Great food, especially the whole fish and seafood curry which was actually spicy. The server was extremely friendly and entertaining. It took a while to get out table and the food, but as we were vacationing we cared more about quality than efficiency. Will definitely be back. Live music added to the ambiance.

Overall our experience was okay. We had some complications getting seating outside that we had requested. The person seating us had to ask someone behind the scenes two different times before we could sit on the balcony. Once out there a table 10 feet from us smoked a cigarette every 10 mins, which I’m not sure of the policies but definitely made my experience eating very unpleasant. Our server was very friendly and we could tell she was very busy that night being New Year’s Eve but always took care of everything we needed. Our grilled avocado came out wonderful and the seafood curry was delicious with the fresh catch of the day, big shrimp, mussels and clams. Definitely a sweeter sauce and not too spicy. My fiancé ordered the surf and turf medium which came out well done, which they gladly took back but then came back out rare. Our waitress was extremely apologetic and took care of this from our tab right away. The director of operations also came to our table to apologize which was appreciated. I would give this place a second chance but there are also other great restaurants in the area.
I would not recommend this place.. we felt like we were not tested right and was put to a side table. Had to keeping our waiter for water and utensils. Not worth the money. Food was cold..
Very busy New Years Eve. Had the 5 course meal which was good! Waiter was very nice!!!
We were there for the New Year tasting menu. The food was not great and the service felt a bit rushed. Location and ambiance were nice, but food was just not worth the price.
The food was amazing, and the service is always amazing as well. We have been to the Hyatt Clearwater and this restaurant many times and it never disappoints
My sons 3rd birthday
I had the surf and turf and my husband did the filet. The steaks were amazing and could be cut with a butter knife, the fingerling potatoes were plain and didn't taste like much, mashed potatoes that my hubby got were delectable. Overall for the price of the surf and turf I would say its not worth it and just do the filet.
Our daughter did spaghetti and the noodles were not cooked all the way through nor did it taste like there was any love put into it, just thrown together. At the price level of the restaurant as a whole i would expect even the kids meals to be worth it, even at $8.
Disappointed with the new menu and the service. Not the same SHOR as 3 years ago. Will not be returning here for a while.
Well it was Christmas Day brunch time. A little chaotic in the restaurant. Food was good - recommend the crab Benedict. Service was great considering how busy it was.
During this difficult time, you managed a Great buffet. All my needs were addressed & taken care of promptly down to the toast & bagel. Enjoyed the unlimited mimosas as well. We live here & will return. Thank you so very much!

It was a family thanksgiving dinner. The food was really bad and they seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. I ate in the restaurant all week and never had a bad meal till then. Staff was great
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant to date. My family and I had reservations for 8:45 PM. We arrived at 8:45 PM on the dot. When we get to the check in desk we noticed there was an extremely long line and asked if people with reservations had to stand in line and were told yes. That was strike one, but we got in line and waited it out. 10 mins later we get to the desk and we’re told it will be another 15-20 mins before we’re able to be seated. Once we were seated it took roughly around 10 mins for someone just to come to the table and bring us water. 25 mins later, and no server STILL! No drink orders taken, appetizers, etc. no one even acknowledged us. We asked a few ppl including the young lady that dropped water off to us to get us a server, and no avail. I don’t think they were properly prepared for the traffic. But what was more strange was that every table was not filled. We were REALLY looking forward to this meal and experience. We had to end our night eating pizza slices because by the time we decided to just leave and go somewhere else, everything was closed or closing soon. I would not recommend trying this place.
The food was good, the service was TERRIBLE! They were grossly unprepared for the Thanksgiving event that they advertised for weeks. We weren’t seated until 45 mins after our reservation, I had to get our own drinks from the bar and they ran out of food from the pre-set menu they advertised for the night.
Absolutely horrible experience. I understand that things happen with service and unexpected accidents but our reservation was at 7:30 for two people and we didn’t sit until 9:15. We didn’t get our first course until 9:52. We barely picked at any of the food because it was so bad and so cold. No one filled our waters, we were served food without plates or utensils. Paid $170 EACH for teir 3 and they skipped over our champagne and seafood course. It made for a really disappointing thanksgiving, I would have rather had subway. After being told they were 50 min behind schedule I asked about canceling my reservation and they told me I would be charged. It was an absolute waste of time and money, I’m more disappointed and upset that we had a horrible evening then mad
Visited for Thanksgiving dinner. What an absolute terrible experience. Waited over an hour for a table...after having reservations 2 weeks in advance! Once seated, the food served was completely cold and bland. Wish I could get my money back for this.

