The delicate, aromatic flavors of Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia take center stage at this stunning rooftop retreat. Guests may choose to dine in the comfort of the main dining room or on the expansive terrace where they can take in the sweeping views of Lyford Cay Marina and the crystal blue waters beyond.     Simply beautiful! Despite the crowd, the staff managed well. Kevin was our server and he was attentive. Kudos to him.

    Shima is always a hit! We went for Mother's Day brunch and the food was great, the service was top notch and the mimosas were delicious. There were no long waits or non-attentive service to be found even though Mother's Day is a busy day for brunch at restaurants. Highly recommend.

    The food had deteriorated since our last visit. Pad Thai was missing key ingredients and was too bland, other noodles were greasy and overcooked, table was dirty despite our multiple requests to clean (which it was finally, at the end of our meal, we ate indoors because the hotel had a loud outdoor concert beneath the balcony. Shima has been overtaken by better places

    Visited on a recommendation for our trip. The experience was wonderful and a plus when there is live music on the evening you visit. Beautiful setting with fantastic food. The staff is warm and inviting making this spot a must
