Great food, great service, exc ellent selection of wine.
Great food and atmosphere. Service is excellent.
A wonderful find… immaculate, great food, friendly staff and all masked. Service was great. The lamb chops were nicely marinated and grilled to perfection. The dates stuffed with feta and walnuts were superb and the Persian dessert feloodeh, a granita and fine noodle dish with rose water and sour cherry syrup was like nothing we ever had before. The host, Seth, was very accommodating and the waitress, whose name I didn’t get, was lovely. We’ll definitely be back.
The space is modern and roomy. We didn't realize there would be a live jazz band. Thankfully we were in the other room, not too close to the band, so it didn't intrude on our ability to converse. (I hate when music is so loud you have to shout to be heard... this wasn't the case.) Our server was very friendly and sweet. The service was a bit slow, but attentive. We really wanted to like the food... the menu is so promising. My husband liked the felafel in the felafel salad; I thought they were dry and had too much crust, but the salad itself was nice. I had the stew with meatballs. It was tasty, if a little on the sweet side. But I thought, as a stew, it would have a variety of discernible ingredients... it was more like meatballs in a thick sauce than it was like a stew. My husband's trout was very dry and absolutely devoid of any seasoning at all. But we ended on an up note; the saffron ice cream sandwich was yummy.
Overall very good. Service was very friendly but inconsistent despite visiting at a quiet time-Sunday at 3. Some dishes could have used a little more seasoning.
We were excited to come here given Michelin note, our love of Mediterranean food, and all the great reviews, unfortunately we were very disappointed. When we entered there was nobody in front to great us and we just stood there for several minutes. The ambiance is quite bland, relatively plain looking. The appetizers came after a while, the waitress couldn’t remember that she already took our order for them, we got a salad and the eggplant dip, they weren’t bad but just not noteworthy. We ordered fish and meatballs for a main fish. The snapper was a tiny piece for $30, not particularly flavorful, the meatballs came as 7 tiny mini appetizer size balls drowned in a sauce. We were celebrating our anniversary and it just missed on all fronts, on top of that we traveled 25 minutes to try it. I know this place has lots of good reviews, but I can easily name a half dozen Mediterranean restaurants between Port Chester, Greenwich, and Stamford that are far better.
Live music was great!
We went there for a celebration and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Fast and attentive waiting staff and very personable service all round. Adile was particularly nice and friendly but everyone who helped us was great.
I would thoroughly recommend Shiraz for dinner and a visit to the store next door.
Favorite for gracious fine dining experience close to home. Family-run, attentive service, well-spaced tables for Covid protection. It is quiet restaurant, making for easy conversation and intimacy
Shiraz continues to be a delightful and Covid-safe place to dine indoors in Westchester. The hosts and wait staff are always appropriately attentive. Some of us could make a meal of the delicious appetizers, particularly falafel, boorani-e-spinach and feta stuffed dates.
OUTSTANDING food service ambiance
The best keep secret in lower Westchester
As to be seated in “Adele’s” section. Outstanding wait service
Just go! Hard to find any room for improvement. They could double their prices and it would still be a good place. Clean, crisp cotton table cloth and napkins along with good silverware. Service was always there without being in your face or pushy. The food? Let me say I didn’t eat better in Dubai.
If I had to find fault, it is that they are 125 miles away!
Great meal great cocktails great wine. What else do you need.
Shiraz Kitchen is a great restaurant! Not only was the food wonderfully delicious but the owner and staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We are so happy to have discovered this restaurant and cannot wait to go back! We will be certain to introduce other friends to this gem!
Been here several times, consistently great. Menu is full of great variety and interesting Persian dishes. Service prompt and the delightful waitress very helpful and full of suggestions. We love it......its a winner!
Wonderful staff, wonderful and plentiful dinner. This was our second time at Shiraz Kitchen and we will be going back again. Live music in the bar on the weekend was an extra bonus.
Was good experience.
Great spot that’s maintained quality through the pandemic - really nice service staff too
Shiraz Kitchen had great upscale, Iranian food all away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Really nice to see it Michelin Guide as well - with an amazing Iranian market!
Came on Jazz Friday and it was great food, music, and service.
Most dishes lacked taste, where are the wonderful spices???
We enjoyed a three course meal; drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts. The food and cocktail were delicious and different.
Wonderful meal, excellent service and great jazz trio!
Came here for a birthday! It was a treat to hear the live jazz band play happy birthday for my son.
Shiraz Kitchen has outstandingly good food!! The appetizers, main dishes, and desserts are excellent especially their pistachio ice cream! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and professional! The interior is elegant and cozy! Would definitely recommend and my husband and I will definitely be back soon!
A varied and interesting menu. Everything we had was outstanding! Attentive service, nice ambience and delicious food---Shiraz is a real winner!
The food here is consistantly outstanding, unique, and plentiful. The staff is gracious, friendly, and helpful. We cannot recommend this place enough.
Shiraz is always wonderful. They never disappoint!
Great restaurant, all the dishes we had was tasty, chicken kabob, lamb chops, falafel, humus & roasted eggplant … all YUMMY! Service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
We went to celebrate my birthday - me, husband, and three teen kids. This was our second visit. It is a really nice place for a special occasion. We had hummus, olives, the cheese plate and the eggplant with yogurt (Mast-o-Bademjoon) for appetizers. And then, everyone was very hungry, so we had lamb shank, grilled Cornish hen, two of the beef stews (dried lime adds a nice note of sour), and the ground beef kebab. Everything was perfect and flavorful. I had the Ghormeh Sabz, a stew with beef and cilantro and beans, but I also tried a little of the lamb shank and the Cornish hen and all were excellent. My husband had the Bademjoon stew and ate every bit. My 15 year old daughter downed her entire beef kebab. Although it is a wine focused restaurant, it was very hot outside, so we went for beer and happily they have a good selection of bottled beer (Leffe, Duvel, Stone IPA and some others). Definitely a good experience
Good was delish service was gracious and attentive
Will certainly go back again and again.
Excellent food, very nice live music on Friday night.
We’ll definitely go back!
So happy that Shiraz Kitchen remains an outstanding place. Great food, friendly staff, and this past Friday live jazz. My favs: Chicken Chops Kabob, and the Vegetarian Stew.
Absolutely delicious food. The flavors blended so beautifully.
Lovely bright a classy surroundings. Attentive service, lovely food, and a nice ambience
Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal. The service was attentive yet not overbearing. Highlights were the lamb chop, chicken and beef kabobs, red snapper, specialty rice dishes, yogurt with scallions, stuffed dates, mirza, and the desserts (halvah with saffron ice cream, and Persian love cake with pomegranate sorbet).
We got lucky because we didn’t realize our Friday night rez included live jazz. The meal was delicious as usual. The owners are lovely. Can’t wait to try their new location in Chelsea.
Our server was a little too eager to take our order. She probably came to our table 4 times in the first 15 minutes while we were just trying to catch up with our friends and enjoy our cocktails. We hadn't even looked at our menus yet. I wish there had been a more thorough explanation of the food as apparently there were choices as to our side dishes. We weren't told that and therefore all of us just got a huge pile of rice with our entrees. The food was very good and I would definitely try there again. As an added extra, there was wonderful live music performing in the lounge.
Fresh , flavorful & authentic. Highly recommend the branzino 😋 Great service and ambiance!!