Thanksgiving dinner service was awful despite the meal being delicious. Clearly the 18 percent gratuity charged to everyone’s bill, didn’t incentivize to provide good service. The bus boys and food runners did a much better job than the waitress we had, who out of pity/need took on our table after we complained about not having seen a server for the first 15 minutes when we were seated. Even after that, we waited a long time between courses, as did many other tables. Managers seemed to start acting as servers once they realized that the servers weren’t doing much (they just gave out drinks and dessert, and that’s it). Overall, the larger issue seemed to be poor management. Had the servers been trained for a multi-course service, been given sections (as to not run around so much between tables at the front, back and outside) and the customers not have been charged an automatic 18 percent gratuity, think things would have gone smoother.

My sister and I came at 1:30 and had brunch on Thanksgiving Day. She ordered eggs Benedict and said the Hollandaise sauce was fresh and excellent. I had the buffet, including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The sausage was hard but the bacon and the other foods were excellent. I was asked if I'd like fresh eggs but I declined.
It has a quiet atmosphere and an excellent view. Wine is a little pricey at $9 a glass and the glass was only half full. But overall, this is a relaxing and enjoyable place to eat.
Thankfully, we got vouchers for the parking garage, which is expensive at $6 per hour. Also, the garage clock seemed to take liberties with the actual time. I would've paid $18 for two hours if I didn't have a voucher.
The manager on site at the time, accommodated us for breakfast although there was an issue with the reservation where the restaurant closed at 11am, but OpenTable allowed reservations to be made until then. Also our server was great! She came around several times to check that we were doing ok and even at the end asked if we had everything we needed in our room. Lovely service overall.

Had the ribeye... cooked perfectly. Great view right on the street and the beach.
Sat on the deck at sunset and had a delicious meal. Our server John remembered us from two years before and was so enjoyable!
I am an utter shock that this is supposed to be a hotel restaurant and the food was overly priced for garbage very hard for me to understand how one will pay $1,000 for a room and then come downstairs and pay $50 for breakfast when it tastes like I went to McDonald's so thank you for that I truly appreciate it and in reality McDonald's were pasted better because at least they would have got my order correctly and it probably would have been delivered to the correct room still warm
I recently enjoyed an awesome birthday dinner with my husband, and sunset view that was incredibly beautiful. Can't wait to go back for a return visit.
Hostess was not very welcoming. We should’ve know better when we booked. Its targeted for tourists so staff doesn’t care if people come back. I had to tell our waiter to take away dirty plates off our table. Mojito my friend ordered had almost no liquor in it, had to send it back. We booked it for outdoor sitting, but sun was beaming and there were no umbrellas. Also, very sad choice of deserts.

A few friends gathered together at the Shor restaurant. It was a gorgeous evening. The staff was outstanding. Very accommodating to our needs. Great service. The waitress told us about their award winning lobster Mac and cheese and all of us decided to try it. It was fantastic. The perfect amount of cheese, a hint of sun dried tomatoes , garlic and crunchy breadcrumbs. You must get this dish! Go out and give them a try. If you spend $30 you get 3 hours of complimentary parking.

Great views of the sunset. Our waiter, Remington, was on his game and super attentive. Food was great. We went on a Friday night and they had some live entertainment i outside seating area that wasn’t too loud and very soothing. If you’re in the i would recommend.
We celebrated our 22nd anniversary here and the beach view was outstanding; too bad they couldn’t honor our outdoor reservations due to the rain. We took outdoor pics anyway since the patio was covered. Our waitress Nellie was superb and knew the menu well and how to maneuver around my vegetarian requirements. The mushroom risotto was excellent, hubby had lobster Mac & cheese with a 5oz lobster tail on top (included). He enjoyed. Service was outstanding by server and those helping. Each course delivered promptly. Good portions, good wine and beautiful ambiance with live musician. We’ll return when it’s not raining.
We love this breakfast spot. It overlooks Clearwater beach and has a great outdoor patio which is in the shade in the mornings. The food is great and the service amazing. It’s a little bit more expensive than a regular breakfast place but it’s soooo much better and worth it.

We got the NY strip and the lobster mac and cheese, both plates were very generous in size and very good in taste.
The restaurant is located within the hotel, so the location or atmosphere are business casual, however my fiancée and I had a very good experience at our date dinner.
