It’s obvious we’re all about oysters (they’re chilling on ice as soon as you walk in), but one look at our menu and you’ll see that Shuck is so much more.

Our raw bar features the freshest fish and shellfish with inventive flavors designed to complement, never cover up. Our snacks, sides, and starters are perfect for sharing, and our mains elevate favourite classics from down home to down right delicious.

Warm wood paneling and eclectic glasswork create an atmosphere that captures the spirit of Maritime living. There’s no red carpet here, but we have laid out the best in paper over our tablecloths so you can get to slurping, sharing, and savoring. The restaurant staff are all lovely. Jim is a wonderful server. The thing you notice about the restaurant is all the staff are always working to make sure everything is perfect. It is a lovely atmosphere with hard working staff. We really enjoy going to Shuck.

We were in Halifax for the week and went two days in a row to Shucks! Yes, it’s that awesome!! Check out their happy hour. Great staff, and food!

Last minute dinner plans. Really looking forward to some authentic seafood while in Halifax, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a great location and very cute decor. We really enjoyed the Oysters (and regretted not coming for happy hour, as they're quite pricey regular price), and the Seafood Boil was excellent! Shrimp Scallop pasta was very good as well. The Shuck Caesars were also tasty. The only thing that could have been better is the service, which was a bit prickly and dismissive. Prob an off day for someone, definitely not typical of what we've encountered in Halifax.

This was my second time at Shucks in the last year, and once again, we were not disappointed! Great service, drinks and food. If you’re in town and looking for a fun way to spend the afternoon, their happy hour is great. 1.50 oysters, 2$ off wine and craft beer. You’ll love it!

We sat outdoors which was lovely. Great oysters, excellent steak, raw dishes were really good. Service was the best.

We love to go for their oysters happy hour! So much We've been twice in the last month, it is absolutely amazing! the oysters are fresh, I've never seen such a big variety, and the people are just amazing, we met Greco who works there, and it was so nice because he came to us because we were speaking in Spanish, identified himself , and made us feel right at home! We are definitely going back!
