Wonderful meal and incredible service. We will return soon!
If you have an eaten at the Shiraz kitchen in Wine bar, you really need to check it out. The food is fresh and delicious. Try the chicken or Koobideh kabobs, and the Zaershk (berry rice)!!
Flavors are heavenly. A lot of the menu is gluten free and you would never know it. From apps to mains and dessert all on point!!!
First time back since pandemic began. Always been a delight with authentic Iranian dishes and terrific wine list. Rice specialties are great and kebabs excellent. Service is wonderful.
Wonderful food and excellent service
Wonderful meal! throughly enjoyed and will return! Lamb shank was terrific, All good
Shiraz is a gem of a place. The food and the customer service is unbeatable. We always leave full and satisfied (both tummy and heart). This is my top favorite restaurant and the 30mins drive is definitely worth it. Thank you staff and management at Shiraz for consistently providing quality food and top notch service!!!!
Hidden gem; excellent food and service. Authentic Persian experience.
The food is outstanding and portions are generous.
We enjoyed the appetizers (dates with feta and salads) very much and the desserts (baklavah and love cake!!!). The vegetarian stew was very good as was the felafel entree. The others we had were just OK. The owner was very kind and truly wanted us to have a great experience. That said, the service was not so much... We'll try again in 6 months, hopeful that the pandemic staffing issues that we see everywhere will be resolved by then.
Excellent food and service. A new favorite restaurant!
The very best Persian food in the area! It is our go-to place to satisfy my Persian husband's cravings since we do not live near his mom.
GREAT SURPRISE STOP ON THE WAY BACK TO NYC, STAFF WERE WONDERFUL! Quick and easy!!!
Great food, great service!!!! The only thing was letting customers know beforehand certain menu dishes are sold out. Will definitely go back again!!!! Much love!!!!
Wonderful visit to Shiraz kitchen. Delicious food from appetizer to dessert. Definitely order the Persian Love Cake!
Our waiter Sid was great - wry attentive and knowledgeable with great drink and food suggestions. The feta and date allowed amazing as was the Persian Stew. Overall a great dinner!
A gem in Westchester. As soon as you walk in the door you are made to feel like family sharing in the wonderfully prepared foods that the staff lovingly present to diners.
The service was off. One entree we ordered was no longer on the menu. It has been off for months. The manager told us at least 20 minutes after we ordered and we had to scramble to order something else and he blamed the delay in notification on a new server. If you are the manager, you own it. A special rice side did not come out and when it did it was not the one we ordered. The food is very good, but the discordant timing detracted from the experience.
Great food, great service, exc ellent selection of wine.
Great food and atmosphere. Service is excellent.
A wonderful find… immaculate, great food, friendly staff and all masked. Service was great. The lamb chops were nicely marinated and grilled to perfection. The dates stuffed with feta and walnuts were superb and the Persian dessert feloodeh, a granita and fine noodle dish with rose water and sour cherry syrup was like nothing we ever had before. The host, Seth, was very accommodating and the waitress, whose name I didn’t get, was lovely. We’ll definitely be back.
The space is modern and roomy. We didn't realize there would be a live jazz band. Thankfully we were in the other room, not too close to the band, so it didn't intrude on our ability to converse. (I hate when music is so loud you have to shout to be heard... this wasn't the case.) Our server was very friendly and sweet. The service was a bit slow, but attentive. We really wanted to like the food... the menu is so promising. My husband liked the felafel in the felafel salad; I thought they were dry and had too much crust, but the salad itself was nice. I had the stew with meatballs. It was tasty, if a little on the sweet side. But I thought, as a stew, it would have a variety of discernible ingredients... it was more like meatballs in a thick sauce than it was like a stew. My husband's trout was very dry and absolutely devoid of any seasoning at all. But we ended on an up note; the saffron ice cream sandwich was yummy.
Overall very good. Service was very friendly but inconsistent despite visiting at a quiet time-Sunday at 3. Some dishes could have used a little more seasoning.
We were excited to come here given Michelin note, our love of Mediterranean food, and all the great reviews, unfortunately we were very disappointed. When we entered there was nobody in front to great us and we just stood there for several minutes. The ambiance is quite bland, relatively plain looking. The appetizers came after a while, the waitress couldn’t remember that she already took our order for them, we got a salad and the eggplant dip, they weren’t bad but just not noteworthy. We ordered fish and meatballs for a main fish. The snapper was a tiny piece for $30, not particularly flavorful, the meatballs came as 7 tiny mini appetizer size balls drowned in a sauce. We were celebrating our anniversary and it just missed on all fronts, on top of that we traveled 25 minutes to try it. I know this place has lots of good reviews, but I can easily name a half dozen Mediterranean restaurants between Port Chester, Greenwich, and Stamford that are far better.
Live music was great!
We went there for a celebration and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Fast and attentive waiting staff and very personable service all round. Adile was particularly nice and friendly but everyone who helped us was great.
I would thoroughly recommend Shiraz for dinner and a visit to the store next door.
Favorite for gracious fine dining experience close to home. Family-run, attentive service, well-spaced tables for Covid protection. It is quiet restaurant, making for easy conversation and intimacy
Shiraz continues to be a delightful and Covid-safe place to dine indoors in Westchester. The hosts and wait staff are always appropriately attentive. Some of us could make a meal of the delicious appetizers, particularly falafel, boorani-e-spinach and feta stuffed dates.
OUTSTANDING food service ambiance
The best keep secret in lower Westchester
As to be seated in “Adele’s” section. Outstanding wait service
Just go! Hard to find any room for improvement. They could double their prices and it would still be a good place. Clean, crisp cotton table cloth and napkins along with good silverware. Service was always there without being in your face or pushy. The food? Let me say I didn’t eat better in Dubai.
If I had to find fault, it is that they are 125 miles away!
Great meal great cocktails great wine. What else do you need.
Shiraz Kitchen is a great restaurant! Not only was the food wonderfully delicious but the owner and staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We are so happy to have discovered this restaurant and cannot wait to go back! We will be certain to introduce other friends to this gem!
Been here several times, consistently great. Menu is full of great variety and interesting Persian dishes. Service prompt and the delightful waitress very helpful and full of suggestions. We love it......its a winner!
Wonderful staff, wonderful and plentiful dinner. This was our second time at Shiraz Kitchen and we will be going back again. Live music in the bar on the weekend was an extra bonus.
Was good experience.
Great spot that’s maintained quality through the pandemic - really nice service staff too
Shiraz Kitchen had great upscale, Iranian food all away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Really nice to see it Michelin Guide as well - with an amazing Iranian market!
Came on Jazz Friday and it was great food, music, and service.
Most dishes lacked taste, where are the wonderful spices???
