                                                                                                                      Had a lovely lunch after a visit to the Metropolitan Museum. One in my party had the octopus salad, the octopus was cooked perfectly! Not always the case in many restaurants. Amen that offers light fare as well as a full lunch.

                                                                                                                      I was hoping to love this place based off of the decor, how busy it was every time I walked by, and the menu… It was very busy and loud, to the point I felt like I was screaming to the person across from me. The hostess had a terrible attitude. The service was ok and the food was ok. I won’t be running back here.

                                                                                                                      We met my cousins for breakfast there because they had reservations open at the time we needed for brunch. The service was good. The coffee was awful. And given that is one of the things I look for in a restaurant, it really undermined the experience for all of us. Otherwise the food was flavorful if standard fare.

                                                                                                                      I’ve never felt so rushed at a restaurant — it was almost comical. We hadn’t even finished our appetizer before the entrées arrived, and the moment we took our last bite, our plates were whisked away and we were immediately asked about dessert. Even as we were leaving, we were told to move quickly because of food trays coming through.

                                                                                                                      The food was good but it is si loud you really can’t enjoy the beautiful ambience. The atmosphere does not match the loud, thumping music. Not sure what they are thinking. Maybe to attract kids right out of high school?

                                                                                                                      From the food, to the service, to the ambiance, Siena Cafe is totally OUTSTANDING! It is absolutely the best food on the upper east side! The waitstaff is amazing, as are the bartenders.

                                                                                                                      The food is so good. The fresh pasta is amazing. We've been several times and it has not disappointed. Can't wait to go back for the eggplant parmigiana.
