The food at Si Baby is genuinely delicious — fresh ingredients, great flavors, and a well-thought-out menu. It’s clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing, and it’s a place I’d happily recommend based on the quality of the meals alone. However, the experience was let down by how the evening ended. If you’re there around 8:50pm, be prepared for the music to be turned off and the lights to be turned up full blast. It’s a very obvious signal that they want you out before 9pm, which really kills the atmosphere and feels inconsiderate — especially when you’re a paying customer trying to enjoy the last part of your meal. I understand that staff want to finish their shifts on time, but a little more courtesy and respect for diners would go a long way. A good restaurant experience is about more than just the food — how customers are treated matters too.

We had an early booking on a full Sunday night. Despite a very large table having a b’day dinner, our food came out quick and it was delicious. Every crumb was eaten, our plates were very clean. A great place to eat on the Peninsula.

Wry nice location, with easy to access seating and great customer service. We ordered a gluten-free Uncle Matt’s pizza, which was by far one of the best GF pizzas we’ve had. Also had calamari and chips, with a tiramisu for afterwards which we all great. Staff we also very friendly. Would go again.

We really enjoyed our evening at Si Baby. It was for my daughter's 11th birthday and they were very accommodating with the cake. The pizza was delicious too! Lovely restaurant although a bit on the pricey side.

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The restaurant is right on the waterfront at Newport (Scarborough) and its so lovely sitting eating lunch overlooking the water. The food was delicious and quite a good selection. Just wished they had risotto but my tuscan chicken was lovely. And the dishes were a good size, very generous serves, especially the tiramisu which could have fed 2 of us.
