Went there with a girlfriend for a catch up girlie chat the food is amazing service is great. Restaurant very small and not much room to move. Bill was £39 each for us 2 to have loads of tapas a share a bottle of wine. Would go back!
Half the plates were quite nice, the other half had been over salted
Absolutly lovely restaurant. Food was delicious and service great. Would recommend.
Manager seems a little pushy of trying to get us to order higher priced food items. Food is so so for a Covent Garden restaurant. Service certainly way below our expectations based on the reviews that we saw on Open Table before reservation.
I had booked a table for dinner for two for a birthday meal. When I arrived, I was told by a member of staff, Kamile, that only bar seats at a barrel were available unless we would take an hour or less! I was surprised and concerned as both the seating at bar seats and the limited time of an hour were not mentioned when I made the booking. I mentioned this to Kamile who was rude and argumentative and said it was not the restaurant's fault and that it was the fault of OpenTable! I told her that it was the responsibility of the restaurant to make these things clear, not OpenTable. She was dismissive and rude.
We ended up having a rushed dinner in an hour! Very disappointing. The only saving grace was the other member of staff, Jorge Riera, who apologised on behalf of Kamile and the restaurant.
Incredible food, really well thought out dishes. Staff really friendly and helpful. Definitely a cosy atmosphere with quite loud music which adds to the ambience. Would definitely eat there again!
Sibarita is a delightful, authentic Spanish restaurant in Covent Garden. Lovely music and ambience. The tapas dishes were ok - the lamb chops were the best, nice and pink and very tasty. Squid was rather chewy. Several dishes were coated in paprika or some other spicy seasoning, rather too much for our liking. All in all it was a fun place to go to.
Nice food and service. Tiny restaurant but charming. Make sure to book in advance!
A little bit pricey but hey it is Soho!
Had a lovely meal here - great food and friendly staff. Will go again
Really enjoyed the tapas, coupled with great staff they were very flexible and accommodating for our awkward tipsy group. Great little layout. Perfect evening :)
This was a dreadful waste of money. No olives, no ham, over cooked greasy padron. And they call themselves a tapas restaurant. No one should have to endure this: Barrafina is round the corner along with Brindisa.
Wanted a special birthday meal and Sibarita didn’t dissapoint- food was fantastic!
Third time at Sibarita, with friends or family, always a good time !
A small gem. Limited menu choice, but enough and what we had was tasty.
A lovely place, great food, nice wine and great service. Washrooms could do with some attention though by way of decoration.
Charming service but disappointing food - soggy almonds, unappetising lamb chops, tired cheese. We came before and had a lovely meal - hence our return. We won't return again.
Perfect for pre-theatre tapas!
Service malfunctioned a bit but the staff were lovely throughout. Food was excellent. Emptied out a bit towards 10-10:30 on a Wednesday evening, but food was good enough - and service nice enough - to maintain a really nice, laid-back atmosphere. Would recommend.
A very good, cosy tapas restaurant near all the theatres of Covent Garden. We were there for an early meal so not squished but can imagine when busy it will be.
The spinach croquetas and lightly fried artichokes were absolute winners, but as you expect from small plates some hit the mark more than others (not sure about the ceviche this time).
The wine list is relatively limited and, with a couple exceptions, tends towards the pricier end of the market but overall there'll still be something for everyone.
Such delicious food, the yummiest croquettas, cosy, friendly staff, really love this place
Lovely small place in Covent Garden, food and wine were very good.
Tables are very close together, not necessarily best if you want a very private discussion.
lots of character, and will definitely be back.
The food was lovely! We particularly enjoyed the croquettas of the day, which were spinach and the cheese and bread! Overall a lovely experience and the staff was friendly, professional and gave good suggestions of food and wine.
Food was lovely although the main special wasn’t available and as it is a small menu this was a shame. Service was good and prices fair.
All great but I was seriously put off by the ladies toilet. Toilet not secure, rocks and unstable.
Lovely little place
We had a truly amazing night here. It was my goodbye after 7 years in London, and I honestly couldn't have wishes for a better evening. It is an incredibly cozy place, with very amicable staff and the food blew us away (and we tried half the menu!). Really warmly recommended, especially the baked cheese and lemon dessert. Mainly just leave the world on the doorstep and sink into the bliss of this place for a while, it's going to look after you well!
We had a post theatre cheese platter with olives and a glass of Rioja. Very enjoyable. Great, easy up to date music and friendly customers and staff.
Great food, friendly service and we'll priced would 100% return here!
Really disappointed. Service was non existant, our table was knocked by the front door each time guests came in or left, we had to keep asking for bread which was delivered in mini portions (1 mini slice per person) to eat with cheese & ham, there was no wine knowledge or service (boiling hot out of glass washer wine glasses served to the table) yet they have a wine list with wines charged in the hundreds..... they advertise a cocktail list but this consists of one 'special'written on a mirror.
If you are not ready to open, I suggest you wait until you have everything under control.
Great food, service and overall experience. It’s only small but enjoy the uniqueness. Definitely going back
We really tried to like it as such good reviews, plus a wine bar by a reputable proprietor.
Well, tried to walk in and they said no table available. Booked via OpenTable on my mobile for 5 minutes later with lots of availability online.
Food not bad. Wine so so and as a wine bar there weren't many choices by the glass. Over-priced wine list for what they were even for the area. Would rather go for Champagne and fromage around the corner (which would cost the same as the Cava at Sibarita).
Overall- very disappointed by service and drinks.
A great find - delicious and interesting food, great ambiance, good service . We went for pre-theatre dinner and would recommend.
We first hit this place a few months ago pre-theatre and loved it so much we came back with a bigger group for our next theatre outing. We all really enjoyed the food and the service, even my fussy vegetarian brother (although should note that the menu is quite limited on the veggie front). Particularly good are the croquetas and the chicken, but everything was very nice indeed.
Excellent food and service, with very fresh tasting calamari and delicious caper berries. However the space is very small and cramped and the noise level is high.
Cosy and good wine, food came v quickly and was delicious, perfect for a quick bite before theatre on the Strand.
This restuarant has been shut for months. Please stop taking bookings for it!
Excellent food wine atmosphere and service. Will definitely be back.
I was really looking forward to something different but the menu was extremely limited for vegetarians. The artichokes were great though. No decent salad accompaniments and not even standard tapas fare such as tortilla. It was also cold in the restaurant. A generally uninspiring place all round.
Very good, friendly staff, fantastic wine and delicious food - a lovely evening
Very good octopus and the melted cheese with oh so cute veggies... fabulous! Loved the artichokes too. Wine list limited and way too expensive but the £24 bottle of red was actually really good so ignore the rest.
We booked a table in this small and compact restaurant but, on arrival, were offered only two stools at a wine barrel. Whilst that looks quite trendy we wanted to eat and you can't do that easily perched at a barrel. In addition, it was a freezing cold evening and the barrel was right next to the door meaning we were hot by icy blasts each time the door opened. So we declined to stay long.
But, on the plus side, we had a nice glass of wine and some good Padron peppers. Because we had booked a table, the Management did not charge us for the wine, which we appreciated. I must say that the place had a very nice feel about it. Quietly busy, interesting looking tapas dishes, reasonable prices. Certainly we will return for a better look at the place.
