Restaurant is beautiful, food was outstanding, maybe not the Rangoon cigars, but the noise level is beyond loud. We had to shout across the table and could barely hear the waiter. It is not just the music, the place is just loud

Well it did not disappoint. Very nice atmosphere! Food options were creative and tasty. We got the French fries that were fried in beed tallow!!! Amazing. Also got the mac n cheese with an apple pie component was very good. Steaks were good and tomahawk presentation was fun. Two things that were not good was they kept clearing the table which made us feel like they wanted to turn the table over quickly. We spent more than enough that that shouldn't have happened. Lastly, our knew her stuff and was very nice.

Best part of the night was our amazing server Gilbert. He knocked it out of the park! The ambiance and esthetics of the restaurant are 10/10. Make sure to request Gilbert if you go!

1st time at SHIV and our server (Gilbert) was amazing! Very attentive, kind and explained the whole menu and walked us through the best options for what we are looking for. Definitely recommend and ask for Gilbert!

bartender was excellent and made our experience special. The host, Madison was friendly and took photos of our birthday celebration! Loved the supper show. Had the salmon and it was a little undercooked. Pom frites were very thick for my taste, Ambiance was good!

Excellent experience… even though it was nearly empty. I loved the vibe and will recommend it. Nice to have something different in Scottsdale. I hope this place makes it!

All's well that ends well. Our server, Jake, was great, and he did everything possible to make our dining experience fantastic! However, the problem was parking! Well, there is a lack of free on-site parking. We arrived 5 minutes before our dinner reservation, and since no one was at the valet stand, we parked. One minute later, a gal ran up to our car and said the entire lot was bought out by the valet company, and it would cost $15 to park. Our only other option was to find street parking! What??? We were early bird diners, and not one other car had arrived. The restaurant management needs to allow some free parking, especially for people in their late 60's in the middle of summer. We shouldn't be forced to valet our car. And nowhere on their website OR on Open Table is the customer advised of this requirement. Other than that, the food was great! Duck confit, salmon & wedge salad!

I was really excited to try this place because I've seen pretty good reviews online and we're always looking for a nice place to go with good food. The ambience was great… Although we went on a Sunday evening and there weren't a lot of people there. So the energy/vibe probably wasn't as good as it would be if it was full of people. The band of playing was good. The service was good, we had a really nice waiter. I would say the food was OK. We ordered fillets and they had a really strong smell of Mesquite. Which I was not expecting… It definitely smelled stronger than it tasted, which is a good thing. Overall, I think it would be a fun place to go at a time when there's more people in there. Maybe I would go next time for just cocktails and appetizers though.
