We took my mom for her birthday because we wanted to do something really special. The Shogun with the excellent food and fun show at the Teppanaki table was going to be perfect for the occasion. Overall, it was a good experience with good service and excellent food. Sang did wonderfully with the meal prep and everything tasted so good - tender meat, crispy vegetables and a great atmosphere. Where I was disappointed was when we didn't get the "show" after the meal was cooked. We saw it happening at all the tables around us but we were told that he didn't have enough "room" and that maybe he'd come back and then laughed and said, "no I won't". We came for the food, but also came for the show. It was quite a disappointment when you purposely book the table for entertainment AND food and then miss out. It felt like we weren't worth the effort .

The steak was tough and was left in large chunks making it hard to take a bite as the pieces were way too big to eat. Also did prefer having the chicken and vegetables cooked with the teriyaki sauce on the grill rather than added after on our plate.

Our chef was very good. Wonderful cooking, he interacted with us in a friendly manner and he was very considerate of our 1 year old great grandaughter. He thought she might be scared of the flames so he asked for her to be backed up a bit. She loved it. We had a very good graduation celebration. Thank you.

Two of us had the set menu and did the assorted tempura, main and creme brulee. Lots of tempura and huge creme brulees. Great main course cooked to perfection.

We visited this Japanese open-kitchen restaurant and were absolutely impressed! The atmosphere is amazing — everything is cooked right in front of you, with the chefs performing an incredible fire show as they prepare the dishes. It’s not just dinner, it’s a full-on experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and full of flavor — we especially loved the grilled shrimp, lobsters, beef, and sautéed vegetables. Each dish was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent — the staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and tasty night out. Perfect spot for both family dinners and special occasions!

We had the most excellent experience at Shogun the other night. We went for my husband’s birthday celebration. My daughter and I shared the seafood dinner which was so delicious. Our server Nikin, was helpful and delivered excellent service. Our cook Sang, was funny and engaging, and the food he cooked was divine. It was a very memorable experience. I highly recommend Shogun!
