   This was our first time at this restaurant and it was very pleasant. The chef could have been a bit more animated but everything was tasty and prepared well.

   We had the Signature Sapporo dish on teppanyaki. This is a combo to save us time from browsing and just enjoy the moment. Our chef was Carl and it was fun, flare, and flair! The vegetables were perfectly grilled and sizzled with sauce. The salmon is sharp and the lobster rich. Excellent and high quality notes. We were getting full half-way thru but can’t stop because the entire meal was so flavourful. The sauces added that extra punch. Of course, all that fun smell of cooking in a flat open grill will hover around long after you’ve driven home. Just leave those windows open and savour the memory of a wonderful night!

   server was not approachable,she’s kinda off serving us.unhappy and kinda rude.for this kind of an expensive restaurant very bad customer service experience.

   I have eaten at Shogun numerous times throughout the years and the food quality is always consistently perfect. The shotgun combo is an amazing dining experience as you get scallops, shrimp chicken and beef. We went with a group of seven people and everybody raved about how good the food was and totally enjoyed our experience.

   Excellent food and service. Our waitress Jasmine was very attentive and organized :) our chef was also very friendly and did a fantastic job

   Great service from Sharon and great chef Song. Went for my birthday and everyone had a great meal and were out of there in less than 1.5 hours.

   Our birthday celebration was great! Sharon and Kendy were awesome. Service was fast, efficient and courteous. Food was superb as always. Thank you for making my son’s birthday fun and memorable, it’s one of his favourite restaurants to go to.

    Our server was disinterested and didn't engage. The servers for the other grills explained Teppanyaki, engaged and were attentive to their guests. That really pointed out how glaringly lacking our server was. The chef was good, engaged a little, but seemed to have a lot less energy than the last chef we had. Also, didn't interact much with us. At the end, when the 'show' is put on, it was very anticlimactic. It was short and half-assed We were one of the last groups there, and got the idea that they couldn't wait for us to leave. We have had much better experiences there. This is definitely not what we have come to expect at Shogun. The hosts were very kind.
