Authentic Japanese cuisine with organic, natural, and local ingredients prepared by Japanese chef Naoko Tamura and located in a facility completely renovated by world famous Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. Chef Naoko prepares the First Class and main cabin meals for the daily Delta Air Lines flights from Portland to Tokyo.

even tho several of the dishes we tried were excellent, the overall experience was not. The noise level was very high even tho the restaurant was not even half full. The service was friendly, but fell off attention-wise.

The local Portland ingredients married with traditional Japanese techniques and the skill of Chef Naoko make this restaurant very special. There are absolutely no processed foods here. Everything tastes clean, fresh, and simple yet extraordinary.

Went particularly to see the work of architect Kengo Kuma as a small restaurant. After visiting the Japanese Gardens and his work there. Enjoyed his design. Oh, yes, the reason most would go is the food - Excellent.

Had a great dinner here with our Japanese friends who were visiting from Tokyo. They thought the food was very authentic. The food, service, and atmosphere was great! Thanks to Chef Naoko and the staff.
