurant with everyone getting a personal home bake bread and were also given two coupons for the restaurant . Would go again for a special occasion or anytime at that.
Everything was great. Louder than I would like but won’t keep us from going back.
