Please note that this is not a customly created chef's tasting course, but rather a compilation of our existing menu and specials of the day. Designed for sharing, this menu is perfect for groups of two or more and requires a minimum of two guests. To ensure availability, reservations are required. The Omakase menu is priced per person and excludes tax and gratuity. Beverages are not included in the course but can be added at an additional cost. Food was out of control good. Best nigiri we’ve ever had. Amazing appetizers and cocktails. These guys know what they’re doing! My only critique is that our server was spread too thin and didn’t come to our table for long stretches of time. Two of my three cocktails also took about 20 min from when I ordered them to when they got to the table. Also the server got one of the cocktails wrong but we drank it anyway. If the food wasn’t so amazing, we might not return but we’ll for sure be coming back.

I've been there before for my birthday and it was great. The service was slow because we were in the backroom back table. However, I'm patient and didn't complain because we had good conversations with my friends and my two friends just met and got to know each other. If it wasn't me, then the usual customer would be frustrated. Just be aware of your customers.

Incredible sushi, world class presentation and service, and an overall wonderful experience. 10/10 all around. Let the experienced servers walk you through a culinary experience you will never forget. Top it off with shaved ice for dessert! Soooooo goood!

Shimogamo always delivers an elevated dining experience. Everything we had was great but we were especially blown away by the shaved ice dessert. The texture was unbelievable. Like a gently packed ball of freshly fallen snow.

Amazing!!!! We had Tac at the sushi bar and just loved the service, food and ambiance. Hands down the best sushi in Arizona!

The food and service was fantastic. The music was a bit loud and obnoxious and didn’t match the vibe of the restaurant. Still one of our favorite restaurants.

This was a very special dinner with my twin daughters who absolutely love sushi. The Nu Car Rental agent Pouri had recommended this restaurant to us while we visited Phoenix. The food was amazing. Our server was so fun and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much!
