   Great food, good service. Would have liked a bit of help figuring out a few of the menu items. Glad I noticed the specials written on the wall, they weren’t pointed out. Overall, a nice meal!

   This is a cute sushi spot. The ambience is nice however the music I found was a bit odd as they were blasting Beyonce and Rhianna over and over which wore on us for our entire dinning experience. The food is good... not amazing but it was nice... the miso soup was actually perhaps the best part as it tasted much better then most sushi places. The service was very friendly and prompt. At the end of the meal they took our picture on a camera that printed out our photo and put it on the was which was cute. All in all its a cute little sushi spot worth trying.

   This was our first time and we loved it... sushi very good and lots of noodle dishes available. We'll definitely be back!

   I loved the restaurant and can’t wait to head back. Each meal was better than the next and we loved every dish. Also a good option of drinks. The bao icecream is a must!!!

   We chose this place on a whim because there was a snowstorm and just wanted a place in this area. We were so pleasantly surprised. The food was really really delicious. We had sushi tacos (it was on the specials), salmon tacos, rock shrimp and a few other things. We also order ramen. For me, the broth was a little thick but still tasty. The strip loin was cooked really well. We will definitely return here for another meal.

   Wasabi tako and tonkotsu ramen tasted very good. The quality of sashimi and sushi needs to be improved.

    Sho Izakaya is a relatively new, small, family-run Japanese restaurant. The word "unassuming" comes to mind. The decor is charming and lively; not opulent or traditional or sophisticated like some upscale sushi bars. However, its food is sensational! I'd say it offers some of the best Japanese food we’ve had in TO. The service was very attentive and friendly too. This restaurant deeply cares about the quality of food they serve by carefully choosing fresh, high-quality ingredients. They seem to invest time and care to prepare them just right. Their sake & Japanese beer menu is small but offers quality. The regular menu is supplemented with a daily special menu and dessert menu, which makes the food selection wider and more exciting than most izakayas in town. Anyone who has been to Japan and enjoyed good-quality authentic Japanese cuisine would agree that good Japanese food doesn't have to be expensive (unless it's very "special food" like kaiseki), but being able to serve genuinely "good Japanese food" at reasonable price is not easy here in Toronto due to the high costs of the fresh and quality ingredients. Sho seems to accomplish this not-so-easy feat somehow. Long live and prosper, Sho!
