Shula’s 2 Steak & Sports - Miami Lakes
Chicken and waffles wasn't good. We expected real fried chicken not chicken fingers that looked day old
Great food, ordered the 8 oz filet and was not disappointed. Good service, but the best part of this restaurant was aesthetic, could not recommend a better restaurant for a Dolphins fan.
Always a good place to eat. Brunch is delicious as always. Burgers were okay, not cooked quite as asked but still yummy.
Siamo dovuti scappare perchè in cucina avevano bruciato delle pietanze, la sala era invasa dal fumo ed è scattato l’allarme anti incendio (che non hanno saputo spegnere) e ci hanno cacciato.
We experienced a wonderful early Sunday afternoon lunch. Loved the Shrimp Cocktail starter, Pittsburg style Filet Mignons, loaded potato, french fries and seasonal veggies, finished with the Key Lime pie. Drinks were: Flo-Rita, Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned and KC Manhattan.
Service was tentative without being bothersome. Great recommendations from our server. Club style atmosphere, many TVs so something for everyone, comfortable temp and noise level. We will be back with friends and family. Cheers!
Not my favorite, dark and food was overpriced for the product. I will not return.
Husbands fish sandwich was good, my salad was tasty. Did not have a steak so need to come back and try this place again. Service good. No complaints.
Great food! Was a tad slow service wise but overall no issues!
Will definitely go back
Overall good experience
Excellent dinner. 1st time back after renovations were done. Great service, food, and options. Highly recommend this spot!
Fries and sweet potato fries were stall, like they had been sitting under the warmer a while. Rice was old, like the scrapping from the bottom of the pot. Burger had no flavor.
We were very excited to try Shula’s 2 on our first trip to Miami. We ordered the filet mignonette and the ribeye. While the steaks themselves were good, we have had better at a Longhorn as they were quite dry (we ordered it cooked medium). Our baked potatoes were also fine but our salads left a lot to be desired. Our server, who was not busy, took over 8 minutes to greet us and get our drink order, which we understood that maybe she hadn’t noticed us because we were sat in the bar area. She finally came back with our waters and took our order. We decided to order cocktails when our salad arrived, but our salad never came. She swung by our table to check on us and we ordered our drinks, a Long Island Tea and a BlackBerry Margarita. It took another 15 minutes to receive our drinks after ordering and we watched our drinks sitting on the bar for most of that time. By the time they arrived at our table both were super watered down by the melted ice. Our salads finally arrived with the meal and one salad didn’t have the correct dressing, so we asked her to bring it out when she had a minute. She disappeared for 5 minutes and came back by the table and asked us to cut into our steaks. She asked why we hadn’t started eating and we said because we were waiting on our dressing. It was mother 5 minutes before she came out with the dressing. All in all our tab was $94 for a mediocre meal and watered down drinks topped off with awful service. I would not recommend this restaurant as I feel it is grossly overrated and immensely overpriced. I have no problem paying a premium for a good steak, but these were just okay. Being former servers, the girl still got a tip of 10%, but we normally tip much more for excellent service. Overall a very poor experience.
We both had steak and thought they did an excellent job. We enjoyed the sports bar setting. Service was a little slowish but not too bad. Overall very enjoyable.
Our meals were delicious and our server was very good,Roman. Love the the service.
Had to eat in the sports bar which was loud, it was hard to visit. Would have preferred
The dinning area that was not opened. Especially since it was Christmas Eve. We love
Shula2 restaurant for good food and service.
We were greeted with a slight attitude because we were early for our reservation. This is a first because I have been coming here for years. My shrimp cocktail had an unattractive presentation with the shrimp being very mushy. My steak was over cooked and smaller than in the past. The portion of vegetables was minute and
I resent having to pay for bread. We had a good waiter.
I was very disappointed! I used to go to Shula’s often years ago and food was excellent. Was very disappointed on this visit. Food and service were lacking.
Great sports bar/restaurant. Good menu selections and drinks. Air con could have been turned down a bit, but overall had a very enjoyable meal.
Excellent meal AGAIN!! We had the 8 oz filet mignons which were very flavorful and tender. Did not even need a steak knife to cut. The loaded baked potato and the mushrooms and onions sides were tasty and great compliments. The potato was cooked correctly and had a crispy skin. A glass of Zinfindel and the Martini Cabernet went along very well with the meal. We finished with Apple Cobbler (great recommendation from our waitress) and Creme Brulee. Made for a perfect end to a great meal.
Husband, daughter not impressed. Two filet mignons were undercooked. Salads took forever and came out Just before dinners which were not hot. Place half empty, yet seated near sidewalk door so ambiance sucked. Celebratory dinner for our daughter shipping out next morning for Coast Guard and wanted her to have a delicious meal before she left!
