Service and overall atmosphere was OK. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was truly mediocre. I’ve had better tasting sushi at less expensive places in the area. Honestly my stomach did not appreciate what I ate. Maybe it was an off day for them and it so seemed like it would be better. When we arrived, I liked their Facebook page in exchange for free edamame, which was nice. My husband arrived and while he was in the bathroom, I ordered a beer for him and a tuna tataki appetizer for the table. Then we ordered. My husband had sushi and I had sashimi. There were only 2 pieces for most of the sashimi and some orders only had one piece. I've been to a number of places that give 3 pieces for the same price, so that wasn't ideal. We were eating our meal when I realized that the tataki never came. I asked about it. Apparently the waiter never actually put in the order, so it wasn't coming. I was still hungry since my sashimi was only 6 pieces, so we ordered it anyway. This is my go to dish for judging Japanese food. Each piece of tuna was very thin, with a light brown color (more like semi-cooked beef than seared tuna) and was sitting in a puddle of unappetizing ponzu sauce that looked like watery gravy. It wasn't great. We both ordered a second round of sushi and sashimi. My husband's roll came out, he ate it, and a good five minutes went by before I got my sashimi order, so we didn't even get to eat together. We had multiple waiters that came to our table during the course of our meal. But, I wouldn't say it was good service in the sense that they didn't seem to be communicating with each other. Some of them would ask questions that others had already asked and were working on for us (i.e. drinks, appetizers, etc.) I will say that the fatty tuna was EXCELLENT. But overall, it was a highly disappointing experience for a meal that was over $100.¿Te fue útil?

Very nice place. Quite good local Japanese/Asian eatery. Tempura was excellent. Hot, cripsy and large order. Unusually delicious hot green tea with rice beverage. Staff is very happy, super nice and 4+desirous of pleasing their clients. Recommended¿Te fue útil?
