I had a Caesar. It was a bar concoction. They had it super spicy. I think they should have Clamato tame Caesars and then have their formula for people who are adventurous. The drink was unnecessarily hot. Onion rings were tops. Very small space but would go back. Great idea to eat before going to the music hall next door.

Slow service, onion rings tasted like old fryer oil, we asked for our meals to be packed up early and to pack up the desserts right away-meals were packed up but desserts were forgotten. Had to go back in for the desserts which took a very long time to be ready. Had to meet the waitress at the kitchen doors to ask again for desserts. Finally received them and they ended up not being what we ordered but we were out of time and couldn't resolve that issue. Horrible experience and will never return.

Nice place but it was way too busy for size of restaurant and staff.
It was really really loud and hectic, you could tell the serving staff were out of control.
The Caesars (drink) are awful.
Too bad. It’s such a waste of time and money to go to a place when it becomes too popular. Luckily there are so many other places to go in that neighbourhood

WE were attending JOe JAckson at the Danforth Music hall, so I was so excited - so that is where my mind was , we drove from North bay to see JOe Jackson and the food was good , I just wish there was more of a selection for the fish , like a haddock fish sandwich , shrimp or scallops on rice .etc, maybe a nice clam chowder or a thai noodle soup...I thought menu sort of boring ......2 desserts , ,my sis and friend loved the Tiramisu , but my husband and I shared Ice cream sandwich , not that great , loved the 1 an onze for wine.....OUr waiter Justin was great!!!!!The prices were reasonable way better than Allans next door

the bar list is great and well thought out ,
the menu offered a great selection and there were healthy options available which was great
food was really tasted and prepared well and was served in a timely manner
will be going back to sidebar for the next show at the Danforth in June

We booked a large party & the place was very busy due to a concert @ The Music Hall. I'd go back again but maybe when there wasn't a show & also not with such a large party of 8.

Excellent food a great staff that enjoy their jobs and make the customer comfortable. It is a bit noisy but that is because everyone is having a great time. Totally try the pizza its great. The ice-cream sandwich aside from being delicious would be more than enough and a great value at half the size so bring a friend. Cheers!

Out for dinner before a show next door at the music hall. Arrived on time; door not open yet. Server was polite and knowledgeable. Very good Dark in house pita; falafel and humus. Had to request more humus to finish the bread. Ordered the southern fried chicken and sea bass as mains. Brussel sprouts as a side. Fish served whole and by itself, nothing else on plate. Could have used some colour or small greens to accent the meal. Chicken dish was fine served with a nice coleslaw and hot sauce. Brussel sprouts and bacon were over cooked and served colder than we would have liked. Ice cream sandwich was very good and large enough to share. Wines by bottle or glass limited in selection but fairly priced. I think they can do better. Worth a second chance but will explore other options on the Danforth next trip.

Hard-working, kind and communicative servers that truly made the night. It was very busy and we didn’t for a second feel that we weren’t a priority. We weren’t absolutely blown away by the food but it was by no means bad! Falafel platter was the star! We absolutely love that wine is available on tap for a $1 ounce - such great value all around. Have an will continue to recommend and return!

Our reservation got alittle messed up but staff were right on it and accommodating. Very friendly and attentive. Food was tasty but I'm a small person and even for me my meal should have been an appetizer not a main course. Could have at least been more generous with the frites to try to make up for the bite sized burger. Nice atmosphere albeit a little bit noisy. I'd go back but not if I was hungry.

We ordered the house salad, beet salad with chicken, fries, brussel sprouts, and cauliflower. Everything was good except the brussels sprouts there were so over cooked they had no flavour. I was very surprised they left the kitchen.

Everything else was great and we especially liked being able to order $1/oz wine.

We had a yummy meal. Our server was very knowledgable about the drinks, wine and food. Banquettes are a bit high and a touch shallow so hard for a shorter gal to heave up onto.

I had the steak frites - it was an unusually large and beautifully done steak with good shoe-string fries. Steak was cooked perfectly but, unfortunately, seemed to have been sitting for a few minutes because it was not sizzling hot - rather luke-warm - when it got to my table - too bad, because it would have been perfect otherwise. I would definitely go again to work my way through the menu.

Quite noisy - music and conversations quite loud - energetic is a good word, but it would have been very difficult to have a quiet conversation.

Pre-show dinner @ Danforth Music Hall so location was very close. Menu was limited but food was good. Busy spot so service was challenged to meet demand but might have been the show/# of attendees as place was busy. Beer options were good but also limited.
