I go to a lot of restaurants, and this was easily the best restaurant I’ve been to in 2025. Drinks, apps, main courses—everything was truly fabulous. The scallop crudo was probably the best I’ve had, while the oxtail udon was easily the best udon dish I’ve ever. The smoky ribs were insane, and the pork belly roll was exceptional. Will absolutely be coming back here.

Back at Shiso tonight and once again, absolutely floored. This time we kept things light and stuck mostly to the sushi and it somehow blew us away even more than usual. Every piece of nigiri was buttery, precise, and perfect. The hand rolls were Flawless. But the short rib? My Lord. Whoever had the idea to wrap that in seaweed and rice deserves a Nobel Prize. Shiso continues to raise the bar. It’s one of those places where no matter how high your expectations are walking in, you somehow leave more impressed. The quality, the flavor, the care in every bite is a reminder of why this spot is quickly becoming one of Miami’s best-kept secrets (and not for long).

Very cool artsy venue on the second story. Walk through a courtyard with limited signage to find it. Well worth the hunt! Foodie heaven.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Decor and ambiance were beautiful. Service was excellent. And the food was absolutely delicious. I found it to be a bit pricey (over $300 for 3, no alcohol), but at least the place delivered. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend, maybe for a special occasion or when you want to splurge.

We were not impressed with Shisho Restaurant. The food left much to be desired — we ordered sushi, but it came out wrapped like a burrito, which was not what we expected and felt quite strange. My husband was especially disappointed, and overall, the flavors just didn’t live up to what you’d hope for at a sushi place. The service was also lacking; staff seemed inattentive and not particularly welcoming. The only redeeming quality of our visit was the drinks — those were actually quite good. Unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to bring us back.
