Join us on our dog-friendly outdoor patio, inside at one of our comfortable window view tables, or take a seat at the copper bar and enjoy Chef Amol’s delicious menu of appetizers, salads, pastas, burgers, fish, chicken and steak. Add in inventive and delicious craft cocktails from Bar Manager Ben and we've got you covered for the evening. We offer a rotating weekly mussel special, private event bookings, and offer takeout as well. Pop in after a long day’s work, on your way to or from the farmer’s market or before catching a flick at Grand Lake Theater.

I so love this place and I’m so sad they are closing. It is a big loss to Oakland and the Lakeshore neighborhood. And of course my dinner was amazing as always.

Sadly, this is the final week for Sidebar and we enjoyed it as always...but we will continue to go to Bardo (same owners and close by.

I've been going here for years. The new ownership is doing a great job! The food and service (and drinks) are always dependable. Great neighborhood place.

Fantastic staff, fun and creative appetizers, and an ever evolving beverage program. If you want a neighborhood cozy spot with a great ambience than you should give Sidebar a try.