Brunch with my men for their birthdays and our families
This is one of my favorite restaurants. We have been here many times and it never disappoints. The hostess is very friendly and professional. Service was excellent (Thanks again Adel and John!!). The French Onion Soup was large and full of cheese and onions, more filling than most French Onion Soups. Of course, it was so good we couldn't leave any of it! Our Filet Mignons were cooked perfectly, fork tender, and very flavorful. The crab cakes were almost all crab, very little filler; and very tasty. We enjoyed ours with a little fresh lemon. The smashed potatoes made a very nice side. Both the desserts, Creme Brulee and Chocolate Lave Cake were presented nicely and made for an excellent end to great dinner. The excellent service and food ensures that we will be coming back soon.
My dinner choice from Miami Spice menu was delicious. I had blackened trout with shrimp and asparagus, fish cooked perfectly.
French onion soup amazing, packed desser to go!
Great ambiance and amazing service, all staff was very friendly and accommodating
Waiter was very attentive and made sure my steak was made just right :-)
Same quality as steakhouse.... new favorite place to go
Service was excellent. Luis is an excellent waiter. I truly appreciate the hostess and manager moving our table away from the doors due to the smoking stench every time the doors were opened. Food was excellent and portions large. Mojitos were a little bit sweet, although very tasty. Filet mignon and Wine Country Burgers not to be missed. Cesar salad and coleslaw was
fresh, crisp, and excellent. Brownie sundae is large enough to share. Shula' 2 is a favorite area restaurant and we're looking forward to visiting again soon.
Based on reviews I expected the restaurant to be good but not necessarily great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service. I would definitely go back again. Everyone in our group ordered entirely different things and everybody was very very happy with their meal choices.
Perfect spot for lunch/breakfast before going to Miami Lakes Theater that's just down the street. Looks like a good spot for watching sports too.
We expend a beautiful time celebrating the 40th Birthday of my son, you feel in this place like in your home, and by consequence that time worth a million dollars, the food out of this world, and the service A plus, thank you again to the staff.
Went for Miami Spice. The venue was not what we expected for a Spice restaurant. It was simply listed as Shula's2 - found out was sports bar later. Waiter (Noel) was very pleasant but somewhat clueless. Took a drink order without writing anything down and came back five minutes for clarification on a Dry Bombay Martini.
Wife's Pina Colada was good. We both ordered the steak and "jumbo" lump cake . Crab cake was smaller than what we buy at Costco and somewhat burned.Steak was nice but loaded with salt! (Chef should learn that customer can always add salt, but not take it off). Finally we asked for left overs to be boxed to go. He put everything in one box which I have never seen for two customers before.
The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The service was great.
I used to come here a lot up until I moved out of the area a few years ago. After moving back I decided to give it a shot again for my daughters birthday.
When I made a reservation I asked for a table, not a booth which is rarely an issue. However I was forced to wait at the door by the hostess to see if the server would be ok with me at a table. I made a reservation a day in advance, this should have been worked out in advance.
Our server was Roman, he was excellent. He was attentive and was very polite to my daughter and I. His service was the bright spot of our dining experience.
The food was not as good as would have expected. Both of our steaks were overdone by one measure. I might expect this at a busy restaurant on a Friday night but they weren't even at half capacity. My steak was flavorful but my daughter's wasn't the best. My Baked potato was slightly underdone and nothing to write home about, my daughter's fries were saltier than a Hillary Clinton supporter at a Donald Trump rally. Seriously she was brushing salt off of them and they were still too salty.
Honestly not the restaurant it used to be. Very disappointing.
Noisy place for a business meal. We all ordered salads and the food didn’t arrive for 40 minutes, while everybody around us who came in after us were served before us. When the salads arrived they were overpriced for what we got (we could have gotten the same quality of food at Olive Garden at a much lower cost).
Maybe this place is better for after-work functions with beer and sports and not so good for a working lunch on a relatively strict time restriction.
Brunch was delicious as with any food we eat there
Loved the brunch options that were offered! Always appreciate mimosas being on the menu.
15 people and our server Roman did a great job keeping up with the table and drink request.
Food was good service was very slow
I have to say that every time I've gone with my family they never cease to amaze us on the quality of food and the great service provided to us while there.
Our only vise is other patrons dining are a bit noisy at times and its hard to have a quiet dining experience.
Always a great experience at Shulas 2!! This has become our Friday night spot as the kids menu has variety and portions are excellent. Booths with personal TVs are a great addition. Will be back soon!!
