Shoals Seafood Restaurant is the brainchild of Sean and Sarah Perkes. Established in 2014, the once storage room for the open air seawater pool has been transformed into a unique fish lovers dream. The small family run restaurant and outside terrace provide beautiful coastal views across the bay and beyond.

This is the first time we have been here for a while and we weren't disappointed. The food and service were excellent and of course the view is stunning!

I had the catch of the day and my wife the fish curry. Both found the fish cooked to perfection and plenty of it. The restaurant is small and seating limited, but still one of our favourites in Brixham.

Really great atmosphere, service was spot on and the food was the star of the show. I would definitely recommend this restaurant very highly. Try it.

The fish was cooked well, full of flavour and very fresh. Unfortunately it wasn't very busy, hence the 4 stars for ambience, but we sat outside with magnificant views over the pool and sea. The strange online booking system may have accounted for the lack of customers - one can only book for a table at around noon or 2.15 pm. The waitress suggested we phone to book in the future. The wine was excellent. It would be nice if they did half carafs, or offer different sized wine glasses. We thoroughly enjoyed however and will go again. Can highly recommend.

A beautiful meal in a breathtaking setting! I had the octopus to start and muscles for main. Both were delicious!! We would definitely recommend and do hope to return. Our table was booked for 8:15. The restaurant was really quite warm and the sun was shining through the windows onto us making things a little uncomfortable. I realise this can be difficult to manage in very hot weather but maybe some blinds or air-conditioning could be beneficial to both customers and staff. Many thanks to the very welcoming and friendly team. We enjoyed our visit!
