The Shor is no longer in operation, now rebranded as The Buffet, featuring Korean Kalbi style BBQ. We arrived on time after confirming our reservation on line only to find out that the Buffet did not have a reservation and that we could wait for a seat to eat at the bar, since there were no tables available for two hours. We dine elsewhere as there a plenty of places on Waikiki.

This restaurant no longer exist. Please remove it. We were not at all happy to land after a 12 hr flight to discover this doesn’t even exist. The restaurant that is now there didn’t try to accommodate us.

We had a reservation for Father's Day dinner at Shor. Found out right before we left to go to the restaurant when checking on the menu on-line that they got rid of dinners at Shor starting the week before Father's Day without notifying us. Called up the restaurant and this man said that they had transferred all the reservations to a different restaurant at the hotel but somehow could not find our reservation. He was not willing to honor our reservation saying that other people had reservations and they cannot accommodate us despite losing our reservation. Whoever we talked to was rude and made it sound like everything was our fault. We had to scramble for last minute reservation at some other restaurant last minute. We were looking forward to trying this restaurant but will definitely not go here or other restaurants at this hotel anymore.

I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.

My friend and I came here for the last night of a girls trip and had an amazing dinner experience! We ordered two drinks, the burrata, lobster fried rice, and pancetta and kim chi buccatini. Our waiter (Ryan) was extremely kind and attentive and made it a great experience. It started to get chilly and he brought us warmed towels and also gave us roses at the end of dinner since it was Mothers Day. The food was so delicious you will not want to stop eating even when you are full. The portion sizes are also very generous so although this restaurant is a bit pricier the value is great. Highly highly recommend the lobster fried rice and pancetta & kim chi buccatini. Lastly, there was a live musician during dinner who was great which added to the ambiance.

The view is nice. They did the bait and switch on their menu. Their chef was on khon2 to showcase their Mother’s Day brunch menu offering. The chef showed an item crispy furikake rice that will be available on Mother’s Day. This looked delicious and made reservations right away and was really looking forward to sampling this. CRISPY FURIKAKE RICE WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND IN THEIR TABLE OR ON A MENU FOR THIS DAY! We were so disappointed but we continued with the brunch. The food was so so, choices were very limited for the price. Only one soup, few desserts, their main dish line were sausage, bacon, pasta, eggs - kind of mediocre in comparison with Sails restaurant. Their seafood didn’t taste fresh and the sashimi looked and tasted like it was frozen. I’m totality we were disappointed and will not be coming back. The servers were attentive to their credit. Advice: do not do false advertisement!

Beautiful roof top restaurant overlooking the beach with live music. Not overly packed and accommodated us last minute. The service was great and we really enjoyed the mushroom truffle flatbread- it was delicious and I’m still thinking about it a day later.

Great view, excellent food and service made our dinner an experience to savor. Our waiter Ryan made good suggestions for pre dinner drinks and for our entrees. We would definitely return next tweet are in Honolulu. Try the hamachi if you love fresh fish.

Shor was good for casual bite, with the downside being the price point is very expensive for what you get. Everything we got was good - no complaints there. The only downfall is the price for what you are getting. Very overpriced.

Everything about this experience was a lovely surprise. Despite being told only indoor tables were available, we were led to a perfect edge table outdoors with panoramic sea view. The catch of the day fish was mahi mahi, truly that day fresh and perfectly prepared with delicious sauce and fresh veg, so highly recommended! We had it on a fixed price 3 course meal, beginning with excellent shoyu poke, also that day fresh ahi with very crispy taro chips, and ended the meal with excellent tiramisu, all at a remarkably low price. Could not have been better in any higher ranked and more expensive restaurant. Barbie the hostess really went out of her way to give us an all around memorable experience fro start to finish.

Shor is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant on every level; the food is delicious; the atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy and the sfaff are helpful and thoughtful. If you dine early you get a price break. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a wide assortment of options. We found Shor a good value for the cost, especially in Hawaii. I highly recommend this delightful lovely restaurant!
