Overall, I was very impressed by the quality of food, the cleanliness and seating arrangements, and the value. It was a present surprise as we’re local and don’t go down to the I-drive area very much. It’s a great spot if you’re hungry!

We booked the Shogun for a New Year’s Eve diner with family while on vacation in Orlando. I must say the experience was great. Food was good, service was good and chef was awesome!! Only thing is the location is hard to find. You have to go behind the hotel to find the restaurant.

Really tasty- entertaining! We enjoyed the dinner and drinks and we had an easy time talking with each other at the hibachi table. Went back the next night for sushi and it didn’t disappoint!

I was pleasantly surprised by Shogun. My family had a great time. The chief was entertaining and the food was great. I felt the serving sizes were plenty large (some other reviews said otherwise). Wasn’t sure what to expect with the location being behind a hotel, but I wasn’t disappointed! The positive reviews are real.

Shogun is not the same as it was before. The portions are smaller and the quality is not as good. They no longer serve noodles and the quality of the food is not as good as it was. Not sure I will go back but their staff is very good.

We wanted to have a teppanyaki dinner show after a long day, but the whole experience fell short. Although we had to wait 25 minutes after our reservation for a table, it was alright with us if we were entertained but we were not. Our Hibachi chef Tam tried to be funny but he did not get the que from customer facial reactions. One time joke is funny but after that he needed to change things up. Food and service were at most average. Furthermore, they did not honor what they advertised. As a result, we do not recommend this Shogun Restaurant in Orlando.

Food quality was poor, chef's "humor" was questionable. Automatic 18% "service" charge was added to our bill (we were a party of 4). When I asked our server to clarify, she said that fee went to the chef... definitely will not go back!!

I loved had chef Roland and short cut server with silver hair. Her name was hard to pronounce. Amazing service from all employees. I enjoyed my experience I used to come here with my fraternity every year but I moved to Georgia and now I come when I visit Orlando same experience amazing. You people really go above and beyond. I left extra tip

Love this restaurant! Went for my first time in may 2022 and came back July 2022 because of the great experience the first time. The portion sizes are perfect! The chefs are fun and entertaining! Shout out to Tam the hibachi chef! The servers are very sweet and helpful. Our first server in may was so passionate about her job and caring about the experience of the guest. She even got my son to eat all of his zucchini (which he hates)! It’s hard finding people who care about there jobs and that care about the guests, so to find such a great restaurant with great service is a true blessing. This place is a GEM and suggest it to anyone wanting good hibachi and a great experience!

We didn't know that they charged a service charge. And asked for additional tips. Place is very clean but tables are too close together. The food tastes excellent but I ordered the shogun with steak, shrimp and chicken. I got plenty of rice and vegetables, plenty of chicken but only 4 shrimp and 6 pieces of steak cut small. The chief put on a awesome show. Overall a great experience

The entire atmosphere was very nice and fit perfect with the theme of the restaurant, the hostess and servers were very prompt and attentive and the chef was doing his absolute best. My only issue was the portions of the rice due to “Greedy” customers of another party at the same table who wanted extra rice. It felt like I paid more for my meal, for less of the value. Not to mention it was me and my fiancés 5 years anniversary, I was very upset considering the fact it was her first time being at the restaurant and I couldn’t provide the best experience for her.

The cook I had was very energetic, hilarious, and an amazing cook. It was my family and I first time experious this place and it was amazing. I really enjoyed watching my kids laugh at all his jokes. We will definitly be returning.
