   Sicily was the perfect spot for a post-matinee dinner with friends. Situated on Restaurant row with both indoor and outdoor seating Sicily was charming with French doors open to the street. There was a lively crowd and meals came timely. Meals were perfectly portioned leaving you satisfied but not overly full. Everything tasted fresh and light exactly what we were looking for.

   The food and service was amazing. I had the fettuccine with mushrooms and it had wonderful flavor and plenty of mushrooms. My friend had the lobster ravioli and she said it was also wonderful. I’ve been here many times when visit NYC and I highly recommend.

   Really nice looking restaurant and very busy. Issues: no soda available besides ginger ale. And wasn't told this until we were seated and I requested a Diet Coke. Ordered 2 apps and 1 pizza for 3 of us -- and waited about 50 minutes for them to bring it. As my daughter said - one of the apps was literally slice cheese! Could have definitely been served better. Waiter took order and disappeared. Saw a person who was marching around restaurant I thought was a manager but could not manage to get him to acknowledge us. Decent food for decent value = but not a happy dining out experience.

   We had a 7:00 show so we made a 5:15 reservation thinking it would be more than enough time. Beginning of the meal went fine as we ordered 2 apps and they arrived quickly after drinks. We finished and they cleared the plates. Other tables were quickly filling around us. We waited for our pasta entrees for more than an hour. Meanwhile tables seated after us were served apps entree and dessert before our entrees arrived. We spoke to the waitress who said she would check on it. We finally told the matre d to cancel as we had a show to catch it was then our food arrived. 3 of our entrees were cool one was steaming hot. Kind of obvious what had happened. Manager actually scolded my wife saying pasta takes an hour to cook. Gotta love New York attitudes. Nice ambiance food was just okay and cold. Poor quality control and customer service. Overall terrible experience

   Great place for pre- theater dinner. Nice ambiance, tasty food.
