We'll be back! We absolutely loved the upstairs space; the little nook with the banquette was everything we wanted it to be. Our server was so attentive, kind and helpful. The food was fantastic -- wonderful flavors and presentation. We ordered everything to share, which was absolutely perfect. We loved the homemade pretzels with chicken liver pate and the roasted cauliflower. Then we enjoyed the beet salad, the scallops, and lobster bisque. Finished with the brûlée banana tart, cappuccino and after dinner drinks. Can't say it enough -- we'll be back!
Excellent food and ambience. Seated with complimentary sparkling roses portions were on the smaller side but the food was outstanding. I will likely return.
What an awesome place. It’s a hidden gem. Everything is done so perfectly from the ambiance, to the finishes of the restaurant. Spotless bar and dining area. Service was superb. We had a table of 7 and everyone loved their food even with some food allergies which had to be accommodated. Highly recommend.
Dinner at Siempre Algo was top notch. Really enjoyed the food and the service was on point the entire meal. Cocktails options were varied and the two my wife and I picked were unique and well-made. We started with the cauliflower and shrimp ceviche and they were enough food to whet your appetite for the next round but not too small to share. We both got the beet salad which was amazing. Our entrees were well put together and the portions struck the right balance between filling you up but leaving just enough room for desert. For desert we split the butterscotch and a glass of port at the recommendation of our waitress and it was the perfect ending to our dinner. Space is small but cozy and the tables are a touch on the close side but this didn’t hamper our experience as the restaurant was less than full during the time we were there. Prices match the quality of the food but not so much that you have to reserve this place for a special occasion. Overall 5 stars and looking forward to the next time we have the opportunity to dine there.

Wow! What a FANTASTIC experience. The service and quality of food is top notch. Our server, Kristen, was friendly and extremely attentive (not in an overbearing way at all) and helped us dodge the rowdy table next to next to us by reseating us. We got the blue crab dip, lobster bisque, sweetbread (mushroom crostini), roasted chicken, and seafood capresso. We will definitely be coming back here. Additionally, the cocktails are also fabulous. The clementine smash was so refreshing. You will not regret booking a reservation here! You’ll regret it if you don’t.
Dinner was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the crab dip starter.
The service was wonderful from the young man who greeted us when we entered; the bartender while we waited for our table (we were a bit early) and the waiter who took care of us upstairs. All were so pleasant and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The food was awesome. There were five of us and we were all very pleased with our selections. We had a lovely evening and great food.

Started out with a small glass of cava brought by the waiter....just got better from there. The bartender is an excellent mixologist..the Bourbon/citrus/mint cocktail was perfection! Out waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The food was excellent. Everyone was extremely happy with their entree as well as the yummy appetizers. This place is a keeper!
Exceptional food, beautiful presentation, top-notch service, and absolutely loved the decor and ambiance. Also loved the two different areas, as the upstairs was quieter and slightly more formal/romantic, and downstairs was more lively/more of a scene. Reminds me of my favorite places in NYC. PGH needs more places like this. Will definitely be back.

Went for Valentine’s Day. Prefix menu with a number of selections. All was delicious service got mixed but management made it work. Always very happy with food and bar service:table service has always been just okay.
Every course was exceedingly well done, from the beet salad to the grilled Spanish octopus to the perfectly well done pork shoulder.
The second floor has a different vibe, quieter and calmer, a little too living roomish.
we dined here for Valentine’s Day and I cannot say more good things about our experience! The atmosphere, food, and service was out of this world. I cannot wait to go back and dine here again!

What a lovely evening! We had dinner with another couple and choose to take the restaurant's BYOB option. Service was excellent, opening bottles and providing glassware. Hubby and I both had the red snapper as our entrees with a crab dip and bitter greens starter.

Food and wine are superb. Chef truly is amazing---food is fresh and not overly salty or seasoned (which seems to be happening a lot in other restaurants). Siempre Algo is a top choice!
My second time there Both experiences were incredible the food and service were both impeccable. The only thing I was sad about is that you no longer had the “hummingbird “ cake available this time ( I think that was the name). I always recommend your restaurant to everyone that is looking for a fantastic place to dine
Sat down and given a glass of champagne! What a nice welcome. Our waiter was great. I. Wish I could remember his name but he made out meal even better!! Nice wine list and cocktail menu we all had something different and everyone agreed they were awesome. We had the pretzel appetizer with the pâté, which was delicious!! We also had the cauliflower appetizer which was also good. Our main courses were also quite tasty. I has the chickpea pancake and really enjoyed it. The others had the seafood dish and the pork. They also enjoyed theirs. We didn’t have much room for dessert but had to have the popsicle whack was delicious. Overall we had a great experience and will be back

I had the braised pork shoulder special. It was probably the best dinner that I have had in Pittsburgh in some time. The crab dip was phenomenal. The drinks were perfect. The service was impeccable. Truly a great experience. I can’t recommend Siempre Algo enough.
One of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. I have gone 5 or 6 times, and it has never disappointed. The menu is always changing, but some of their classic dishes, such as the roasted cauliflower appetizer are always on the menu.
This was our first visit to this restaurant, which was highly recommended by a friend. The service and the ambience are excellent--small and sophisticated. We started with the shrimp ceviche on homemade tortilla chips and it was excellent--salty, sweet and crunchy! We loved it. As entrees, we had a vegan chick pea tart, which was both delicious and filling and the steak entree was cooked and served beautifully. This restaurant is the type of intimate place that you'd likely make your regular go-to place. We really enjoyed it and will definitely visit again and again.
We were so pleasantly surprised to discover Siempre Algo, which has taken over a space on the stretch of East Ohio Blvd just west of 279 on the North Side, which in the past was a pretty sketchy stretch of establishments. Things have come a long way, though, and this cozy, simple neighborhood restaurant has a friendly, knowledgable staff, a thoughtful wine and drink selection, and a diverse and TASTY menu. We sampled the Charred Shishito Peppers, the Sweetbreads, the Mediterranean Socca Tart, and the Cassola, and all were completely delicious. Will definitely be adding this to our list of regular stops.
Truly fabulous food and a great atmosphere. 10 out of 10. Chef Brain is amazing and the service was exceptional. Wonderful cocktail menu and fair prices. I will be back!!!
We had a couple of the days specials. The Arctic char was excellent. Service was warm and responsive. Freezy pops for dessert were unique. All dishes were excellent

We had a great evening at Siempre Algo on Saturday. Our server, Bryan was very knowledgable about the food and wine menus. Our meals were prepared to perfection. Blue Crab Dip, Casuolo, and the Arctic Char were flavorful and well seasoned. After dinner, we enjoyed drinks at the bar and the Blood Orange Olive oil Cake. The barista, Jessica was very skilled at making and serving our drinks and was a lot of fun.
