Have been here many times because I love the food here. I wish it was not so loud. It is hard to hear friends across the table. Also it would be nice if the seating was not uncomfortable metal stools.

The Shojonator burger’s bao bun has changed recently, and not for the better. They make them in house so there will be variation, but it seems the recipe has changed over the past year. The bun is more like typical bread at this point and has lost most of its moisture and flavor. Otherwise, the restaurant is good as always.

I really appreciate the staff for their patience and understanding as our large party was trickling in on a Tuesday. Several people at several parts of the table were asking for drinks and food. The two servers that were really hustling on the floor along with the bartender were so accommodating managing our chaos and everyone came in very excited about the food and left full with nothing but amazing things to say about the meal. Great job Shojo - so glad we were able to grab a reservation!

I really enjoyed the food and vibe. The restaurant was full but it did not feel cramped and it was not overly loud. The service was a bit slow it seems like they needed more wait staff. Still the server was good and friendly.
